MASSAGE CHAIR HAVING AN IMPROVED ARMREST AND SHOULDER SLIDING MECHANISM, WIRELESS CHARGER, HAMMERING DEVICES, AND OXYGEN GENERATION
20220183922 · 2022-06-16 · ·

The present invention is directed to a massage chair having a massage chair frame, a massage system, and a noise-reducing, enclosure device. The frame includes a first end, a second end, a seat body area portion, and a back body area portion. The massage system includes at least one air massage element, an air pump, and at least one air valve device for regulating air flow into and out of the air massage element. The enclosure device includes an enclosure housing and noise-reducing material positioned inside the housing. The housing encloses the air pump and air valve device(s) during operation such that noise generated from or made by the air pump and air valve device(s) during operation is reduced, contained or eliminated. The present invention may include additional features: armrest sliding, shoulder airbag sliding, media player holder, virtual reality player, wireless charger, hammering devices, heating acupuncture devices, and oxygen generator.

Back stretcher bed assembly
11351081 · 2022-06-07 ·

A back stretcher that has a basket shaped held support and an extending foot holder. In use, the patient is placed on the table. The patient' head is placed in the head support basket. The patient's feet are secured to the foot support. Once activated, the device slowly extends the foot support outwards, which causes the patient to be stretched. This system is safer than other systems because the patient's head, although supported, is not tied to the apparatus-especially under the chin or around the patient's neck. Unlike other tables, this table is one-piece making construction simpler and less costly. Finally, inasmuch as the foot portion is the only section that is moved, the mechanism is simpler and therefore more economical.

Exoskeleton with admittance control
11337881 · 2022-05-24 ·

A control system and method for an exoskeleton is provided. The control system utilizes the admittance control paradigm to provide a system and method for manipulating the exoskeleton using minimal force from the user. A force/torque sensor and servo motors are fitted onto a passive arm support, enabling motorized support for a user with upper extremity weaknesses. The exoskeleton may be used on any extremity. The admittance control paradigm includes an impedance control and an admittance control to allow a user with upper extremity weakness and limited independence to intuitively and with minimal force control the precise trajectory of their arms to achieve a greater degree of independence in activities of daily living. Unlike existing passive arm supports that utilize springs or rubber bands to balance the user's arm against gravity, this system provides more precise gravity compensation and minimizes the amount of force required to control the exoskeleton.

Posture correction device
11337888 · 2022-05-24 ·

A posture correcting device using vibration or emitted electrical pulses in a pre-determined time sequence that may be adjusted in timing, intensity or strength, and a device for securing said posture correcting device to a body of a wearer.

System for testing and/or training the vision of a user
11337606 · 2022-05-24 · ·

A system for testing and/or training the vision of a user is disclosed herein. The system includes a motion sensing device, a visual display device having an output screen, and a data processing device operatively coupled to the motion sensing device and the visual display device. In one embodiment, the data processing device is programmed to generate and display a configuration of a visual object on the visual display device during the same cycle of rotational head displacement when the actual head velocity or speed for the user reaches or exceeds a prescribed threshold percentage of the target velocity or speed. In another embodiment, the data processing device is programmed to increase a value of a prescribed amplitude or period for the head rotational displacement of the user for a successive trial of a test or training routine when a peak head velocity or speed is determined to have increased.

EXTERNAL HEAD APPARATUS FOR REDUCING THE TONE OF MASTICATORY MUSCLES IN PATIENTS WITH BRUXISM AND/OR OTHER CRANIOMANDIBULAR DYSFUNCTIONS (CMD)

An improved external head apparatus for reducing the tone of the masticatory muscles in patients with bruxism and/or other craniomandibular dysfunctions (CMD) includes two curved spring-tempered wires and two separate connecting elements. The external head apparatus has a plane of symmetry, which passes through the center of the curved spring-tempered wires. The two separate connecting elements are situated on different sides of the plane of symmetry.

MEDICAL TREATMENT DEVICE AND METHOD FOR STIMULATING NEURONS OF A PATENT TO SUPPRESS A PATHOLOGICALLY SYNCHRONOUS ACTIVITY THEREOF
20230264018 · 2023-08-24 · ·

The present invention pertains to a medical treatment device (10) for stimulating neurons of a patient to suppress a pathologically synchronous activity of the neurons. The device (10) comprises a non-invasive stimulation unit (12) configured for simultaneously administering at least one acoustic stimulus and at least one non-acoustic stimulus to a patient's body, each of which is configured to suppress the pathologically synchronous activity when being administered to the patient's body.

AN EYE GUIDE
20220133580 · 2022-05-05 ·

The present invention relates to an eye guide. The eye guide has an attachment means for locating the eye guide on a wearer and an elongate marker arranged to extend from the attachment means so as to be visible in peripheral field view by the wearer.

ADJUSTABLE BACK PLATE FOR MECHANICAL COMPRESSION DEVICE

Examples of the disclosure are directed to adjustable back plates or backboards for a mechanical compression device to accommodate different patient sizes and/or for ease of storage. Examples of the disclosure includes back plates that can be folded, pieced together, or otherwise have a variable distance between connectors that attach to legs of a chest compression device. Examples also include back plates which may have two sides, such as an adult patient side and a pediatric patient side, to accommodate different patient sizes.
