TOE TAPPING EXERCISE EQUIPMENT
A toe-tapping exercise machine comprises: a foot rest part having a right foot rest adapted to seat a user's right foot thereon and a left foot rest adapted to seat the user's left foot thereon; and an operating part coupled to the foot rest part to allow toe portions of the foot rest part to tap each other, the operating part comprising: a driving motor for transferring rotating power; a right foot rest operator for receiving the rotating power from the driving motor to operate the right foot rest; and a left foot rest operator for receiving the rotating power from the driving motor to operate the left foot rest, the driving motor being disposed between the right foot rest operator and the left foot rest operator and having rotary shafts extended from both sides thereof.
Foot-therapy and toe-aligning device
Described is an exercise tool. More particularly, it is a therapy and exercise tool specifically devised as a foot-therapy and toe-aligning device to align, separate, and stretch toes. The foot-therapy and toe-aligning device comprises a frame with a plurality of posts connected with the frame. The device is formed of an elastic material such that a user may place at least one of the plurality of posts between a user's toes and pull the post to stretch and elongate the post between the toes. Upon release, the elastic material of the post causes the post to attempt to return to its original shape, thereby causing it to expand out and conform its shape to fit snugly against the user's toes. Additionally, the elastic material allows the toe posts to be positioned and maintained at numerous locations between the user's toes for customizable positioning between the toes.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FOOT EXERCISE
There is provided a foot exercising device and method of exercising a foot using the device. The foot exercising device includes a foot support, a lift wedge, and a tilting arrangement. The foot support includes an elevated footrest to support a foot of a person thereon and a platform, having an extensive floor-contact area when in operation, coupled to the elevated footrest for supporting the elevated footrest on a floor. The lift wedge to be arranged on the elevated footrest is operable to receive the toes thereon. The tilting arrangement includes a pair of spaced apart fixed plates coupled to the elevated footrest, a pair of spaced apart movable plates hingedly coupled to the fixed plates, a centre plate arranged between the pair of spaced apart movable plates, and a rod pivotally coupled to the centre plate to exert pressure on at least the heel, the middle foot bones and the toes to perform foot correction exercises.
Foot stretcher
A foot stretcher assembly for stretching a foot includes a foot stretcher and a handle removably secured with the foot stretcher. The foot stretcher includes a sole that is flexible in response to receiving a foot. The foot stretcher assembly can also include a securing feature to maintain the foot relative to the foot stretcher.
EXOSKELETON WITH ADMITTANCE CONTROL
A control system and method for an exoskeleton is provided. The control system utilizes the admittance control paradigm to provide a system and method for manipulating the exoskeleton using minimal force from the user. A force/torque sensor and servo motors are fitted onto a passive arm support, enabling motorized support for a user with upper extremity weaknesses. The exoskeleton may be used on any extremity. The admittance control paradigm includes an impedance control and an admittance control to allow a user with upper extremity weakness and limited independence to intuitively and with minimal force control the precise trajectory of their arms to achieve a greater degree of independence in activities of daily living. Unlike existing passive arm supports that utilize springs or rubber bands to balance the user's arm against gravity, this system provides more precise gravity compensation and minimizes the amount of force required to control the exoskeleton.
MOTION ASSISTANCE APPARATUS
A motion assistance apparatus includes a proximal support configured to support a proximal part of a user, a first drive link and a second drive link configured to perform translational motions with respect to the proximal support at different velocities, a support joint rotatably connected to the second drive link, a support body connecting the first drive link and the support joint, the support body configured to simultaneously perform a translational motion and a rotational motion with respect to the proximal support, a distal support connected to the support body, the distal support configured to support a distal part of the user, and a torque providing device configured to provide a torque to rotate the support joint.
Augmenting Human Motion
A system for augmenting the motion of a person includes an assistance apparatus with a first attachment for connecting the assistance apparatus to a first point on the person's body, a second attachment for connecting the apparatus to a second point on the person's body, an actuator for applying force between the first and second attachment points, the force augmenting motion of a part of the body, and a set of sensors detecting reaction force on the person's body when moving in the manner that the actuator augments. A control system implements a negative feedback loop, in which the force applied by the actuator is based on a weighted sum of measurements from the sensors, and is updated continuously based on the sensor measurements.
Therapy Device
A therapy device for treating left-side and right-side body parts comprises a single-piece base plate having a left surface and a right surface, a moving segment having a support surface for a left- or right-side body part to be treated, and a drive for pivoting the moving segment back and forth relative to the base plate. The moving segment is fastened to the base plate so as to be pivotable around an axis of rotation. The left surface of the base plate is shaped for supporting thereon a left-side body portion assigned to a left-side body part to be treated. The right surface of the base plate is shaped for supporting thereon a right-side body portion assigned to a right-side body part to be treated.
