The process comprises preparing a first agent (A) by reacting one or more aminoalkyl-C.sub.1-C.sub.6 alkoxysilanes (a1) with water (a2), preparing a second agent (B) by reacting one or more alkyl-C.sub.1-C.sub.6 alkoxysilanes (b1) with water (b2), and mixing together the first agent (A) and the second agent (B), thereby preparing the cosmetic composition. A cosmetic composition prepared by the process, as well as a method of using the cosmetic composition for treating keratinous material (e.g. coloring human hair) are also disclosed.
METHOD FOR DYEING KERATINOUS MATERIAL, COMPRISING THE USE OF AN ORGANOSILICON COMPOUND, A COLORED EFFECT PIGMENT AND A FILM-FORMING POLYMER II
A process and a kit-of-parts for dyeing keratinous material such as human hair are provided. An exemplary process includes applying an agent (a) to the keratinous material. The agent (a) includes (a1) at least one organic silicon compound. The method further includes applying an agent (b) to the keratinous material. The agent (b) includes (b1) at least one coloring compound comprising at least one effect pigment comprising a substrate platelet and a coating. The coating includes at least one layer wet-chemically prepared using a metal alkoxide and an organosilicon compound having a basic group. The agent (b) further includes (b2) at least one film-forming polymer.
COMPOSITION FOR SKIN EXTERNAL APPLICATION
A composition for external preparation for skin includes (A) from 1 to 30 mass % of a polymer having a silicone structure in which a ratio of deformation 0.3 or more and 1 or less, and in a bend resistance test using a cylindrical mandrel method, the minimum diameter of a cylindrical mandrel which causes no cracks in the polymer film is 2 mm or more and 25 mm or less; (B) a volatile oil having a volatilization rate of 14% or more after drying at 1 atmosphere, 40° C., and R.H. of 60% for 30 minutes; and (C) a powder comprising from 0.1 to 30 mass % of at least an inorganic powder having a refractive index of from 1.3 to 1.8. The mass ratio of the component (A) to the component (C), (A)/(C), is from 1 to 50.
MINERAL SUNSCREEN COMPOSITIONS WITH HIGH SPF AND SHELF STABILITY
A sunscreen composition is an oil-in-water emulsion of aqueous and oil phases and includes at least one lipophilic acrylate-based oil thickener, at least one mineral UV filter, and at least one nonionic surfactant that is a polyethylene glycol ethers of fatty acids or polyethylene glycol esters of fatty acids, or a combination thereof. The sunscreen composition may also include one or a combination of ingredients selected from the group consisting of solvents, SPF boosters, humectants, skin care actives, oils, waxes, thickeners, preservatives, pH adjusters, chelating agents, viscosity adjusters, cooling agents, fillers, fragrances, dyes, pigments, and combinations thereof. The sunscreen composition has an SPF in a range from about 30 to about 55 and exhibits phase stability and processibility.
DILUTE LONG-WEARING COSMETIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING MIXED SENSORY MODIFIERS
An anhydrous composition including at least one silicone film former; a spherical mineral particulate, at least one silicone elastomer; at least one colorant; and at least about 60% by weight of at least one solvent is provided. The at least one silicone film former and the at least one colorant are both present in a concentration by weight such that the ratio of the concentration by weight of the at least one silicone film former to the concentration by weight of the at least one colorant is at least about 3:1.
Moisturizing cream and lotion
Personal care composition having superior moisturizing, slipperiness and evacuation rate properties are disclosed.
COMPOSITION FOR KERATIN FIBERS
The present invention relates to a composition for treating keratin fibers, preferably hair, comprising: (a) at least one silicone oil in an amount of 20% by weight or more relative to the total weight of the composition; (b) water; and (c) at least one polyol in an amount of 10% by weight or more relative to the total weight of the composition, wherein the ratio of the amount of the (b) water/the amount of the (c) polyol is 3 or less. The composition according to the present invention can also provide keratin fibers such as hair with improved cosmetic effects such as smoothness (e.g., smooth combing even if the keratin fibers are wet, and smooth feeling to touch when the keratin fibers are dry), ease of running fingers through the keratin fibers even if the keratin fibers are wet, moist feeling even if the keratin fibers are dry, less stickiness (or less greasy) on hair when the keratin fibers are dry, and volume down control (therefore, it can be easy to style the shape of keratin fibers, due to anti-fizz properties of the composition according to the present invention).
