Multi-site surgical drape apparatus
A patient support for use with a foundation frame is disclosed. The foundation frame includes a first column and a second column. The patient support includes a base beam, a leg support, and a guide. The base beam is coupleable to the foundation frame to be supported by the first column and the second column. The leg support has a first end pivotably coupled to the base beam and a second end spaced apart from the first end. The, guide is coupled to the base beam and to the second end of the leg support. The guide is configured to guide the second end of the leg support along an arcuate path when the leg support pivots relative to the base beam.
Support apparatuses comprising cooling elements
A support apparatus configured to support a person is provided. The support apparatus includes a top surface including one or more predetermined areas, one or more conduits located inside the support apparatus which are located proximate to the one or more predetermined areas, and an air supply configured to provide air to the one or more conduits for delivering to the one or more predetermined areas. The air supply includes a temperature sensor configured to measure a temperature of the air provided by the air supply, a cooling element, and a controller communicatively coupled to the temperature sensor and the cooling element. The controller determines whether the measured temperature of the air is higher than a predetermined temperature, and controls the cooling element to cool the air to the predetermined temperature if it is determined that the temperature of the air is higher than the predetermined temperature.
Comfort Therapy
The present invention is a therapeutic pad with breast receiving cavities. The therapeutic pad with breast receiving cavities contains a platform, a cavity, and an adjustment element. The cavity traverses into the platform. The adjustment element is positioned within the cavity. The therapeutic pad with breast receiving cavities may take the form of a therapy device to replace surgical table padding, chiropractic dorsal pads, or other various therapeutic treatment table paddings to accommodate humans with breasts or additional curvature in the breast area. The therapeutic pad with breast receiving cavities constitutes specialized padding with breast recess areas to provide maximum comfort by allowing patients to control the pressure in the breast area when receiving therapeutic care or medical procedures.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RADIATION THERAPY AND IMMOBILIZING DEVICE THEREOF
A radiation therapy system may be provided. The system may include a therapeutic apparatus. The therapeutic apparatus may include a radiation source for directing therapeutic radiation to at least one portion of a region of interest (ROI) of a subject, and an immobilizing device for immobilizing the subject. The system may obtain characteristics information of the subject. The system may preheat the immobilizing device according to a predictive model that processes the characteristics information of the subject. The system may send a control signal to the therapeutic apparatus for applying the therapeutic radiation to the at least one portion of the ROI immobilized by the preheated immobilizing device when the immobilizing device is preheated to a certain temperature.
Medical posture retainer
The present invention is a medical posture retainer having a mat and a core member. The mat includes an airtight bag and a cushion layer. The airtight bag is a cover of the mat and has a gas barrier property. An exhaust valve for deflation is attached to the bag. The cushion layer is formed of particles in the bag. The core member includes a plate-like support that is attached to a side face of the hag to keep a certain rise height, and a stopper that is attached to the upper face and the lower face of the airtight bag to restrict the rise height. The core member is attached before deflation of the bag so as to impart a shape necessary for receiving a specific part of a human body.
ANTERIOR BOOT FOR HIP DISTRACTION
A surgical boot system and sleeve accessory for hip distraction. The surgical boot system includes an L-shaped rigid shell having a proximal portion and a distal portion. A soft liner is attached to the rigid shell and extends along at least one of the proximal portion and the distal portion. The surgical boot system also includes at least one strap assembly (which can be a plurality of strap assemblies) extending around the rigid shell. A load transmission hoop is connected to and extends around the distal portion of the rigid shell and an attachment point is connected to the load transmission hoop. The rigid shell is pivotable about the attachment point. Specifically, the attachment point is configured to interface with a hip distractor apparatus in a way that allows for multiple degrees of freedom.

A surgical boot system and sleeve accessory for hip distraction. The surgical boot system includes an L-shaped rigid shell having a proximal portion and a distal portion. A soft liner is attached to the rigid shell and extends along at least one of the proximal portion and the distal portion. The air immersion mattress stimulates a fluid environment which enhances the prevention and management of pressure ulcers, skin flaps, and grafts. The hybrid air immersion mattress is designed for comfort and enhanced circulation utilizing adjustable air bladders together with high density support foam. The apparatus includes a low friction mattress cover top, memory foam topper, mattresses air bladder containing air and foam elements, foam foundation, mattress bottom, inflation valve for the bolsters, and adjustable valves for the air bladders.

The present disclosure provides a positioning assembly for a radiation irradiation system. The positioning assembly includes a shielding body made of polymer and radiation shielding material capable of shielding the radiation and a sealing bag for accommodating the shielding body, when the target to be irradiated is placed on the positioning assembly, the positioning assembly is recessed with a shape of the target at the position where the target is placed and forms a contour corresponding to the target to position the target to be irradiated.
