Assistance apparatus, assistance method, and recording medium
In an assistance apparatus, when assisting a user in walking with an object, a motor generates, in a gait phase of a left leg, a tension less than a second threshold value in a first wire during a fifth period other than a first period during which a tension greater than or equal to a first threshold value is generated in the first wire, and a tension greater than or equal to the second threshold value in a second wire during a sixth period other than a second period during which a tension greater than or equal to the first threshold value is generated in the second wire, and generates, in a gait phase of a right leg, a tension less than the second threshold value in a third wire during a seventh period other than a third period during which a tension greater than or equal to the first threshold value is generated in the third wire, and a tension greater than or equal to the second threshold value in a fourth wire during an eighth period other than a fourth period during which a tension greater than or equal to the first threshold value is generated in the fourth wire.
Posture correction device
A posture correcting device using vibration or emitted electrical pulses in a pre-determined time sequence that may be adjusted in timing, intensity or strength, and a device for securing said posture correcting device to a body of a wearer.
WEARABLE DEVICE AND OPERATING METHOD THEREFOR
A wearable device capable of outputting a torque on a user is provided. The wearable device includes a motor, a motor driver circuit, a communication circuit for receiving movement information about a first user from a server or an electronic device, a frame connected to the motor, and worn on a body part of a second user so as to support the lower body, a sensor, and a processor for controlling the motor driver circuit so that motion information about the second user is obtained using the sensor, the difference between the obtained motion information and the received motion information is calculated, torque strength is determined based on the calculated difference, and a torque of a determined torque strength is output by the motor.
Wearable stimulation device for stimulating deep muscles of abdomen and waist of human body
A wearable stimulation device includes a wearable member, a stimulation unit, and a driver. The stimulation unit is secured to the wearable member. The stimulation unit includes an immovable end, a stimulation end, and a power element. The power element is connected between the immovable end and the stimulation end for driving the stimulation end to reciprocate relative to the immovable end. The driver is in signal connection with the power element. The driver is configured to output a vibration signal to the power element for the stimulation end to have a stroke of between 8.8 mm and 10.8 mm, a thrust of between 5.6 N and 7.6 N and a reciprocating frequency of between 180 Hz and 220 Hz, thereby stimulating the deep muscles of the abdomen or waist of a human body without affecting the superficial muscles.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RECOGNIZING GAIT TASK
Methods and apparatuses for recognizing a gait task, that may detect a gait pattern of a user based on sensed data, generate a gait feature of the gait pattern based on similarities between the gait pattern and similar gait data extracted from each of a plurality of databases, and estimate a gait task corresponding to the gait pattern by applying the gait feature to a desired learning model, may be provided.
ELECTROMAGNETIC BRAKE FOR POWERED MOBILITY ASSISTANCE DEVICE
An electromagnetic brake assembly includes a solenoid coil; a fixed ferrous brake stator; a ferrous armature having a braking face, wherein the armature is moveable in a translation direction relative to the brake stator between a disengaged position and an engaged position; and a rotating member including a mating surface and that rotates relative to the armature when the armature is in the disengaged position. When the solenoid coil is energized, the armature translationally moves from the disengaged position to the engaged position, and in the engaged position the braking face of the armature interacts with the mating surface of the rotating member to apply a braking force to the rotating member. The braking face and the mating surface may form a conical interface, and the conical interface further may include a friction O-ring positioned within a slot that permits the O-ring to roll along the braking interface when the armature moves between the disengaged position and the engaged position.
EXOSKELETON WEARABLE ROBOT
The present disclosure provides an exoskeleton-type wearable robot. The exoskeleton-type wearable robot includes a first fixing unit configured to be worn on the body of the wearer, a first connection unit rotatably connected to the first fixing unit, a second connection unit spaced apart from the first connection unit and connected to the first connection unit via a first link assembly, and a second fixing unit connected to the arm or the leg of the wearer and connected to the second connection unit via a second link assembly.
BIMODAL EXOSUIT
Wearable assistance devices and methods of using the same are disclosed. Embodiments relate to bimodal wearable assistance devices that provide assistance in one mode, and no or reduced assistance in a second mode, for reducing muscle stress, fatigue, injury and/or pain in the lower back or other body segments, and enabling comfortable, free or increased range of motion. Other embodiments relate to interfaces for wearable assistance devices that can loosen/tighten.
Patient Clothing System with Integrated Lifting Features
A clothing system including an upper body garment and a lower body garment. The upper body garment has a neck portion that extends about a central axis from a head of a patient towards to feet of the patient. The upper body garment includes a pair of shoulder coverings, a torso covering, and a plurality of first fasteners. The plurality of first fasteners is configured to be transitioned so that each of the shoulder coverings may be separated to provide access to the upper torso and/or arm of a patient. The lower body garment includes a pair of leg coverings, a rise, an access covering, and a plurality of second fasteners. The rise includes a window spaced apart from a waist retainer positioned at the top of the rise and covered by an access covering selectively retained by the plurality of second fasteners to provide access to the lower body.
