DEVICE FOR THE TREATMENT OF HYDROCEPHALUS
The present invention relates to a device (100) wearable at a user's neck, which device (100) comprises:—a main body (10) provided with movable pushing means (11),—a control unit (20) configured to receive as input data associated with the user's heart rate and to generate a corresponding output signal (20′), wherein said output signal (20) determines a pulsating movement of said pushing means (11) according to the heart rate and wherein said pushing means (11) is positioned so as to compress and decompress the neck at the jugular veins.
Single incapacitated leg body crutch with lateral gait movement
A single incapacitated leg crutch for use by a person with a single incapacitated leg is provided with features for user friendly attachment and release of the crutch. The single incapacitated leg crutch includes features for controlled limitation of lateral and forward gait movement and gait walking stabilization that occurs in natural lateral and forward walking gait motion without a crutch.
HIP EXOSKELETON
An exoskeleton, wherein, comprises a hip mechanism (41). The hip mechanism (41) comprises a left hip (412) and a right hip (413). The left hip (412) and the right hip (413) respectively comprise at least three single-axis mechanisms collaboratively realizing isomorphic motion of the hip mechanism (41) and the hip of the human body.
Methods of Reducing Sleep Disordered Breathing and Structures Formed Therapy
An oral therapy device structure and methods of utilizing said device are described. Embodiments of the oral therapy device structure include a top member and a bottom member, where the top member fits over at least a portion of the upper teeth of a user, and includes one or more partially embedded sensors. The bottom member fits over at least a portion of the bottom teeth of the user. A coupling structure physically joins a portion of the top member to a portion of the bottom member. A mandibular positioning drive (MPD) is at least partially embedded within the bottom member, where the MPD is capable of moving the bottom member from a first position to a second position.
Finger exerciser
A finger exerciser includes: a frame on which a palm of a subject to be put; a movable section; a first fixing element; and a second fixing element. The movable is configured to move a first finger group of a subject. The first fixing element is configured to fix a position of the first finger group to the movable section. The second fixing element is configured to fix a position of a second finger group to the frame and has a band-like member including at least two attachment parts apart from each other in a longitudinal direction of the band-like member. The band-like member is attached to the frame at the attachment parts and includes a holder whose location to the frame is changeable. The band-like member is configured to hold the second finger group in a state where the band-like member is attached to the frame.
Inversion Table with Dual Massagers
An inversion table having a neck massager. The neck massager includes a vibrating feature and may also include a heating feature. The neck massager may be contoured to fit a user's neck and may also include a bendable piece to allow a user to customize the shape of the neck massager. The inversion table also may have a back massager. The back massager may include a vibrating feature and a heating feature.
Walking assistant device deformable based on thigh shape
A walking assistance device deformable based on a thigh shape includes a hip joint actuator, an upper thigh frame connected to the hip joint actuator and configured to receive power from the hip joint actuator and rotate about a first axis and rotate about a second axis intersecting the first axis, a motion frame connected to the upper thigh frame, the motion frame including a plurality of segment frames configured to rotate relative to each other, and a lower thigh frame connected to the motion frame.
EXTERNAL VACUUM TISSUE EXPANDER WITH SLIDABLE RIM
A tissue expander configured to be worn by a user having a shell having an aperture formed within the shell to receive tissue expanded by a distracting force. The shell has a skirt providing a skin contact surface area against the skin of the patient, the aperture defining an aperture surface area, wherein the skin contact surface area is greater than the aperture surface area, and wherein the skirt is non-fixedly attached to the skin of the patient and slides laterally outwardly.
BACK THERAPY APPARATUS
A back-therapy apparatus for vertebral massage comprises at least one first manipulating element (743) comprising a first engagement member (744) and at least one second manipulating element (743) comprising a second engagement member (744). The first and second engagement members (744) are arranged such that, in use, they are each situated on opposite sides of a patient's vertebral column. The first engagement member (744) is operable to contact and manipulate vertebral area between the spinous and transverse processes from one side of the vertebral column and the second engagement member (744) is operable to contact and manipulate the vertebral area between the spinous and transverse processes from the opposite side of the vertebral column. The first and second manipulating elements (743) are operable independently of each other to move the first and second engagement members (744) respectively into and out of contact with the vertebral area between the spinous and transverse processes thereby manipulating rotational movement of the vertebral column.
Massage device for seat
A massage device for a seat includes a pressing portion configured to expand to press a seat occupant seated on the seat, an adjustment portion configured to adjust a position of the pressing portion between the seat occupant and the seat, a deformation detector configured to detect deformation of the seat caused by expansion of the pressing portion, and a controller configured to control the adjustment portion based on a detection result of the deformation detector.
