An adjustable surgical frame for supporting a patient to facilitate different surgical approaches to the spine of the patient includes a first end, an opposite second end, and a length extending between the first and second ends thereof. The surgical frame has a longitudinal axis extending between the first and second ends along the length thereof, and includes a first support surface, a second support surface, and a third support surface. The surgical frame also includes an adjustable chest support, an adjustable hip and upper leg support, and an adjustable feet and lower leg support. The surgical frame is moveable between a first position, a second position, and a third position, and the chest support, the hip and upper leg support, and the feet and lower leg support are moveable to accommodate differently sized patients on the surgical frame.

QUICKLY ADJUSTABLE COMPACT SPINDLE TRACTION MECHANISM WITH SELF-LOCKING FOR USE IN SURGICAL INVERVENTIONS
20200206056 · 2020-07-02 · ·

A self-locking spindle traction mechanism for use in surgical procedures has a longitudinal axis (L). The mechanism may include an operating end, a connecting end for connecting a surgical accessory, and a threaded spindle drive. The spindle drive may include a spindle having an external thread, and a spindle nut that is seated on the spindle and has an internal thread. The mechanism may include a slide that is movable along the longitudinal axis by a relative rotation between the spindle and the spindle nut, a drive device that is situated on the operating end for rotationally driving the threaded spindle drive, and a gear. The gear may be connected between the drive device and the threaded spindle drive, so that the gear is configured for stepping up the speed of a rotational movement of the drive device and delivering it to the threaded spindle drive.

OPERATING TABLE HAVING A LOAD SENSOR ARRANGEMENT

Operating table (100) comprising a load sensor assembly (102) having multiple load sensors for measuring at least one variable from which a load acting on the load sensor assembly (102) can be determined, wherein the load sensor assembly (102) is arranged between at least two parts of the operating table (100), and wherein the at least two parts are substantially non movable in relation to one another. The load sensors may be arranged in a shared common plane. Output from the sensors can be used to prevent tipping or overloading of the operating table or portions of the operating table.

A surgical boot system and sleeve accessory for hip distraction. The surgical boot system includes an L-shaped rigid shell having a proximal portion and a distal portion. A soft liner is attached to the rigid shell and extends along at least one of the proximal portion and the distal portion. The surgical boot system also includes at least one strap assembly (which can be a plurality of strap assemblies) extending around the rigid shell. A load transmission hoop is connected to and extends around the distal portion of the rigid shell and an attachment point is connected to the load transmission hoop. The rigid shell is pivotable about the attachment point. Specifically, the attachment point is configured to interface with a hip distractor apparatus in a way that allows for multiple degrees of freedom.

SURGICAL TABLE

A surgical table comprises a tabletop having several tabletop sections, a column for supporting the tabletop by supporting one of the tabletop sections, and at least one operating unit, wherein one of the tabletop sections is a movable tabletop section configured to perform a motion with respect to at least one of an adjacent tabletop section and the column in a power-driven manner, and the operating unit is fixed to the movable tabletop section for actuating the motion.

Radiotherapy board and couch

Provided herein is a radiotherapy breast board and couch for use in radiotherapy treatment of breast cancer patients, which are particularly suitable for treating the patient to the breast/thoracic wall and regional lymph nodes in prone position. The radiotherapy breast board and couch comprises a caudal part for supporting the lower body of the patient and a cranial part with supports for the head and non-treated parts of the upper body. The board or couch further provides an opening allowing for the affected breast of the patient to pass through and an opening allowing for the regional lymph nodes to pass trough as said patient lies in a prone position on said board or couch. This opening allows the use of a variety of beam directions to reach the affected region via short radiological path lengths without passing elements of the breast board or couch.
