Provided herein is an oral care composition comprising an antioxidant and a surfactant system, wherein the surfactant system comprises sodium methyl cocoyl taurate in an amount of from 0.7 weight % to 1.2 weight % by total weight of the composition and optionally, a poloxamer in an amount of from 0.4 to 1.2 weight % by total weight of the composition. The personal care compositions may include from about 0.1 to about 5 wt. % of an anti-dandruff agent comprising dipotassium glycyrrhizate; from about 6 to about 30 wt. % of a surfactant system; from about 0.1 to about 5 wt. % of a cationic polymer, wherein the personal care composition has a pH of about 2.5 to about 5 and all weight percentages are based on the total weight of the personal care composition. The surfactant system typically comprises from about 5 to about 20 wt. % of an anionic surfactant, from about 0.5 to about 7 wt. % of an amphoteric surfactant, and optionally, from about 0.5 to about 7 wt. % of a non-ionic surfactant.
