Rehabilitation assisting apparatus
A rehabilitation assisting apparatus has a main body, a waist assisting unit mounted above the main body, and two leg assisting units separately disposed side by side above the main body. Each of the leg assisting units is pivotally connected with the waist assisting unit. An upper rocking plate of the waist assisting unit can be driven to roll leftward and rightward to rehabilitate or train a waist of a user. A leg lifting bracket of each of the leg assisting unit can be driven to pitch upward and downward to rehabilitate or train a leg of the user.
A CHAIR
A chair includes a seat (2) and also includes a pair of thigh support elements (17) pivotal n a generally downwardly direction about front pivot axes (20) from a first state forming with a central seat element (15) a substantially common plane, to a second downwardly extending state. The elements (17) are also pivotal about second pivot axes in a generally rearwardly direction for urging the user's thighs away from each other for stretching the adductor muscles. Foot support members (49) extend transversely and sidewardly on respective opposite sides of the chair (1) from a support element (46) for supporting the foot during a stretching exercise with the corresponding thigh of the subject extending downwardly from the seat (14) and the lower leg extending from the knee in a upwardly inclined direction to the foot support member (49) for stretching the quadriceps and the hip flexor muscles of the subject.
Portable stretching device
A portable stretching device is provided having a gear housing and gear mechanism that move stretching poles in opposing rotational directions to provide a maximum stretching position.
Posture-enforcing seat
The posture-enforcing seat is a chair. The posture-enforcing seat is a therapeutic structure. The posture-enforcing seat is adapted for use with a patient. The posture-enforcing seat forms a physical boundary that limits the lateral motion of the thighs of the patient. The posture-enforcing seat comprises a chair structure and a plurality of corrective structures. The plurality of corrective structures attach to the chair structure. The plurality of corrective structures forms the boundary structure that limits the lateral motion of the thighs of the patient.
WEARABLE ASSIST ROBOT APPARATUS
Upper arms are fixed to drive shafts of a pair of drive sources at or near respective left and right hip joints. The upper arms are coupled to an upper body trunk harness by first passive rotary shafts via third passive rotary shafts, and are mounted to a lower body trunk harness by a mounting device. Lower arms are fixed to drive source bodies, and are coupled to thigh harnesses by second passive rotary shafts via fourth passive rotary shafts. The first and second passive rotary shafts and third and fourth passive rotary shafts are angularly displaceable about axial lines in a lateral direction of the wearer and axial lines in an anteroposterior direction of the wearer, respectively. An acceleration/angular speed sensor fixed to the lower body trunk harness detects an acceleration of the body trunk in a vertical direction by landing of a foot.
ACTUATING DEVICE FOR POWERED ORTHOSIS
An actuating device for orthosis including a housing, a motor, a transmission disposed in the housing, and an actuating arm. The transmission is operatively connected to the motor such that the motor provides power to the transmission. The transmission includes a first stage, a second stage, and a third stage. The first stage has a first sprocket, a second sprocket, and a first drive belt tensioned between the first sprocket and the second sprocket. The first sprocket is attached to a shaft of the motor. The second stage has a third sprocket, a fourth sprocket, and a second drive belt tensioned by the third sprocket and the fourth sprocket. The third sprocket is attached to the second sprocket of the first stage. The third stage has a fifth sprocket, a sixth sprocket, and a third drive belt tensioned by the fifth sprocket and the sixth sprocket. The fifth sprocket is attached to the fourth sprocket of the second stage. The transmission additionally includes a first shaft and a second shaft. The second sprocket, the third sprocket, and the sixth sprocket are attached to the first shaft, and the fourth sprocket and the fifth sprocket are attached to the second shaft. The actuating arm is operatively connected to the sixth sprocket of the third stage of the transmission such that the power provided to the transmission by the motor causes the actuating arm to provide an output torque.
Leg Stretching Apparatus
A stretching machine of two seat having bases and backrests which is pivotally mounted to the base including a first leg platform having a pivot end and a free end, the pivot end being connected to the base of the seat and a second leg platform having a pivot end and a free end, the pivot end being connected to the base of the seat. The stretching machine includes a mechanism for rotating the backrest relative to the seat as well as a mechanism for rotating the leg platforms about their respective pivot ends such that the free ends move in a generally arcuate path.
Ankle-spinning exercise apparatus
An ankle-spinning exercise apparatus includes a casing unit, a power unit arranged in an interior of the casing unit, and a support unit drivable by the power unit to perform a rotation motion. A user may place an ankle on the support unit, and the power unit drives the support unit to perform rightward and leftward rotation motions, so that the entire lower limb (leg) of the user is driven to do a spinning like rotating motion, to thereby exercise the muscles and the meridian system of the entire lower limb of the user by which an effect of body building and heath care can be achieved.
Robotic sports performance enhancement and rehabilitation apparatus
A robotic sports apparatus includes a plurality of robotic arms and a plurality of fastening members operably coupled to a respective robotic arm of the plurality of robotic arms. Each fastening member is configured for receiving a limb of a patient. Each robotic arm is configured to move each respective fastening member in at least one of a different direction or a different speed relative to one another for opening neural pathways in the patient.
Machine or apparatus for performing exercises
Embodiments of the inventive subject matter include an apparatus for performing stretching exercises. In some embodiments, the apparatus comprises a base, a seat, and an upright member. Additionally, in some embodiments, the seat is connected to the base and can rotate with respect to the base. In some embodiments, the upright member is connected to the base and includes a leg bar assembly.
