PRESSURE RELEASE AND MASSAGE TOOL
Device and method for relieving muscle tension. The device includes a tip portion with a first three dimensional geometry, an extension portion with a second three dimensional geometry, and a base portion with a third three dimensional geometry. The device is configured such that a user can attain trigger point release on a muscle or muscle group by positioning the device on a fixed surface, positioning the tip portion of the device to be in contact with the muscle or muscle group, and then selectively applying pressure to the muscle or muscle group using the weight of the user and contact forces.
FOOT AND LEG STRETCHING DEVICE
A stretching device includes a heel platform sized and shaped to support a heel of a foot of a person thereon. The stretching device also includes a ball platform sized and shaped to support a ball of a foot of a person thereon. The ball platform is angularly offset relative to the heel platform. The stretching device includes one or more connection members connecting the heel platform to the ball platform. The stretching device includes an extension slot connected to the ball platform. The stretching device includes a stretching device extension. The stretching device extension includes an extension platform arranged coplanar with the ball platform. The stretching device extension includes an extension insert arranged within and selectively removable from the extension slot.
EXERCISE AND REHABILITATION APPARATUS
There is proposed an apparatus for joint exercise and rehabilitation. The apparatus including a housing which supports a plurality of spaced apart motion devices that enable a user to position a limb thereon or onto a platform supported thereon, such that the limb is movable along a generally arcuate path to undertake a joint exercise and/or rehabilitation activity of the limb or joint.
Physical Stretching Apparatus
A physical stretching apparatus having: an anchor strap, wherein the anchor strap is configured to be operable for attaching the apparatus to any stationary object; an anchor joint, the anchor joint is configured to attach the anchor strap and a rope implement; an elastic looped strap configured to secure the apparatus to various points on a user; an attachment contrivance, wherein the attachment contrivance is configured to be operable for attaching the elastic looped strap to the rope implement; a rope lock that is configured to permit the rope implement to pass in one direction when pulled and restricts the rope implement from passing in an opposite or reverse direction; and a release mechanism that disables this restriction and a sliding restrainer, wherein the sliding restrainer is configured to be operable for adjusting a size of the looped strap.
FITNESS EQUIPMENT PROVIDED WITH MASSAGE PEDALS
Disclosed is a fitness equipment provided with massage pedals, comprising a frame, two pedals, two rotating shafts, a flywheel swing arm, a flywheel, a damping wheel and a belt; the pedals are mounted on the frame and provided thereon with massage mechanisms; the pedals are connected to the rotating shafts; inner ends of the rotating shafts are rotatably connected to an outer end of the flywheel swing arm; a middle portion of the flywheel swing arm is sleeved on an outer end of a flywheel axle; the flywheel axle penetrates the flywheel, a middle portion of the flywheel axle and the damping wheel are rotatably mounted to the frame; and the belt is wound on the damping wheel and the flywheel.
Standing surface to encourage movement
A shaped standing mat or base providing a trampoline-like rebounding surface that is a highly responsive and dynamic support surface for a standing person where that person is able to maintain a proper stance relative to their foot angle, and to engage in mild exercise movement and foot rotation and stretching without undue interruption of mental concentration in a work or other environment.
Exercise and therapy devices
An example exercise and therapy device includes a foot covering. The foot covering includes a pocket. The exercise and therapy device also includes a pliable object. The pliable object is received within the pocket and arranged to be placed adjacent a foot of an individual wearing the foot covering.
Multi-use mounting bracket with extension and internal support rod for gym accessories
Described herein are methods of manufacturing multi-use mounting brackets having an extension with an internal support rod configured to support gym accessories. A single multi-use mounting bracket fits gym rigging or gym racks of different sizes and hole configurations. This accomplished by including multiple pairs of holes that are sized and positioned to be compatible with different gym rigging configurations. The multi-use mounting brackets described herein are advantageously designed to resist both downward and upward forces.
Combined mobility and stability apparatus
A combined mobility and stability device including a body member having a platform base formed at a first end and a semi-circular dome shaped pressure application member formed at an opposing second end, the platform base having a diameter between about 2 inches to about 12 inches, the body member having a flexion portion disposed on an outer surface of the body member between the platform base and the pressure application member, wherein the flexion portion includes a relief disposed between the first end and the opposing second end and is configured to allow the pressure application member to bend with respect to a pivot axis centered about the relief.
Therapeutic roller with coupling and non-coupling nodules
A therapeutic roller system for use in myofascial release. The therapeutic roller system includes a hollow roller and a coupling nodule. The hollow roller presents an outer wall. The hollow roller includes a receptor opening traversing the outer wall. The coupling nodule includes an upper therapeutic segment and a lower locking segment. The lower locking segment is configured to be inserted into the receptor opening in a first orientation. The lower locking segment is configured to be secured within the receptor opening in a second orientation. The therapeutic roller system may further include a non-coupling nodule.
