Organic peroxide dispersions
11560535 · 2023-01-24 · ·

Evaporation of water from an aqueous dispersion of a solid peroxide such as benzoyl peroxide is retarded by the incorporation of carboxylic acid salt. The carboxylic acid salt renders the aqueous dispersion less susceptible to explosive decomposition when exposed to external triggering events such as impact, heat, friction or contamination, yet does not interfere with the ability to achieve and maintain a stable, small particle size dispersion having desirable viscosity and flow properties.

HAIR COSMETIC COMPOSITION

A hair cosmetic composition containing or being prepared by blending a component (A), a component (B), and a component (C) below: component (A): a cationic surfactant, component (B): an amphoteric surfactant, and component (C): one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of a nonionic surfactant (C1), a modified silicone having a cationic group (C2), and a sugar alcohol having 4 or more carbon atoms (C3), having a mass ratio [(B)/(A)] of 0.4 or more and 5 or less, having a content of a higher alcohol of 0.1% by mass or less, and being used by filling up a non-gas type foam discharge container, and hair cosmetics using the hair cosmetic composition are provided.

Cosmetic compositions for removing makeup and methods thereof

Cosmetic compositions including about 0.1 to about 3 wt. % of a cationic surfactant grafted halloysite compound; about 0.5 to about 10 wt. % of a nonionic surfactant, a cationic surfactant, or a mixture thereof; and water, wherein all weight percentages are based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. Methods of making and using the cosmetic compositions are also disclosed.

HAIR CLEANSING AGENT COMPOSITION, KIT, AND HAIR CLEANSING METHOD
20230013856 · 2023-01-19 · ·

The present invention provides a hair cleansing composition comprising an anionic surfactant, a cationic polymer, a dialkyl ether, and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a compound represented by the general formula R.sup.a—O-(AlkO).sub.m—R.sup.b and a polyoxypropylene polyglyceryl ether. The hair cleansing composition has a low viscosity at low temperatures and is thereby convenient to use. In addition, the hair cleansing composition maintains basic performance (e.g., good foam quality and good foam quantity) at low temperatures, and provides sufficient smoothness when scrubbing or rinsing hair.

The hair cleansing composition according to the present invention can be provided, together with a foam discharge device, as a kit, and is applicable to a method for hair cleansing.
