A chest compression device with a chest compression belt assembly including guards and sensors operable with a control system to control operation of the system depending on detection of proper installation of the guards.
LOWER BODY AND SPINE JOINT MOVING DEVICE FOR RESTORING BODILY BALANCE, AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
The present invention relates to a lower body and spine joint moving device for restoring bodily balance and a control method therefor. A lower body and spine joint moving device for restoring bodily balance according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: a bed which includes a torso supporter for supporting a user's torso and leg supporters for supporting the user's legs; a binding unit which fixes the user to the bed; and an actuator which generates power for extending and contracting the bed, in which each of the leg supporters includes an extending part which supports the user's leg and is extended and contracted in a longitudinal direction, and a curving part which forms a curvature and converts a movement in the longitudinal direction into a rotational motion of the extending part.
AUTOMATED RESUSCITATION SYSTEM INTEGRATING HEMODYNAMIC AND DEFIBRILLATORY CAPABILITIES
An automated resuscitation system is provided, which can improve the outcome of patients suffering ventricular fibrillation or the ventricular tachycardia variants of cardiac arrest. This outcome can be achieved by a device that integrates automatic mechanical or pneumatic capability with electrical countershock capability such that the probability of defibrillation or cardioversion with return of spontaneous circulation is increased.
INFRARED RAY EQUIPMENT FOR ROBOTIC REHABILITATION ON A TREADMILL, HAVING FLEXIBLE PELVIC ATTACHMENT
Rehabilitation device, comprising a motorized tapis roulant, a harness configured to support the weight of the patient; a plurality of infrared light sources, each one directed to light the muscles of a zone of the lower limbs of the patient; a motorized exoskeleton for lower limbs, configured such that it is fastened to the patient femur, tibia and foot and such that it guides his movements while walking in a combined manner with the movement of said tapis roulant; a user interface, arranged in a position visible for the user; a data processing and control unit, configured to control said motorized exoskeleton and said light sources, characterized in that said processing unit is configured to manage an intensity adjusting cycle of said light sources in a differentiated manner for each one of said sources, as a function of the movement cycle imposed by said exoskeleton to the lower limbs.
Magnetic suspension system
A magnetic suspension system for a medical device is provided. The magnetic suspension system comprises a support structure having an area provided with a ferromagnetic characteristic, and a carriage comprising a magnet exerting a magnetic attraction force between the carriage and the support structure. The carriage comprises a friction reducing device and a drive device configured to drive a motion of the carriage upon the support structure in an arbitrary predetermined direction, the drive device being separate from the friction reducing device.
External Structural Brace Apparatus
An external structural brace apparatus for supporting a user in a semi standing position on a surface includes first and second support extension beams that to attach to the surface, also included is a channel having a base with first and second legs, wherein the first and second legs extend in the same direction from opposing sides of the base, the first leg is affixed to the first support structure and the second leg is affixed to the second support structure, the channel can be lockably positioned along the first and second beams. In addition, a saddle seat with a midpoint extension portion, the saddle is attached between the first and second legs and positioned such that the midpoint extension extends opposite of the base, wherein operationally the user partially rests their buttocks on the saddle and leans their back against the base to assume a semi supported standing posture.
WEARABLE HEALTH MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A wearable health management system includes a flexible member configured to be worn on an affected area by a patient. At least one actuator is operably coupled to the flexible member. The at least one actuator is configured to be adjusted between a deployed state and a non-deployed state. At least one of a photoplethysmogram sensor and a bioimpedance sensor is coupled to the flexible member to obtain one or more health metrics from the patient. A controller is in communication with the at least one actuator. The controller is configured to adjust the at least one actuator to the deployed state to provide a selected pressure to the affected area.
Method and apparatus for treatment of cardiopulmonary arrest
A cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) device for performing automatic defibrillation and chest compressions on a patient and method for using same. The CPR device having a balloon configured to inflate/deflate, a belt configured to securely strap around a chest of a patient, a pair of electrode pads configured to deliver shock energy from a shock source, and, optionally, a pulse oximeter sensor. The CPR device is in electrical communication with a CPR defibrillator/ECG computer system that is configured to control the CPR device.
REHABILITATION TRAINING EQUIPMENT AND A REHABILITATION TRAINING SYSTEM
The present disclosure provides a rehabilitation training equipment and a rehabilitation training system. The rehabilitation training equipment includes a driving device, a back placement device, a leg aid device, a cushion device, a first feedback device, and a control device. The driving device is configured to adjust rotation angles between the back placement device, the cushion device, and the leg aid device to achieve a posture training mode selected from a plurality of posture training modes including a standing mode, a sitting-up mode, and a lying mode. The first feedback device is used to obtain core muscle strength parameters of the human body. The control device is electrically connected to the first feedback device and the driving device, and is configured to obtain the core muscle strength parameters and send a control signal to the driving device.
ASSISTED WALKING DEVICE
A stable walking apparatus can be used to allow the elderly, disabled, injured, or infirmed to move for day-to-day activities and exercise. The apparatus supports the individual at an upper body portion, such as under the arms of the user. This allows use of the arms and legs of the individual, such as better balance and move with the device, while also controlling aspects of the device. The support is height adjustable, and also includes a braking system to both slow down and stop the user-apparatus. The braking system can be used with limited extremity functionality for greater use of the apparatus by a wide range of individuals. Swiveling wheels provide for additional functionality to use the device for more purposes and in increased locations.
