HAIR COMPOSITIONS IN A FOAM FORM PROVIDING IMPROVED IN-USE WET FEEL

A foamed care composition providing improved in-use wet feel. The composition can contain from about 4% to about 45%, by weight, of a detersive surfactant and from about 0.4% to about 2.5%, by weight, of a cationic synthetic polymer. The hair care composition can produce a final rinse friction of from about 600 gf to about 2000 gf.

HAIR COMPOSITIONS PROVIDING IMPROVED IN-USE WET FEEL

A hair care composition providing improved in-use wet feel. The composition can contain from about 20% to about 45%, by weight, of a detersive surfactant, from about 0.01% to about 2.5%, by weight, of a cationic synthetic polymer, and from about 0.01% to about 2.5%, by weight, of a cationic guar polymer. The hair care composition can produce a final rinse friction of from about 600 gf to about 2000 gf and a delta final to initial from about 100 gf to about 600 gf. The hair care composition can be applied to the hair when it is dispensed from an aerosol foam dispenser as a foam.

The present invention relates, e.g., to a system for treating damaged skin, comprising a cosmeceutical formulation comprising about 1-10% of a mixture of perfluorocarbons (PFC's) of at least three different molecular weights, and about 0.001-5% hyaluronic acid (HA) of molecular weight about 100 kDa or less, packaged in an aerosol spray container.

PERSONAL CARE COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS COMPRISING TRANS-1-CHLORO-3,3,3-TRIFLUOROPROPENE AND TRANS-1,3,3,3-TETRAFLUOROPROPENE

A method of treating human skin, hair and/or mucous membranes using a personal care composition in the form of a stable oil-in-water emulsion comprising: (i) a continuous aqueous phase comprising water; (ii) a discontinuous oil phase comprising trans-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and/or trans-1-3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene and when present together are present in a trans1233zd:trans1234ze weight ratio of from about 1:18 to less than about 8:1; and (iii) an emulsifier, which may be present in the continuous and/or discontinuous phase, comprising (a) a non-ionic emulsifier having an HLB of from about 7 to about 19; and/or (b) a polymeric emulsifier.

Skin Rejuvenation and Defense Systems and Methods
20180169002 · 2018-06-21 ·

A skin defense system and a skin rejuvenation and defense system. The skin rejuvenation and defense system includes a skin rejuvenation application and a skin defense application that work together synergistically to rejuvenate and defend the skin from environmental insults that can accelerate the aging process and deprive the skin of its vitality. The skin rejuvenation application invigorates, oxygenates, and detoxifies the skin. After the skin has been opened up and made receptive by the skin rejuvenation application, the skin defense application absorbs into the skin to deeply moisturize and revitalize the skin. In addition to moisturizers, emollients, and similar ingredients that improve health and appearance of the skin, the skin defense application includes ingredients that can, for instance, reverse and protect the skin from damage caused by pollutants (e.g., pollutants up to 2.5 micrometers) and pre- and pro-biotics that promote the growth and development of beneficial skin flora.

Method of Conditioning the Hair

Described herein is a method of conditioning the hair, the method including providing a hair care composition, adding a hydrofluoropropene to the hair care composition at a concentrated hair care composition to hydrofluoropropene weight ratio of from about 85:15 to about 98:2 to create a pressurized hair care composition, dispensing the pressurized hair care composition from an aerosol dispenser as a foam, applying the foam to the hair, and rinsing the foam from the hair. The hair care composition includes from about 0.5% to about 18% silicone, less than 8% high melting point fatty compound, and less than 5% cationic surfactant. The hair care composition has a viscosity of from about 1 centipoise to about 15,000 centipoise. The hair care composition has a high melting point fatty compound to silicone weight ratio of from about 0 to about 50:50.

Agent and method for temporarily deforming keratin-containing fibers

Cosmetic agents for temporarily deforming keratinic fibers and methods for temporarily deforming keratinic fibers using the cosmetic agents are provided. In an embodiment, a cosmetic agent comprises: a) a cosmetic preparation comprising: a1) at least one copolymer comprising at least the following monomer units: (meth)acrylic acid; (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester; and (meth)acrylic acid hydroxy alkyl ester; and a2) at least one copolymer comprising at least the following monomer units: styrene; and acrylic acid and/or methacrylic acid, wherein the proportion by weight of copolymers a1) and a2) in the total weight of the cosmetic preparation is about 10 to about 30% by weight.
