SYSTEMS AND DEVICES FOR PROVIDING LIFT ASSISTANCE FOR A SURGICAL PROCEDURE
Systems and devices oriented in a compact manner provide lift assistance to a spar of a surgery table for hip, leg-related surgeries, or generally lower limb related orthopedic procedures. The compact device does not impede the radiolucency of the spar below the patient's hip, trochanter, or femur.
ROTATABLE FIXATION BRIDGE
A rotatable fixation bridge as described herein may include a first end fixedly connectable to a reference and defining at least a portion of a first joint; a second end fixedly connectable to an anchor and defining at least a portion of a second joint; and a bridge member extending between and rotatably secured to the first end and the second end, the bridge member rotatable relative to an axis and comprising a central portion offset from the axis.
Patient positioning system
A patient support system may include a pelvic bolster assembly and a thoracic bolster assembly. Each of the assemblies may be attached to a conventional surgical table frame by the surgical table frame's longitudinal rails. A plurality of adjustment mechanisms and components are provided to allow for easy and safe manipulation of a patient before and during surgery.
Anterior boot for hip distraction
A surgical boot system and sleeve accessory for hip distraction. The surgical boot system includes an L-shaped rigid shell having a proximal portion and a distal portion. A soft liner is attached to the rigid shell and extends along at least one of the proximal portion and the distal portion. The surgical boot system also includes at least one strap assembly (which can be a plurality of strap assemblies) extending around the rigid shell. A load transmission hoop is connected to and extends around the distal portion of the rigid shell and an attachment point is connected to the load transmission hoop. The rigid shell is pivotable about the attachment point. Specifically, the attachment point is configured to interface with a hip distractor apparatus in a way that allows for multiple degrees of freedom.
Surgical frame including main beam for facilitating patient access
A surgical positioning frame for supporting a patient includes a main beam having an axis of rotation relative to support structures. The main beam rotates the patient between a prone position and a lateral position. The main beam including a conforming main beam portion extending between the first and second support arms. The conforming main beam is preferably configured to allow a surgeon access to one lateral side of the patient and a surgical assistant access to the other lateral side of the patient with limited interference thereby.
Surgical boot with splined support rod
A limb support comprises a spar, a limb rest, and a coupler. The spar is configured to be supported from a patient support apparatus and adjustable relative to the patient support and has a longitudinal axis. The coupler includes a release that is selectively actuable to release locking mechanisms to permit adjustment of the limb support relative to the spar.
INFLATABLE DEVICE WITH ERROR-PREVENTION ASPECTS
An inflatable device for patient positioning is provided. The inflatable device may include a first inflation chamber subsystem, a second inflation chamber subsystem, a third inflation chamber subsystem. At least a portion of the first inflation chamber subsystem may be conspicuously marked with a first color. At least a portion of the second inflation chamber subsystem may be conspicuously marked with a second color. At least a portion of the third inflation chamber subsystem may conspicuously marked with a third color. The first, second, and third colors may be visually distinct.
SEMI-AUTOMATED PATENT POSITIONING UTILIZING PATIENT BODY METRICS
A method of positioning a patient utilizing an inflatable device is provided. In one example, plurality of patient metrics may be received. A first chamber pressure target value, a second chamber pressure target value, and a third chamber pressure target value may be determined based on the plurality of patient metrics. The device may be inflated. The step of inflating the device may include inflating a first, second, and third chambers of the at least three independently inflatable chambers to the first, second, and third chamber pressure target values, respectively. A controller configured to execute the method may also be provided.
SURGICAL POSITIONING SYSTEM
A positioning system for securing a patient relative to a surgical table is provided. The system may include a pad body, a plurality of pad straps and a plurality of body straps. The pad body may include an upper body portion, a lower body portion with first and second lower body extensions, and first and second arm extensions corresponding to the respective first and second lower body extensions. The plurality of pad straps may be configured to be positioned through at least one of the upper body and lower body portions. The plurality of body straps and the plurality of pad straps may be configured to engage each other. The system may include a support strip to increase friction and resist movement relative to the surgical table. A method of a positioning system is also provided.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND WORKFLOWS FOR CONCOMITANT PROCEDURES
Robotic medical systems may perform concomitant procedures. A robotic system can include a first robotic arm configured to manipulate a flexible instrument and a second robotic arm configured to manipulate a rigid instrument. The robotic system can include a first arm support for supporting the first robotic arm and a second arm support, distinct from the first arm support, for supporting the second robotic arm. The robotic system can include a display for displaying feedback from the flexible instrument and the rigid instrument.
