Unique portable foldable five-device-in-one kneeler-bench-caddy-table-umbrella system, having kneeler system, bench system, caddy system, table system, and kneeler-bench-caddy-table-locking umbrella system
A unique portable and foldable five-device-in-one system comprises: two foldable garden tables each for holding foods and drinks thereon, two foldable elastic garden-tool caddies each attached to the one of the two foldable garden tables and each for storing garden tools therein, two spring-loaded finger-centralizing stabilizers each welded to one of the two foldable garden tables and each for releasably locking the rotatable kneeler-bench cushion, a rotatable kneeler-bench cushion for providing comfort when seated or kneeled on, and an adjustable umbrella rotatably attached to one of the two foldable garden tables and having a kneeler-bench-caddy-table-locking arm for releasably locking the two foldable garden tables right side up. The unique portable and foldable five-device-in-one system can be used as an adjustable umbrella when providing shading protection, as two foldable garden-tool caddies when the two foldable caddies store garden tools, as a rotatable garden kneeler when the rotatable kneeler-bench cushion is upside down, as a rotatable garden bench when the rotatable kneeler-bench cushion is right side up, and as two foldable garden tables when the two foldable garden tables are locked right side up.
POUCH SYSTEM AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
Disclosed herein is a system for storing, transporting and containing items while operating or using any device, such as a cane, crutch, walker, stroller, bike, scooter, boat, pole, backpack or wheelchair. In one example, a disclosed system includes a pouch with a first vertical attachment member formed of hook and loop material and a second vertical attachment member having an adhesive back and a hoop and loop material front. In some examples, the pouch has horizontal attachment members which allow additional attachment points for the pouch to be secured to the device. In use, the second vertical attachment member is secured to the device by the adhesive backing and the pouch is coupled to the device by aligning and pressing the hook and loop material surface of the first vertical attachment member on the pouch with the hook and loop material of the second vertical attachment on the device.
Obstacle avoidance using mobile devices
Methods, systems, and products estimate distances to aid a visually impaired user of a mobile device. As the user carries the mobile device, a camera in the mobile device captures images of a walking cane. The images of the walking cane are analyzed to infer a distance between a tip of the walking cane and the mobile device. The distance may then be used by navigational tools to aid the visually impaired user.
ILLUMINATED WALKING ASSISTANCE APPARATUS
An illuminated walking assistance apparatus is disclosed. In at least one embodiment, the apparatus provides an elongated staff having a ground-engaging tip portion at a first end and a handle at an opposing second end. The staff provides a light pipe positioned proximal the tip portion and having a light-emitting member disposed therein to selectively illuminate the ground proximal the tip portion. The staff further provides a pilot light positioned in the handle which is always on so as to facilitate locating the apparatus in a dark environment.
