ANTIMICROBIAL ADHESIVE COMPOSITION WITH COPPER NANOPARTICLES FOR DENTURES
The present invention concerns a new antimicrobial denture adhesive composition useful to be used for fixing dentures, which includes copper nanoparticles (CuNPs) that provides antimicrobial properties against dental pathogens such as Candida albicans, Streptococcus mutans, Staphylococcus aureus and Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans. Surprisingly, the composition for a denture adhesive comprising copper nanoparticles (CuNPs) not only shown excellent antimicrobial properties, but also improved adhesive properties in comparison with other denture adhesives existing currently in the marked, which do not contain said CuNPs.

Glass ionomer compositions and methods including inorganic fibers
Disclosed herein are curable glass ionomer compositions that include a first paste and a second paste, and methods for using the disclosed compositions. The first paste includes water, a polyacid, and a non acid-reactive filler. The second paste includes water and an acid-reactive filler. At least one of the first paste and the second paste further includes substantially crystalline inorganic fibers. In some embodiments, the water content of the first paste and the second paste of the paste/paste GI composition disclosed herein is less than 20% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition.

Low water-sensitive dental composition
An object of the present disclosure is to provide a dental composition that can exhibit sufficient curability even in a state where moisture is excessive as in the oral environment. The dental composition of the present disclosure contains component (a): monomer containing (meth)acrylamide group represented by formula (1): ##STR00001##
(In formula, R represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group and Rs may be the same or different from each other. R2 is an alkyl group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms and R2s may be the same or different from each other.)
