NON-FIXED SHOULDER BRACE
A non-fixed shoulder brace is provided comprising: an affected shoulder support which is supported on an affected shoulder of a wearer; a waist support coupled to the wearer's waist; an affected arm mounting part in which the wearer's affected arm is inserted and which is supported by means of an affected shoulder strap member from the affected shoulder support; and an affected upper limb exercise assistance apparatus coupled to both ends of the waist support and disposed between the wearer's waist and the affected arm mounting part.
THERAPEUTIC COMPRESSION APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHODS OF USE
A therapeutic compression system for providing gradient compression to a limb or other body part, including at least one therapeutic compression apparatus having at least one elastic sock or sleeve integral and connected to at least one wrap having at least one bladder and a universal inflation port to connect to an inflation means to the at least one bladder. The connecting means connects the at least one elastic sock or sleeve in one embodiment by buttons inserted and connected into apertures on the at least one wrap. The inflation port has an open and closed mechanism so that when closed it maintains the level of inflation in the at least one bladder. The inflation means provides either constant or varying pressure within the bladder and a check valve is included in the inflation port and/or inflation means. The inflation means may be connected to a stabilization means configured to be attached to a body part of the user or a belt or bag or other means around for example, the shoulder, leg, waist or arm of the body. The inventive therapeutic compression apparatus and system is stabilized and secured on the user when the user moves the target body part.
HIP EXOSKELETON FOR LIFTING AND PUSHING
A hip assist actuation system is configured to allow a user to experience free movement of hip extension and hip flexion over a predetermined range and receive a torque assist in response to performing a lifting or pushing activity. The hip assist actuation system may be configured to determine whether the lifting or pushing activity is occurring and provide the torque assist in response to the determination.
Motion assistance apparatus
A motion assistance apparatus includes a shank frame configured to support a shank of a user, a thigh frame configured to rotate relative to the shank frame and support a thigh of the user, and a driving frame configured to assist a motion of a hip joint of the user by transmitting power directly or indirectly to the shank frame.
LUMBAR RETRACTOR
A lumbar retractor according to an embodiment comprises: a first fixing part for fixing the user's lumbar regions; a second fixing part for fixing the user's pelvic regions; and a connection part disposed between the first fixing part and the second fixing part to connect the first fixing part and the second fixing part, wherein the distance between the first fixing part and the second fixing part can be adjusted by changing the length of the connection part, and the first fixing part can press each of a plurality of segments of the user's lumbar regions individually.
Rehabilitation training system and rehabilitation training evaluation program
The rehabilitation training system includes: an evaluation unit configured to evaluate rehabilitation training performed by a trainee; a storage unit configured to store a plurality of evaluation comments regarding the evaluation; a reception unit configured to receive, from an authorized training assistant, designation of an evaluation comment that is restricted from being presented to a specific trainee among the plurality of evaluation comments; a selection unit configured to select an evaluation comment to be presented to the specific trainee from the plurality of evaluation comments based on the evaluation for the rehabilitation training of the specific trainee that is performed by the evaluation unit and the designation; and a presentation unit configured to present the evaluation comment selected by the selection unit.
SPINE EXERCISE EQUIPMENT
A spine treating apparatus is presented. The apparatus includes a plurality of frames arranged in an x-direction to form a surface, suspension pieces supporting the plurality of frames, a rotator on which the suspension pieces rest, and a motor that turns the rotator about an axis that extends in the x-direction. The rotator has an uneven outer surface such that when the motor turns the rotator, the suspension pieces move according to the contours of the rotator's uneven outer surface. The movement of the suspension pieces treats the back of a patient lying on the surface. A method of treating a user's spine is also presented. The method entails arranging frames to form a surface, providing a suspension piece for each of the frames to support the frames, providing a rotator with an uneven surface to contact the suspension piece, and turning the rotator.
Sensor device and walking assist device using the sensor device
Sensor devices closely attached to a body of a user, and walking assist devices such sensor devices may be provided. For example, a sensor device including a sensor configured to sense physical information of the user, and a support configured to provide an elastic force to the sensor such that the sensor closely attached to the body regardless pf a movement of the user, and enable the sensor to sense the physical information of the user with relative accuracy may be provided.
Knee joint weight-bearing apparatus
The knee joint weight-bearing apparatus includes a buttock attaching part, a lower-leg attaching part, and two thigh connection units. Each thigh connection unit includes a front thigh link and a rear thigh link. The buttock attaching part, the lower-leg attaching part, the front thigh link, and the rear thigh link constitute a four-bar linkage. The buttock attaching part is configured so that when a user applies his/her weight to the buttock attaching part, a tensile force is generated in the front thigh link and a compressive force acts on the rear thigh link. The rear thigh link includes a gas spring that is configured to be stretchable in a longitudinal direction thereof and generates a resistive force against the compressive force.
WEARABLE STIMULATION DEVICE FOR STIMULATING DEEP MUSCLES OF ABDOMEN AND WAIST OF HUMAN BODY
A wearable stimulation device includes a wearable member, a stimulation unit, and a driver. The stimulation unit is secured to the wearable member. The stimulation unit includes an immovable end, a stimulation end, and a power element. The power element is connected between the immovable end and the stimulation end for driving the stimulation end to reciprocate relative to the immovable end. The driver is in signal connection with the power element. The driver is configured to output a vibration signal to the power element for the stimulation end to have a stroke of between 8.8 mm and 10.8 mm, a thrust of between 5.6 N and 7.6 N and a reciprocating frequency of between 180 Hz and 220 Hz, thereby stimulating the deep muscles of the abdomen or waist of a human body without affecting the superficial muscles.
