Systems and methods are operable to secure a coiled portion of an electrical cord, a cable, or a rope. An exemplary embodiment has a coil securing portion with an interior surface, a collapsing portion joined with the coil securing portion, and a means for securing the coil retainer in a collapsed position. The coil securing portion and the collapsing portion cooperatively define a substantially tubular interior region and an opening, wherein the interior region is configured to receive a coil portion inserted through the opening when the coil retainer is in an open position. The coiled portion is frictionally secured by the interior surface of the coil securing portion when the coil retainer is secured in the collapsed position.

Boot band

Provided is a boot band that is configured for preventing the occurrence of buckling in the inner-layer portion of a band body. In the boot band, by applying a diameter-reducing tightening force on the band body when an engagement pawl of an inner-layer portion of the band body has entered a top-end engagement hole of an outer-layer portion of the band body, the top-end engagement hole rides over the engagement pawl. Buckling is prevented by providing, at the area of the top-end engagement hole opposite where the engagement pawl enters therein, a guide that faces the engagement pawl.

Hair Clamping Device

A hair clamping device includes a clamping member and a stretching member. The clamping member is a flexible arcuate member including first and second engaging ends releasably engaged with each other. The clamping member is in an extended state when the first and second engaging ends disengage from each other. The clamping member is in a clamping state when the first and second ends engage with each other. The clamping member in the clamping state defines an annular through-hole in a central portion thereof. The stretching member has an outer diameter smaller than a diameter of the through-hole of the clamping member in the clamping state. The stretching member includes an outer surface connected to an inner face of the clamping member. A hair clamping slot is defined between the inner face of the clamping member and the outer surface of the stretching member in the clamping state.
