Shower head
09855569 · 2018-01-02 · ·

A shower head (40) has a passageway for a flow of pressurized air from a pressurized air supply, via a Venturi (48) having a convergent portion (46), throat (50) and divergent portion (52), to a shower discharge opening (56), and a passageway (58) for a flow of water from a water supply to a water discharge opening (60) in the Venturi. The Venturi is such that, in use, the general direction of the flow of air is turned through a substantial angle in the Venturi. This folding of the Venturi enables a compact configuration of shower head to be provided.

EMERGENCY WASH SYSTEM

An emergency wash system configured to dispense a fluid is disclosed. The system comprises a receptacle and a dispenser assembly disposed at least partially over the receptacle. The dispenser assembly comprises a fluid inlet portion configured to extend in a substantially horizontal direction when in use and configured to be in fluid communication with a fluid supply. The dispenser assembly also comprises a first outlet portion defining at least one first discharge opening, a second outlet portion defining at least one second discharge opening, a first fluid riser extending upwardly and outwardly from the inlet portion towards the at least one first discharge opening and a second fluid riser extending upwardly and outwardly from the inlet the first fluid riser towards the at least one second discharge opening on a side of the fluid inlet portion opposite the first fluid riser.

Occupant actuated hydrotherapy jet
09717647 · 2017-08-01 · ·

An occupant-actuated massager for a hydrotherapy vessel. The massager jet has an actuation point at which the occupant applies force to cause the pressurized water to flow therethrough and provide a massage via a shuttle. A valve piston is actuated to open and close based on the application of force to the actuation point. Optionally, a venturi can be used to introduce air into the water flow to provide further massage.

ELONGATED STEAMHEAD FOR A STEAM BATH
20170020782 · 2017-01-26 ·

The dispensing chamber of the steamhead is mounted between the studs within the wall of a steam bath enclosure. The chamber is isolated from the environment and includes an elongated steam outlet extending outwardly from the chamber, through an opening in the wall. The rectangular outer edge of the outlet is flush with the interior surface of the wall and is the only portion of the chamber visible from inside the enclosure. The outer edge of the outlet is shaped to coordinate with the appearance of a linear drain. It also allows the steam to be dispensed over a wider area. The outlet has a steam flow capacity greater than the steam flow capacity of the inlet such that steam expands within the chamber as the velocity of the steam is reduced. Internal baffles reduce noise. Light sources may be associated with the chamber.

HOT TUB WALL JET NOZZLE

A hot tub wall jet nozzle includes a nozzle body and a nozzle core seat. Water flows from the water inlet into the water flow channel in the nozzle body. Air enters through the air inlet of the nozzle body and reaches the first air accommodating cavity, then flows from the first air accommodating cavity to the second air accommodating cavity, and the air from the second air accommodating cavity is then mixed with the water in the nozzle core seat at the water outlet under the Venturi effect, and the mixed water and air flow is finally discharged through the water outlet. This structural arrangement allows for reduced dilution and loss of air bubbles during water flow transmission. The Venturi effect produced in this nozzle is capable of generating a greater volume of air ejection, thus enhancing the strength and effectiveness of the massage.

Systems and methods for a multi pattern spa jet

This disclosure relates generally to jets for spas and, more specifically, to jets that can have more than one jet hydrotherapy spray mode. The jet can include a selectively rotatable jet head, the jet head having a first jet spray mode and a second jet spray mode. The jet head includes a valve, the valve having a first water inlet and a second water inlet, the valve further comprising a first air channel and a second air channel. The valve is rotatable from a first jet spray mode position in which a water intake is in fluid communication with the first water inlet and an air intake is in fluid communication with the first air channel, to a second jet spray mode position in which the water intake is in fluid communication with the second water inlet and the air intake is in fluid communication with the second air channel.

A hydrotherapy tub coplanar flow device includes a body mounted onto an inner surface of the hydrotherapy tub. The body includes at least one set of oppositely faced coplanar flow nozzles allowing coplanar flow to occur in opposite directions from the device. The device includes a hollow internal channel therein extending continually from a first slotted nozzle at one end of the body to a second slotted nozzle at a second end of the body that water from a water supply inlet can flow in both directions within the hollow channel towards both slotted nozzles.
