PORTABLE HYDROTHERAPY APPARATUS
This invention relates to a portable bath and hydrotherapy apparatus, utilizing an electric or a battery-operated motor. More particularly, the invention relates to a portable hydrotherapy unit which can be used in conjunction with a bathtub or with other open-topped bodies adapted to be partially filled with a supply of liquid. The improved resultant of the present invention is the utilization of such a motor for hydrotherapy purposes whereby the unit re-circulates the water of the bathtub.
PLUMBING FIXTURES FOR A SPA
A through bulkhead connector for a spa includes a first fitting member and a second fitting member slidably connected to the first fitting member. The first fitting member includes a flange and an adapter portion extending from the flange and defining a passageway through the adapter portion and flange. The flange includes a receiving slot formed therein and which is open at one end for receiving a correspondingly shaped and dimensioned portion of the second fitting member.
Pipeless water jet assembly
A water jet assembly includes a faceplate with at least one opening, a housing constructed to cooperate with the faceplate, and a mover disposed within a chamber of the housing. The mover is configured to move between a first position adjacent the at least one opening of the face plate and a second position offset from the faceplate to provide a variable volume within the chamber. The water jet assembly also includes an exciter connected to the housing and configured to transition the mover between the first position and the second position to increase and decrease the volume to move fluid into and out of the chamber via the at least one opening.
Heated Massage Pillow
A massage pillow configured to be positioned over a fluid jet includes a cushion and a retaining assembly. The cushion includes a front surface, a rear surface, and side surfaces extending there between. The rear surface includes an annular edge defining an opening providing access to an interior of the cushion sized to at least partially cover the jet. The retainer assembly includes an opening configured to align with the jet and a peripheral edge configured to retain the annular edge of the cushion. The retainer assembly is configured to be removably fixed to a wall surrounding the jet with the jet aligned with the opening of the retainer assembly and the opening of the cushion, such that fluid expelled from the jet passes into the interior of the cushion, so that the pillow provides massage and/or warmth due to the expelled fluid.
Tub with swirl ports and dispenser
A bathtub assembly includes a bathtub shell containing a volume of liquid, a circulation system in communication with the shell for creating a flow of liquid to and from the shell, and a dispenser assembly for introducing a substance into a portion of the flow of liquid into the bathtub shell. A control panel is rotatably mounted on an upper rim of the bathtub shell proximate to an inlet to the dispenser assembly and rotates to alternately cover or expose the inlet. A plurality of directed flow jets are connected to the bathtub shell for conveying the flow of liquid into the shell to create a directed flow of liquid within the bathtub shell.
Dual plumbing system for a hot tub or spa
Systems, apparatus and methods for providing air and water to hot tub jets. The present teachings include jet assemblies, manifold assemblies, and related components, as well as methods of assembling hot tubs involving these components. In some cases, the present teachings describe the use of dual extrusion tubing to route air and water through adjacent, connected fluid conduits. In some cases, the present teachings describe a press-and-click method of connecting various components.
JET NOZZLE
A jet nozzle includes a single-piece body having a water inlet with a first inlet channel coaxial with a first inlet axis, a gas inlet with a second inlet channel coaxial with a second inlet axis, and an outlet coaxial with an outlet axis, the single-piece body defining a fluid passageway from the first inlet channel to the outlet. A channel wall having a water channel is positioned in the fluid passageway between the first inlet channel and the outlet, the water channel being coaxial with the outlet axis and having a diameter that is smaller than a diameter of the first inlet channel. The second inlet axis is substantially perpendicular to and intersects the outlet axis at a point within the water channel.
FOOT SPA TUB PUMP AND METHOD
A foot spa tub includes a tub basin, a first magnetic drive member rotatably coupled to a drive motor, and a first casing supporting the magnetic drive member. The first casing is disposed against an exterior surface of a sidewall of the basin. A second magnetic drive member is rotatably coupled to a blade. The first and second magnetic drive members are magnetically coupled to each other so that the blade is drivingly coupled to the drive motor. A nozzle houses the second magnetic drive member and the blade. The nozzle is detachably securable to an interior surface of the sidewall by a magnetic attraction force between the first and second magnetic drive members. A method of circulating liquid in a foot tub spa is also provided.
Water spraying device for above ground pool
An aeration nozzle for spraying water infused with air into an above-ground water cavity defined by a wall, comprising a nozzle body having at least a first internal conical portion including an upstream end and a downstream end, the downstream end being smaller than the upstream end, a water way extending through the nozzle body and the first internal conical portion, an air way extending through the nozzle body, the air way intercepting the water way within the nozzle body downstream of the first internal conical portion, and a check valve disposed along the air way that permits air to be pulled through the air way and into the water way by way of a vacuum force caused by water flowing within the water way through the first internal conical portion and prevents water from entering the air way.
