POLE APPARATUS, METHODS, AND SYSTEMS

One aspect of this disclosure is a pole apparatus. The pole apparatus may comprise a grip segment comprising a cord attachment surface; a pole segment; a tip segment and a cord extending between at least the pole segment and the tip segment. The grip segment, the pole segment, and the tip segment may be arrangeable in a side-by-side disposition. A portion of the cord extending between the pole segment and the tip segment may be positionable on the cord attachment surface in the side-by-side disposition. The grip segment may be removably attachable to the tip segment such that, when the portion of the cord is positioned on the cord attachment surface, the removable attachment of the grip segment to the tip segment may maintain the side-by-side disposition. Aspects of related apparatus, methods, and systems also are disclosed.

Cane with deployable support structure

A cane having: a primary leg with a top end and an opposed bottom end; a handle coupled to the top end of the primary leg; and at least two secondary legs that are each pivotably coupled to the primary leg between the top and bottom ends of the primary leg. Each of the at least two secondary legs is pivotable between a first, retracted position and a second, deployed position.

COMPACT FOLDING CANE

A compact and collapsible cane includes a handle, a tip, and at least two collapsible cane segments joining the handle to the tip. In some aspects, the cane segments are configurable in an unfolded configuration and a folded configuration, where, in the folded configuration, a flat or nesting surface of one of the cane segments abuts a corresponding flat or nesting surface of an adjacent cane segment. In various examples, the collapsible cane includes a hinge with two parallel pivot axes between the two collapsible cane segments. In some examples, the cane includes a connector system with a male connector and a female connector connected by a shock cord between the two collapsible cane segments.

WALKING DEVICE WITH PICK UP MECHANISM

An improved walking device is disclosed wherein the walking device comprises an elongated body that is more than one foot in length, a movable arm coupled to the elongated body, a power source connector, a sensor, two rotation wheels, and two release and lock mechanisms, wherein the sensor is capable of detecting an orientation of the walking device and producing an electronic signal based on the orientation, wherein the electronic signal is capable of at least partially causing a rotational movement of the movable arm by releasing at least one of the two release and lock mechanisms, wherein the two release and lock mechanisms engage the two rotation wheels separately, and wherein the two rotation wheels are capable of driving the movable arm in two different directions.

Walking stick with integrated water filtration
10881173 · 2021-01-05 ·

An embodiment includes a walking stick. The walking stick includes a rod assembly, a water purification assembly, and a manual pump. The rod assembly extends from a first end to a second end that is opposite the first end along a longitudinal direction of the rod assembly. The rod assembly includes at least one rod portion. The water purification assembly is integrated with the rod assembly. The manual pump is configured to impose a pressure gradient in the water purification assembly. The manual pump includes a plunger that is physically coupled to a handle portion. Motion of the plunger relative to the water purification assembly draws water into an inlet tube that is positioned in the rod portion and through the water purification assembly. The motion of the plunger results from translation of the handle portion in substantially the longitudinal direction of the rod assembly.

Apparatus for Converting a Pair of Poles into a Weapon Mount
20200386507 · 2020-12-10 ·

An apparatus converts a pair of poles into a weapon mount by mounting one pole to another pole in order to form an X-shaped configuration with the poles. The X-shaped configuration, formed by the poles, provides a pivot point on which a barrel of a firearm can be supported. The apparatus includes a first brace, a second brace, and a brace-attachment mechanism. The first brace allows the apparatus to attach onto one pole, and the second brace allows the apparatus to attach onto the other pole. The brace-attachment mechanism allows the first brace to be selectively attached to the second brace and, therefore, one pole can be mounted to the other pole in order to form an X-shaped configuration that provides the pivot point on which the barrel of a firearm can be supported.

UMBRELLA WITH PET WASTE BAG DISPENSER
20200352291 · 2020-11-12 ·

An umbrella having a pet waste bag dispenser is provided. The umbrella includes a canopy mounted to a post, a handle at a lower end of the post. The handle has a first end attached to the post and a second end having a cap member which is a removably attachable on an open bottom of the second end. The handle further defines a cavity therein and an opening formed on a side of the handle. The plurality of bags are in a rolled-up configuration and positionable within the cavity. Each bag of the bag module is accessible through the opening when the bag module is positioned within the cavity.
