Coupling and uncoupling apparatus with lockable mechanism for bags and packages
A coupling and uncoupling apparatus for closing a bag or a package in the form of a clamp. The clamp has a latching assembly for closing the bag or package. The clamp can have at least one lock assembly. The at least one lock assembly is configured so that if breached or missing can be reasonably be expected to provide visible evidence that tampering has occurred. The clamp has a passage configured for a bag neck to pass through. The latching assembly may have two long complementary members, one on each arm that latch when closed or a plurality of short complementary latching members pairs disposed on each arm that latch when closed. this coupling and uncoupling apparatus is suitable not just for closing and sealing food bags and packages, but also for sealing tubing such as used in medical applications, as well as coupling and uncoupling wiring and cords.

Container, such as a bag or a leather article, comprising a clasp
A container includes a pair of flaps, which can be brought close to one another, one of the flaps having a buttonhole; and a clasp designed to get through the buttonhole. The clasp includes an anchoring portion, which is fixed to the other one of the flaps; a wide portion, which is designed to prevent the clasp from moving apart from the buttonhole; and an intermediate connection portion, connected, through a pair of hinges, to the anchoring portion and to the wide portion, respectively. The wide portion and the anchoring portion are configured to rotate relative to the intermediate portion, so that the clasp is able to assume a plurality of operating conditions. The buttonhole is designed to interact with the clasp based on the operating condition assumed by the clasp, allowing the flaps or walls be brought close to one another or preventing them from moving apart.
RESEALABLE BAG WITH CUTTING MECHANISM
A sealing and cutting assembly for engaging a bag to cut and reseal the bag comprises a first sealing strip and a second sealing strip connected at corresponding ends thereof and engaging both sides the bag therebetween. A slider block is movable along the first sealing strip and the second sealing strip. Movement of the slider block in a first direction bringing the first sealing strip and the second sealing strip into sealing engagement with one another to seal the bag, and movement of the slider block in a second direction releasing the first sealing strip and the second sealing strip from said sealing engagement to open the bag. A cutting mechanism mounted on the slider block, wherein the cutting mechanism moves with the slider block along the first sealing strip and the second sealing strip.
Resealable bag with cutting mechanism
A combination sealing and cutting assembly for a bag comprises a first sealing strip and a second sealing strip. The first sealing strip and second sealing strip are connected at their corresponding ends. A slider block is movable along the first sealing strip and the second sealing strip. Movement of the slider block in a first direction brings the first sealing strip and the second sealing strip into sealing engagement with one another while movement of the slider block in a second direction releases the first sealing strip and the second sealing from said sealing engagement. A cutting mechanism is mounted on the slider block and moves with the slider block along the first sealing strip and the second sealing strip.
CLASP FOR A CONTAINER, SUCH AS A BAG OR A LEATHER ARTICLE
A clasp for a container includes an anchoring portion fixed to a flap or wall of the container. A wide portion prevents the clasp from moving apart from a buttonhole. An intermediate connection portion rotatably connects through hinges to the anchoring portion and the wide portion. The wide portion and the anchoring portion are configured to rotate relative to the intermediate portion, so that the clasp assumes: a compact condition, in which the wide portion and the anchoring portion are close and on opposite sides relative to the intermediate connection portion; an extended condition, in which the wide portion is aligned relative to the intermediate connection portion, allowing the clasp to move through the buttonhole; a closing condition, in which the wide portion and the anchoring portion are spaced apart, the wide portion being transverse to the intermediate connection portion, preventing the clasp from moving out of the buttonhole.
RECLOSABLE CONTAINER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A reclosable bag has first and second walls and an open top defined by first and second elongate flexible fastener strips adjacent the top of the walls. One fastener strip has a profile portion forming a groove and a portion forming a rib. A portion of the rib is received and retained in the groove when the bag top is closed. Each fastener strip has a base connected to the respective wall. A slider is mounted on the strips and movable in one direction to open the bag, and in the opposite direction to close the bag. A separator, located in the slider, extends downwardly into the space between the top of the slider and the upper edges of the fastener strips. A pair of flanges extend outwardly from the bag walls, one on each wall. The flanges are disposed parallel to the top of the walls, and substantially below the fastener strips, the flanges being sized, constructed and arranged for retention within the slider.
Pool cleaner debris bag
A pool cleaner debris bag is provided having an open end adapted to receive debris from the pool and a closable end defining at least one discharge passage for the bag. The pool cleaner further comprises a securing apparatus disposed along at least a portion of the closable end. For example, the securing apparatus can have at least two separable members selectively movable between an unsecured position to permit opening of the discharge passage, and a secured position having at least a portion of the first end is disposed between the at least two separable members to permit closing of the discharge passage. In addition or alternatively, the debris bag can comprise a seam disposed at a location spaced apart from the open end for defining at least one discharge passage for the bag. In addition or alternatively, the securing apparatus can comprise a clasp.
Hair Clamping Device
A hair clamping device includes a clamping member and a stretching member. The clamping member is a flexible arcuate member including first and second engaging ends releasably engaged with each other. The clamping member is in an extended state when the first and second engaging ends disengage from each other. The clamping member is in a clamping state when the first and second ends engage with each other. The clamping member in the clamping state defines an annular through-hole in a central portion thereof. The stretching member has an outer diameter smaller than a diameter of the through-hole of the clamping member in the clamping state. The stretching member includes an outer surface connected to an inner face of the clamping member. A hair clamping slot is defined between the inner face of the clamping member and the outer surface of the stretching member in the clamping state.
