An aerosol cosmetic composition is provided that includes an oil soluble gloss enhancing film forming component, a solvent, a colorant, a propellant, and useful for application to hair or skin. An aerosol dispensing system and a method of preparing an aerosol sprayable color composition are also provided.

The present disclosure provides a formulation comprising a fluoroolefin, an amine neutralizer, a fixative polymer, and a solvent. The formulation may be trans-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (HFO-1234ze(E)), and the amine neutralizer may be triethanolamine (TEA), triisopropanolamine (TIPA), or a mixture thereof. The formulation may be suitable for use as a personal care product, such as a hair spray.

A hair care composition providing improved in-use wet feel. The composition can contain from about 20% to about 45%, by weight, of a detersive surfactant, from about 0.01% to about 2.5%, by weight, of a cationic synthetic polymer, and from about 0.01% to about 2.5%, by weight, of a cationic guar polymer. The hair care composition can produce a final rinse friction of from about 600 gf to about 2000 gf and a delta final to initial from about 100 gf to about 600 gf. The hair care composition can be applied to the hair when it is dispensed from an aerosol foam dispenser as a foam.

The present invention is directed to a foaming composition comprising: from about 18% to about 36% of one or more anionic surfactants; from 0 0.1 to about 5% of one or more viscosity modifiers with a molecular weight of from about 38 to about 2800; from about 0.1 to about 10% of an anti-dandruff particulate; from about 1% to about 10% of a blowing agent, and wherein the foam density is from about 0.05 to about 0.25 g/ml.

Disclosed are personal care formulations for delivery to the skin of a person in the form of an aerosol comprising: (1) non-propellant components comprising at least one active ingredient in the form of finely divided particles, at least one hydrophobized clay, a hydrophobic carrier comprising trans-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (trans-1233zd) and at least one co-carrier wherein: (i) the weight ratio of said trans-1233zd:co-carrier is from about 0.25:1 to about 4:1; (ii) said trans-1233zd and said co-carrier together comprise at least about 40% by weight of said hydrophobic carrier.

Disclosed are methods of applying a leave-on personal care treatment products comprising: a) providing a container having a nozzle or opening for selectively releasing the contents thereof: b) including in the container a leave-on personal care formulation comprising: (i) an active component for affecting the personal care of the user; (ii) a carrier for the active component, said carrier comprising at least about 50% by weight of trans-HCFO-1233zd and optionally a co-carrier in amounts of up to about 50% by weight; and c) spraying said leave-on personal care formulation from the container and onto the area of the user to be treated.

Described herein is dosage of foam including from about 5 cm.sup.3 to about 70 cm.sup.3 of the foam. The foam includes from about 0.5 g to about 4 g of a detersive surfactant; from about 0.001 g to about 4 g propellant; a foam density of from about 0.02 g/cm.sup.3 to about 0.25 g/cm.sup.3; and a bubble size distribution having an R.sub.32 of from about 5 μm to about 150 μm.

Disclosed are personal care formulations, personal care methods and personal care devices that comprise or use a gel, lotion, cream or the like comprising (a) one or more active ingredients for providing a beneficial effect to the skin and/or hair and/or mucous membranes of a human and (b) from about 1 percent by weight to about 50 percent by weight of foam forming component(s) comprising trans-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (1233zd(E).

A spray composition for hair styling includes a styling resin and a solvent. The solvent includes a hydrofluoroolefin having a boiling point of 5 to 40° C. and an alcohol.

The present invention is directed to a foaming composition comprising from about 5% to about 13% total surfactant of one or more anionic surfactants; from 0.1% to about 2% of a surfactant soluble antidandruff active; from about 3% to about 15% of a blowing agent, wherein the foaming composition is at a pH of about 3.5 to 6.5.
