A yoga stool also may have a base portion, and a seat portion on top of the base portion, wherein the seat portion has an internal firm support member such as a solid slat, and preferably softer material such as foam rubber surrounding the support member, at least on the left and right sides. The yoga stool may include opposed side elements joined by a rear element and front element with a removable top element that may be U-Shaped to allow for additional poses or exercises.
USE OF CANNABINOIDS IN THERAPY AND WELL-BEING APPARATUSES
The present invention relates to a device for applying energy to a human body. The device comprises a contact surface which defines an application region in which a human body can be placed in the effective range of the energy. The device further comprises at least one means for outputting the energy directed substantially onto the application region, and at least one means for generating a vapour mixture comprising at least one cannabinoid. The device according to the invention also comprises at least one means for guiding the vapour mixture, which has an effective dose of at least one cannabinoid, into the surroundings of the breathing orifices of a human body. The present invention further relates to a method for operating such a device, and to the use of vapour mixtures comprising at least one cannabinoid in designated devices.
Massage apparatus providing pulsed electromagnetic field
A massage apparatus providing a pulsed electromagnetic field may comprise: a massage unit which comprises a mount frame provided so as to be movable along the body of a user, and an acupressure module protrudingly provided to the mount frame so as to apply pressure to the body of the user; a pulsed electromagnetic field generator which is provided to the mount frame so as to be independent from the acupressure module, and which generates a pulsed electromagnetic field by means of power applied thereto; and a controller which controls the operation of the acupressure module or the generation of the pulsed electromagnetic field. According to such massage apparatus, a pulsed electromagnetic field may be generated by having the pulsed electromagnetic field generator be provided to the massage unit so as to be separate from the acupressure module or air cells performing a massaging operation. In addition, an effect such as body tissue cell activation or damaged cell healing of the pulsed electromagnetic field may be provided when the massaging operation is being performed. Thus, compared to when only a pulsed electromagnetic field is provided without a massaging operation, or when only a continuous electromagnetic field is provided, fatigue of a user may be alleviated, or a disease or illness treatment or prevention effect may be doubled. In addition, since the pulsed electromagnetic field generator is arranged so as to be independent from the acupres sure module or air cells, the range of effects of the electromagnetic field may be expanded so as to include providing a pulsed electromagnetic field to even nearby sites to which pressure is not applied by the acupressure module or air cells, and since the pulsed electromagnetic field generator may be independently detached or replaced, costs for managing the massage apparatus may be reduced.
DEVICE FOR MOBILIZING THE HUMAN OSTEO-MUSCULOTENDINOUS SYSTEM
A device for mobilizing the human osteo-musculotendinous system, including a kneepad arranged to cover a knee of a human user so as to keep the knee in the kneepad, and arranged to exert, on the knee covered by the kneepad, a mobilizing force, the mobilizing force applying pressure to the knee and being directed towards a bearing surface arranged so that the user's pelvis can bear against said surface and a means for increasing the mobilizing force.
Rotational swing systems and methods for providing vestibular stimulation
A rotational swing system is used for providing vestibular stimulation. The rotational swing system may include a rotational swing that is actuated by a motor. The system has a support frame arranged so that the motor does not need to bear the weight of the swing, thereby reducing the cost of the motor. When the system is used in a classroom to provide vestibular stimulation to a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), the automatic actuation of the swing by the motor helps to free the teacher's attention for addressing the needs of the other children in the classroom.
Massage machine
A massage machine includes a seat unit on which a treatment subject person is configured to sit, a backrest unit configured to support a back of the person sitting on the seat unit, a base that is disposed in front of the backrest unit; and a treatment mechanism that is attached to the base configured to perform a massage on a shoulder of the person in a state where the person sits on the seat unit. The treatment mechanism includes a drive unit which includes an output shaft attached to the base and rotated by supplied power, and a treatment device configured to press the shoulder from above. In accordance with rotation of the output shaft, the treatment device oscillates in an upward/downward direction so as to perform the treatment on the shoulder.
Water Encapsulated and Mechanical Hybrid Body Massage Chair with Rapid Heating and Cooling Control
A chair is disclosed for providing water and air adjustable massage. The massage chair includes a surface that is easy to clean, and water-filled rollers within the chair to apply a massaging effect to the body of the user thereon. Each water-filled roller incorporates a foam inner roller that is surrounded by either a cylindrical water-filled wrap or water-filled inserts. The massage chair incorporates a leg section to perform a percussive and vibrating massage on the legs of the user thereon. The massage chair has the ability to recline and to apply heat and/or cooling to the user thereon. The massage chair incorporates auto-sensing controls, massage pattern software, and Cloud Control Software that enables the owner in a commercial environment to establish the time for use, frequency, and price for the massage session.
VIBRATION PRODUCING DEVICE WITH SLEEP CYCLE FUNCTION AND TRANSDUCER
A device is described for delivering a therapeutic vibration to a body. The device may include at least two motors in a housing with unbalanced masses coupled to their axles, such that vibration of the masses causes the two motors and housing to vibrate at a beat frequency 80. The motors and housing may be coupled to the body via a platform which places the motors and housings at or near a resonant structure in the body, creating a coupled oscillation between the platform and the body. The vibration may be based on the input signal, such that the system applies the vibration based on the input signal to the user, wherein the signal may be an audio or video signal. The system may be configured to measure and manipulate the flow of cerebral spinal fluid.
