BOOT CARRIAGE FOR REPOSITIONING A SURGICAL BOOT ALONG A SUPPORT ROD
A limb support comprises a spar, a limb rest, and a coupler. The spar is configured to be supported from a patient support apparatus and adjustable relative to the patient support and has a longitudinal axis. The coupler includes a release that is selectively actuable to release locking mechanisms to permit adjustment of the limb support relative to the spar.
EXTREMITY SUPPORT AND IRRIGATION DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
An apparatus for supporting an extremity during tissue irrigation and debridement and containing and capturing fluid and tissue debris resulting therefrom includes an extremity-supporting base and barrier shroud. The apparatus can be used to control drainage of fluid and tissue debris during irrigation and debridement. The apparatus supports and encloses a patient extremity, such as an arm or a leg. The base has a length, proximal end (i.e., nearest the patient's body), and distal end (i.e., farthest from the patient's body). The base may comprise an open-cell foam that is non-collapsible to provide a support surface with a fixed length. The shroud has a top portion, bottom portion, and shroud drainage opening. The shroud can be selectively moveable between a first position in which the support surface is unobstructed to facilitate placement of an extremity thereon and a second position in the shroud at least partially encloses the extremity.
Femoral Lift Apparatus
A femoral lift apparatus for an operating table having a side rail, the apparatus engageable with the femur of a patient. The apparatus includes a lift mountable to the side rail. An extension arm is receivable on the lift, the extension arm extending transversely from the lift when the extension arm is received on the lift. A plurality of apertures can be defined along the extension arm, and a femoral hook can be receivable in one of the apertures in the extension arm, the femoral hook having a hook end shaped to be received under and contour the femur of the patient positioned on the operating table when the lift is mounted to the side rail of the table, the extension arm is received on the lift, and the femoral hook is received in one of the apertures of the extension arm.
PAD ASSEMBLY, SYSTEM, METHOD OF PRE-LOAD POSITIONING OF PATIENT FOR MEDICAL PROCEDURE AND KIT
A pad assembly, system and method of securing a patient onto an operating table when the patient is in the Trendelenburg position. The pad assembly and system is used to support and hold a patient on a medical procedure table during a medical procedure performed while the table, and thus the patient lying thereon, is in an inclined position, such as the Trendelenburg position. The pad assembly and system has characteristics which promote improved securing to eliminate shifting and/or sliding due to gravitational forces when the patient's body is in the Trendelenburg position, as well as promote a secure holding of the patient in a desired position on the table, in order to minimize injury to the patient. The pad assembly and system further has improved channels to allow for drainage of fluids that may otherwise be trapped between the patient's body and the OR Table during the surgical procedure.
LEG SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
A leg support assembly includes a lower frame including a pair of arms orientated parallel to each other. A pad is attached to the arms. An upper frame has an open end and an open central area. The open end is directed towards the pad. A plane of the upper frame is orientated parallel to a plane of the lower frame. A flexible material is attached to the upper frame and extends across the open central area. The flexible material supports an elevated leg of a person. A plurality of supports is attached to and extends between the upper and lower frames and retains the upper frame vertically above the lower frame. The plurality of supports is hingedly coupled to the lower and upper frames to allow lowering or raising of the upper frame relative to the lower frame.
KNEE RANGE OF MOTION DEVICE UTILIZING TANGENTIAL JOINT TRANSLATION AND DISTRACTION
A knee range of motion device utilizing tangential joint translation and distraction is disclosed. The device includes a carriage connected to a base, the carriage having a base attachment section; a thigh support section pivotally attached to the base attachment section; and a lower leg support section pivotally connected to the thigh support section. The device further including a carriage support extending between the thigh support section and the base, the carriage support pivotally connected to the thigh support section and adapted to slide in slots on the base; a first actuator connected to the lower leg support section to extend and retract the lower leg support section, thereby causing a foot support connected to the lower leg section to move; and a second actuator connected to the lower leg support section to raise and lower a calf support, causing an anterior and posterior tibial translation.
LOWER LIMB TRACTOR AND POSITIONER FOR HIP ARTHROSCOPY AND OSTEOSYNTHESIS SURGERY
The present invention belongs to the field of means of transport, personal means of transport or arrangements specially adapted for the sick or the disabled; chairs or operating tables; dentist chairs; burial devices specifically to the operating tables and their accessories, consisting of a sacral support that is anchored to the operating table with two handles with two traction arms that are installed on the shafts of the sacral support and then the suitable perineal support is placed either for hip or femur osteosynthesis surgery or arthroscopy, with a lateralizing bar that allows using the image intensifier to the full extent of the limb without interference.
FEMORAL ELEVATOR DEVICE
A proximal femoral bone elevating device used during a total hip replacement surgical procedure for primarily lifting the proximal femoral bone outside the surgical wound to allow the surgeon for adequately ream and prepare the lifted bone for insertion of trials and implant into the medullary cavity of the proximal femur. The device comprises a main gearbox, a vertical shaft and a bone hook attachment which is placed under the trochanteric region of the proximal femur. The main gearbox is firmly attached over the sterile drapes to the side rails of conventional operating tables. Turning the crank handle will raise the vertical shaft and the bone hook thereby lifting the proximal femur outside the surgical wound.
LIMB POSITIONING SYSTEM
A limb positioning system for positioning and maintaining immobilized a patient's limb in a desired position with respect to a surgical table during orthopedic surgery. The system includes: a pivoting member having a longitudinal portion extending along a corresponding longitudinal axis; a support member configured to support the patient's limb; the support member includes a support hooking part connected to the longitudinal portion and movable along the longitudinal portion; a clutch connected to the pivoting member having an open configuration and a locked configuration, wherein, in the open configuration, the clutch enables pivoting of the pivoting member around a rotation axis that is parallel to the longitudinal axis, distinct from the longitudinal axis, and wherein, in the locked configuration, the clutch allows immobilization of the pivoting member in the desired position; and at least one fixation member configured to maintain the system in position with respect to the surgical table.
Surgical support system
A surgical table extension comprises a frame and a connector. The frame includes a surgical table connecting portion, a first connector, and a second connector. The connector enabler is movably coupled to the frame and is configured to selectively enable one of the first connector and the second connector to be removably coupled with a support device.
