APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR USING EFFERVESCENT TABLETS FOR COSMETIC CARE
An apparatus and method for providing cosmetic treatment to skin comprise one material chemically active in a solid form preferably in a tablet form and a second material which is chemically reactive with the first material so that effervescence is produced during the reaction. The chemically active materials may be activated by a user for providing cosmetic treatment to skin. The activation releases effervescence which urges granules of the reacting materials onto the skin. The size of the granules lowers during the reaction thus providing continuously refining peeling to the skin.
Oral Powder Mixture With Small Sized Particles
A powder mixture for oral delivery of active ingredients includes a population of particles and one or more active ingredients, the population of particles including at least two types of sugar alcohol particles. At least one of the at least two types of sugar alcohol particles takes the form of i) non-directly compressible (non-DC) sugar alcohol particles or ii) directly compressible (DC) sugar alcohol particles that are not granulated sugar alcohol particles. At least one of the at least two types of sugar alcohol particles has a particle size with more than 50% of the particles being below 250 microns, and at least one of the at least two types of sugar alcohol particles is present in an amount of at least 20% by weight of the powder mixture.
Granulated hair dye composition
It is provided a granulated hair dye composition, a poultice obtained with it, a method for preparing it and a method for dyeing thereof. The granulated hair dye composition comprises a natural hair dyeing agent, a natural thickening agent, and optionally a direct dye, wherein the natural dyeing agent is coated with the natural thickening agent, thereby forming granules. It is provided a dust-free composition, comprising fewer materials than conventional non-oxidative hair dyeing compositions, and mostly from natural origin, that could be easily mixed with water and applied onto hair as a poultice with limited or no dripping, while providing an improved user's dyeing experience and an even dyeing of hair, without comprising shine and hair feel.
ORAL CARE COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING RHAMNOLIPIDS
Oral care compositions that contain a particular mixture of mono-rhamnolipids and di-rhamnolipids are disclosed. The compositions have antimicrobial efficacy against oral microbes, such as P. gingivalis, S. mutans, and C. rectus. Also disclosed is a method for treating or preventing gingivitis in a subject. Also disclosed is a method for preventing growth of microorganisms as biofilm and/or reducing a population of microorganisms present as biofilm in the oral cavity of a subject.
Powder Granules, and Cosmetic Preparation and Cleansing Preparation
Provided are powder granules containing (A) a powder component and (C) ethylcellulose, wherein the powder component (A) is (A-1) an amino acid derivative, which is lauroyl lysine or caproyl lysine, and wherein a content of the amino acid derivative (A-1) is 80 to 95% by mass, and a content of the ethylcellulose (C) is 1 to 10% by mass.
Carboxylic acid loaded salt carrier and the method for producing thereof
A solid compound prepared as a powder that exhibits good flowability and having a specific structure is provided. The solid compound contains a carrier carboxylic acid salt and a loaded carboxylic acid, wherein the pKa of the corresponding carboxylic acid of the carrier carboxylic acid is lower than or equal to the pKa of the loaded carboxylic. The loaded carboxylic acid is physisorbed within the structure of the carrier carboxylic acid salt, and wherein the water content of the solid compound is less than 2 equivalents of water relative to the carrier carboxylic acid. Processes and pharmaceutical compositions containing the solid compound are also provided.

A solid cosmetic that has an excellent glossy feeling, excellent adhesion, and excellent storage stability and provides an excellent sensation when used. The solid cosmetic contains (a) diphenylsiloxy phenyl trimethicone, (b) a hydrogenated polyisobutene that is soluble with component (a), (c) at least one of isotridecyl isononanoate, isononyl isononanoate, triethylhexanoin, ethylhexyl palmitate, caprylic/capric triglyceride, neopentyl glycol dicaprate, diisostearyl malate, mineral oil, polyglyceryl polyisostearate, and sorbitan sesquiisostearate, and (d) wax.
