PHARMACEUTICAL PACKAGING AND METHOD FOR DELIVERY OF SAME
A disease management system including: a Diagnostic Module, which provides access to patient information and scientific guidelines for patient treatment; a Diagnostic Interpretive Module, which provides tools to evaluate risk of particular diseases or conditions based on patient information and an evaluative methodology; a Prescriptive Module, which is used to recommend, select, and/or evaluate one or more treatment regimens based on patient information and guidelines; a Dispensing Module, which evaluates a patient's compliance with a treatment regimen; and/or a Feedback and Patient Management Module, which gathers compliance information and evaluates efficacy of a treatment regimen for a patient. In embodiments of the subject invention, some or all of the modules described can communicate to manage a disease, medical condition, and/or health problem in a patient.
INTEGRATED DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR DRUG DISPENSING
In one embodiment, a device includes a plurality of vials each bearing a unique identifier and in discrete locations in the device and an alignment assembly for aligning one of the discrete locations with an access point for dispensing one of the plurality of vials. Computer instructions select a vial of the plurality of vials to be dispensed and inventory information of the plurality of vials is stored, including unique identifiers and a status for each vial. Instructions can deactivate dispensing of the vials based on a signal from an environmental sensor. A deactivation assembly deactivates dispensing of the vials based on the instructions.
Container with content monitoring and reporting capabilities
An activity monitor is associated with a container, such as a medication bottle, and includes one or more detectors configured to detect activity associated with the bottle, such as movement, opening and/or closing, and changes in volume and/or mass. The activity monitor may include alerting devices and be programmed with scheduling information. The activity monitor may also, or instead, be part of a system and communicate with one or more remote devices such as a user device or monitoring system, such as to receive programming information from those devices or to output activity information to those devices.
MEDICATION SUPPORT DEVICE
A medication support device includes a container to store a plurality of medicine packs, a medicine dispenser in which a specific one of the plurality of medicine packs is arranged to a prescribed position, a pickup device to pick up a specific one of the plurality of medicine packs from the container, a conveyor to convey the specific one of the plurality of medicine packs picked up from the container, a medication-related information reader to read medication-related information of the plurality of medicine packs including at least a name of a patient who takes a medicine and a time of medication, a pack data management system to manage the medication-related information of the plurality of medicine packs, and a medicine dispensing data management system to read and manage medicine dispensing data including at least the name of the patient who takes the medicine and the time of medication.
MEDICATION DELIVERY
A system for medication delivery includes: a medication dispensing device arranged to deliver a medication package containing a predefined dose of medication to a patient at a preset time; a medication distribution system arranged to distribute the medication packages containing the predefined doses of medication to the medication dispensing device; at least one sensing arrangement arranged in the same premises as the medication dispensing device and arranged to measure at least one patient specific parameter for said patient; at least one processor arranged to process the at least one patient specific parameter and notify the medication distribution system if the at least one patient specific parameter is determined to deviate from an expected range. The medication distribution system may accordingly adjust the dose of medication distributed to the medication dispensing device.
Programmable pill dispensing device and methods of use
A programmable pill dispensing device, system, and methods are provided. A programmable pill dispensing device may be used to automatedly dispense a pill, such as a prescription medication, at a programmed predetermined time.
Optimization of medicines delivery
Embodiments for scheduling the delivery of multiple medications to a patient by a processor. Any interactions between the multiple medications or between one of the multiple medications and a type of food are considered to construct an analytical model to identify an optimized schedule for delivery of the multiple medications to the patient. The optimized schedule is adjusted in real time as additional information concerning the multiple medications and the type of food are introduced, and delivered to a dispensing device associated with the one of the multiple medications.
Smart bottle system and methods thereof
This invention relates to smart bottle system that informs the user through a display, the time and date that the contents are to be taken. More specifically, the smart bottle system provides an information to the user/patient, the time to take medication and inform the caregiver, physician, pharmacy personnel, or patient/users of missed doses, the profile, and/or the health condition of the patient/user. The bottle system may track the dosses remaining in the bottle, and inform the caregiver or patient/user, or pharmacy personnel the time to get a refill of the medication. The system can able to compute the profile and/or health condition of the users, based on the medication intake, and/or missed, or users image, and can communicate with the persons located remotely by sending/receiving information.
THERAPEUTIC HUB
A disease management system and therapeutic hub are provided. In certain embodiments, a dispensing apparatus used as part of a compliance monitoring system for the disease management system can function as a therapeutic hub that interacts with a plurality of peripheral devices to accumulate, communicate, and analyze a variety of medical and non-medical related data of the patient.
