PORTABLE SECURE PILL DISPENSER WITH FAILSAFE
A medication dispensing and monitoring system of the present invention includes a housing containing an interior for storing and dispensing medication to an authorized patient at a desired time. The invention is programmed to dispense medication at the desired time and activates alarms if the proper procedure is not completed and/or if other undesirable events occur. The invention includes a secondary dispenser as a failsafe to ensure that the patient can obtain a dose of the contained medication in the event of a device malfunction or patient error.
Programable, Refillable Medication Package With Scheduled Metered Dispensing and Med Unit Sensor
A programmable, refillable medication dispenser with scheduled metered medication unit dispensing, includes a main housing, a powered CPU with countdown timer, a multi-unit medication removable refillable cartridge with a (first) lock, a medication release control gate positioned at a medication outlet and connected to a (second) lock being a gate control mechanism, and an in-chamber medication unit sensor. A pharmacist will insert a medicine cartridge into the main housing, locking it in, and will program the CPU to permit a patient to activate dispensing according to a predetermined schedule, and then only when a medication unit is sensed in the chamber. A patient may receive the dispenser and activate medication dispensing according to the programmed schedule and dispense by the timer schedule, only when a medication unit is sensed in the chamber.
Passage device, valve, reception device including same, content movement device, and content device
The present invention relates to a passage device, a valve, a reception device including the same, a content movement device, and a content device. The present invention comprises a passage operation part included in a housing to move and guide contents, wherein the passage operation part comprises a content passage means for moving the contents. Unlike the prior art, the present invention can ensure a content passage space and adjust the passage space and a reception space to prevent reception of contents exceeding a required amount. Further, the present invention can stably induce the passage of a required amount of contents within a predetermined range, and prevent remaining of an excessive amount of contents in conjunction with the limiting of the content reception space, thereby adjusting the amount (number) of received contents.
TECHNOLOGIES FOR MEDICINE DISPENSING
In an apparatus for dispensing, a dispenser includes a housing, a reservoir housed within the housing, a chute in fluid communication with the reservoir, wherein the chute is adjacent to the reservoir, a user input device, a power source housed within the housing, a logic housed within the housing, wherein the power source powers the logic, a motor housed within the housing, wherein the power source powers the motor, wherein the logic controls the motor, a gear train housed within the housing, wherein the motor drives the gear train, a first platform defining an opening, wherein a portion of the first platform abuts a bottom portion of the chute when the dispenser is in a non-dispensing state, and a second platform including a well, wherein the gear train is configured to rotate the second platform relative to the housing, and wherein when the logic sets the dispenser to a dispensing state a position of the well is adjustable relative to the housing via the user input device, such that the well substantially aligns with the chute.
METERING DEVICE
A metering device for a drinking vessel for dispensing a liquid from the drinking vessel, with a control device which detects and/or controls the delivery of the liquid. Furthermore, the invention relates to a drinking bottle having such a metering device. The drinking bottle is particularly suitable for administering a Levodopa suspension for the high-frequency treatment of idiopathic Parkinson's disease.
Method of installing and removing a rotation mechanism within pill dispensing assemblies
A method of installing and removing a rotation mechanism within a plurality of pill dispensing assemblies, the method including installing the rotation mechanism in a first pill dispensing assembly of the plurality of pill dispensing assemblies, removing the rotation mechanism from the first pill dispensing assembly, and installing the rotation mechanism in a second pill dispensing assembly of the plurality of pill dispensing assemblies.
SECURE SMART CONTAINER ASSEMBLY, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
A bin assembly, bin identification system and method are disclosed. A container bin assembly includes a bin body, a latching mechanism, and controller. A method includes receiving, via a communication interface, an authenticated request to access the smart container, actuating an electromechanical latch to disengage a fastening hook, thereby initiating a mechanical movement of an access component to make an internal compartment accessible, outputting, via an audiovisual element, an alert to identify the container, confirming that the electromechanical latch has re-engaged with the fastening hook, thereby securing the internal compartment, determining a change in a local inventory, and updating the local inventory in a non-volatile data store according to the change.
MEDICATION INTELLIGENT DEVICE
A medical intelligent device is for use with a medical jar. The medical jar defines an accommodating space for containing at least one medicine. The medication intelligent device includes a cover and an auxiliary medicine deliver. The cover is detachably mounted on the medical jar. The auxiliary medicine deliver is disposed on the cover and includes a main control chip and a medicine delivery gate electrically connected to the main control chip. The main control chip is used to move the gate between a closed position and an opened position relative to the cover. In the closed position, the medicine delivery gate closes the accommodating space. In the opened position, the medicine delivery gate opens the accommodating space.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTOMATED PROGRAMMABLE DISPENSING OF MEDICATION
In a medication dispensing system, pills of different medications are stored in different chambers of a pill bottle. An assembly of a non-moving disc having holes corresponding to each chamber, a rotatable disc having a hole for dispensing pills therethrough, and a motor, dispenses the pills according to a prescribed schedule. The motor controls the rotations of the rotatable disc according to a user-specified schedule.
Medication dispensing system
A medication dispensing system is provided with several cooperating components which help to accommodate the responsible handling of medications. These systems include a user interface to receive input from the user and to present appropriate information/notices/alarms. Further, physical controls and multiple sensors are provided to detect tampering, misuse, and attempts to inappropriately access medications contained within the dispensing system. This misuse can thus be detected, and appropriate notifications can be provided, where appropriate. Further, by adding network communications capabilities, notices can be widely communicated to others, and operation of the medication dispensing system can be controlled and/or monitored remotely.
