Display device for a walker
A display device for a walker is disclosed which has a panel having a front surface, a back surface, a left side, a right side, an upper side, a lower side, and printed matter printed on the front surface, a first left side attachment device and a second left side attachment device each extending out from the left side of the panel, a first right side attachment device and a second right side attachment device each extending out from the right side of the panel, an upper attachment device extending out from the upper side, a lower attachment device extending out from the lower side, and a back attachment device extending out from the back surface.
APPARATUS WITH IMAGING FUNCTIONALITY
A pincer apparatus, including two arms forming a pair of jaws at the arm tips, at least one camera positioned on the pincer apparatus, a communication port for transmitting an image captured by the camera to an external device including an image display, and a power source configured to power the camera and the communication port.
Walking cane with enhanced security features and video recording capability
A walking cane with enhanced security features designed for use by a user to facilitate walking on a ground surface is provided. The walking cane includes a housing having a tubular member with a front face, a rear face and a pair of side faces, a handle coupled to the rear face of the housing, and a camera disposed within the internal cavity of the housing and having a lens that protrudes out the front face of the tubular member. The handle is grasped by the user to facilitate walking on the ground surface while the camera activates to simultaneously generate video of the surrounding area of the cane for a later retrieval.
Cane Fabric Wrap
Cane fabric-wraps are attachable and removable stretch fabric/foam wraps that once applied to a standard walking cane add new features to the cane and alter the shape, color and overall appearance of a traditional cane silhouette. The cane fabric wraps can have reflective elements for nighttime visibility on the front or visible surface, permanent address labels on the back or hidden surface and silicon material pieces (on the back surface) to prevent the wrap from sliding downwards when the cane is in use. The fabric wraps are typically secured to the cane with a three-step process. First with a snap at the top edge, secondly with a full-length hook & loop tape, and thirdly with a snap at the bottom edge. These three steps allow for installation onto the cane and removal from the cane. The overall shape of the wrap is designed to provide a large area for a variety of design and color application and also room for the reflective elements to be placed.
Adjustable slip resistant walking surface for use with a mobility aid
An attachment to a mobility aid, such as a walker, wheeled walker or rollator, or wheelchair that automatically positions a slip resistant surface under the foot of the user. The distance the slip resistant surface is from the mobility aid is adjustable to suit the user. A retractable slip resistant surface attachment is removably attached to sides of the mobility aid. A sliding channel bracket is slidably attached to an attachment panel permitting the sliding channel bracket to be adjusted longitudinally. A slide panel with slide members captured by the sliding channel bracket permits an attached slip resist surface to move freely back and forth with a retraction mechanism. Adjustable, secure footing is obtained on wet or slippery surfaces preventing falls.
COMPACT FOLDING CANE
A compact and collapsible cane includes a handle, a tip, and at least two collapsible cane segments joining the handle to the tip. In some aspects, the cane segments are configurable in an unfolded configuration and a folded configuration, where, in the folded configuration, a flat or nesting surface of one of the cane segments abuts a corresponding flat or nesting surface of an adjacent cane segment. In various examples, the collapsible cane includes a hinge with two parallel pivot axes between the two collapsible cane segments. In some examples, the cane includes a connector system with a male connector and a female connector connected by a shock cord between the two collapsible cane segments.
Walking device with pick up mechanism
An improved walking device is disclosed wherein the device comprises an elongated body, a movable arm coupled to the elongated body, a power source connector, a first sensor, a releaser, a first spring, wherein the first sensor is capable of detecting an orientation of the device and producing an electronic signal based on the orientation, wherein the electronic signal is capable of at least partially causing a movement of the releaser, wherein the releaser is capable of nudging the movable arm away from a resting position, and wherein the first spring is capable of causing the movable arm to rotate to a deployed position.
Cup and bottle holder assembly for a walking aid
A combined cup and bottle holder assembly is configured for mounting to the shaft of a walking aid. A bottle support component has bottle-engaging structure that projects outwardly in a first direction, and has a first half of a coupling structure that projects outwardly in an opposite second direction. A cup retention subassembly has a gyroscopic cup-holding portion that projects outwardly in the second direction, and has a second half of the coupling structure that projects outwardly in the first direction. An attachment pin selectively couples the first and second coupling structure halves to one another about the shaft length. The gyroscopic cup-holding portion includes a two-axis gimbal arrangement.
CONTROLLER STRAP AND BATTERY DOOR FOR A VR HEADSET
A lanyard to hold a controller for a headset is provided. The lanyard includes a strap anchored on a top portion of a lid for a battery case of the controller, and a clip anchored to an opening pin in a bottom portion of the lid for the battery case of the controller. The strap includes a stretchable fabric and multiple sticky pads on an outer face that adhere to the stretchable fabric when the strap is looped around the clip. A headset using a controller that includes a lanyard as above, and the controller, are also provided.
