BOOT CARRIAGE FOR REPOSITIONING A SURGICAL BOOT ALONG A SUPPORT ROD
A limb support comprises a spar, a limb rest, and a coupler. The spar is configured to be supported from a patient support apparatus and adjustable relative to the patient support and has a longitudinal axis. The coupler includes a release that is selectively actuable to release locking mechanisms to permit adjustment of the limb support relative to the spar.
PATIENT POSITIONING DEVICE
A device for use with an OR table for supporting a patient's head in a sniff position has a support assembly including a base and patient head support for mounting to an end of an OR table; a pneumatic or mechanical jack, or an expandable bellows, supporting the patient head support for raising or lowering the patient's head relative to the base; a rotatable axis allowing for flexion and extension of the neck; and a mounting assembly for mounting the support assembly to the end of the operating table.
BED LEVELING SYSTEMS FOR A SURGICAL TABLE
A bed leveling system for a surgical table, which incorporates a platform adapted for a patient to lie down upon, includes an energy emitting device and a first spacer. The energy emitting device is configured and dimensioned to be positioned on a platform of a surgical table. The first spacer is configured to be positioned on a platform of a surgical table to support a portion of a patient's body. The first spacer has a thickness such that a top surface of the first spacer is substantially flush with a top surface of the energy emitting device when disposed adjacent the energy emitting device on a platform of a surgical table.
PAD ASSEMBLY, SYSTEM, METHOD OF PRE-LOAD POSITIONING OF PATIENT FOR MEDICAL PROCEDURE AND KIT
A pad assembly, system and method of securing a patient onto an operating table when the patient is in the Trendelenburg position. The pad assembly and system is used to support and hold a patient on a medical procedure table during a medical procedure performed while the table, and thus the patient lying thereon, is in an inclined position, such as the Trendelenburg position. The pad assembly and system has characteristics which promote improved securing to eliminate shifting and/or sliding due to gravitational forces when the patient's body is in the Trendelenburg position, as well as promote a secure holding of the patient in a desired position on the table, in order to minimize injury to the patient. The pad assembly and system further has improved channels to allow for drainage of fluids that may otherwise be trapped between the patient's body and the OR Table during the surgical procedure.
LIMB POSITIONING SYSTEM
A limb positioning system for positioning and maintaining immobilized a patient's limb in a desired position with respect to a surgical table during orthopedic surgery. The system includes: a pivoting member having a longitudinal portion extending along a corresponding longitudinal axis; a support member configured to support the patient's limb; the support member includes a support hooking part connected to the longitudinal portion and movable along the longitudinal portion; a clutch connected to the pivoting member having an open configuration and a locked configuration, wherein, in the open configuration, the clutch enables pivoting of the pivoting member around a rotation axis that is parallel to the longitudinal axis, distinct from the longitudinal axis, and wherein, in the locked configuration, the clutch allows immobilization of the pivoting member in the desired position; and at least one fixation member configured to maintain the system in position with respect to the surgical table.
HYGIENIC LINER FOR MEDICAL INFANT RESTRAINT DEVICE
A liner for an infant holder having at least one recess includes a body having an upper surface, a lower surface, and a plurality of sidewalls extending between the lower surface and the upper surface. The lower surface and the plurality of sidewalls define at least one cavity receivable within the at least one recess of the infant holder.
Dual column surgical table having a single-handle unlock for table rotation
A surgical patient support includes a foundation frame, a support top, and a brake system. The foundation frame includes a first column and a second column. The support top is coupled to the first column and the second column for rotation about a top axis extending along the length of the support top. A single-handle unlock for the support top is also provided.
MODULAR PATIENT POSITIONING SYSTEM
During orthopedic surgeries, body parts are moved in different ways to cause different anatomic features (e.g. muscles or the trochanters) to tighten or loosen, or become more or less prominent during the intended surgical incisions, which can result in easier surgical procedures. Body parts can be moved using a variety of different structures. The exemplary structures described herein can allow for: (1) a person's leg and foot to be rotated about the axis of the leg (i.e., femur/tibia axis); (2) a person's leg can be pivoted generally about the hip/femoral head/acetabulum to vary the angle between the axis of the leg and a median sagittal plane; (3) a person's leg can be moved in a direction parallel to the leg axis; and/or a person's leg can be pivoted in a generally vertical plane, about the femoral head/acetabulum while the axis of the leg and the median sagittal plane remaining substantially parallel.
Operating table for robotic surgical systems
An actuating system including at least one actuation section that includes a plurality of actuating supports. Each of the actuating supports includes a shaft assembly and configured to be actuated individually. The shaft assembly of each of the plurality of actuating supports is configured to translate between a first position and a second position. In the first position an actuated actuating support is aligned with the remaining of the plurality of actuating supports and in the second position the actuated actuating support is misaligned with the remaining of the plurality of actuating supports.
Adjustable lithotomy positioning apparatus with a limb rest
A limb support comprises a spar, a limb rest, and a coupler. The spar is configured to be supported from a patient support apparatus and adjustable relative to the patient support and has a longitudinal axis. The coupler includes a release that is selectively actuable to release locking mechanisms to permit adjustment of the limb rest relative to the spar.
