Magnetic clasp animal leash assembly
A magnetic clasp animal leash assembly for connecting to an animal collar having at least one metallic leash attachment ring defining an aperture. The assembly having a first member and a second member moveable with respect to one another between a closed position and an open position. The two members have an internal surface creating an aperture in a closed state. Outer ends of the two members are spaced from one another creating a clear passage with respect to the internal surface defining the aperture in an opened state. A magnet is located opposite from the clear passage proximate to the internal surface of the aperture. An actuator assembly is engageable with the two members to drive the two members toward the open position.
Signal-activated lingerie
A lingerie comprises an upper panel, a lower panel, and a signal-activated fastener. The upper panel is generally oriented horizontally and the lower panel is generally oriented vertically with respect to a wearer's body. The upper panel includes a first strap and a second strap and the lower panel includes one or more frontal straps and a back strap. The signal-activated fastener is coupled with one end of the first strap and one end of the second strap, the first ends of the one or more frontal straps are coupled with the upper panel, one end of the back strap is coupled with one the first strap and second strap, and the signal-activated fastener is responsive to a signal and operative to unfasten causing the lingerie to fall off from the wearer's body.
Clothing clip apparatus and method for using same
A nursing apparatus is configured to hold a garment in a gathered position to expose a breast for nursing. The apparatus has a strap with a first end and a second end. A fastener is disposed at the first end and is configured to connect the first end to a piece of clothing of the wearer. The fastener has a body portion attached to the strap and a movable part. A ring is disposed at the second end of the strap and configured to retain the strap in a closed loop shape to hold the garment in the gathered position. A method includes manufacturing the strap with the fastener at the first end and the ring positioned at the second end of the strap. The method includes instructing the wearer to lift the garment to form a gathered portion of the garment, form a loop shape with the strap around the gathered portion, and utilize the ring to retain the strap in the loop shape to hold the gathered portion in a fixed position relative to the wearer to expose a breast for nursing.
Modular furniture assembly with dual coupling mechanisms
A modular furniture assembly comprising first and second members (e.g., base and transverse member) may have convenient dual coupling mechanisms, for example, a magnetic coupling mechanism and a mechanical (e.g., hook and loop) coupling mechanism. The first member and/or second member may include a fabric or other cover over a foam or other body (e.g., fabric over foam, or other cover over a skeleton). Either or both members may include a rigid core (e.g., a board, skeleton, etc.). The coupling mechanisms may be such as to not detract from any soft, cushioned characteristics of a fabric over foam construction, if such is provided. The coupling structure in the first member and/or the second member may be tethered to the rigid core of the particular member to reduce tenting of the fabric or other cover of the first member and/or the second member as the tethered coupling structure is pulled.
Locking Fastener System
A fastener system comprised of features that provide the ability of objects to be attached together. The fastener system includes a key and housing, which connect together by insertion of a prong and magnetic attachment. The key includes a prong that fits into the center point at the lower end of the housing, and is made of magnetic material that attaches at the upper end of the housing. The housing includes an aperture at the lower end to allow attachment to an item, and a slot the upper end to receive insertion of the key.
Forced focused fastening member
A force focused fastening system maintaining a fastener element in plane during fastening. The force focused fastening system includes a force focused fastening member including an extensible region and an end region. The end region includes a fastener element and the extensible region includes a high modulus region aligned relative to a center portion of the fastener element. During fastening, the force focused fastening member directs forces toward the center portion of the fastener element, away from end portions, minimizing distortion of the fastener element.

The second portion includes a first plurality of magnets. Each magnet of the first plurality of magnets is angularly positionable relative to each other magnet of the first plurality of magnets.
Flexible magnetic sealing apparatus
A magnetic sealing closure, comprising: a. a first flexible strip, with a plurality of cavities adapted to incorporate a plurality of magnetic elements; b. a second flexible strip, with a plurality of cavities adapted to incorporate a plurality of magnetic elements; wherein said sealing closure comprises membranes connectable to said first strip, and a second membrane connectable to said second strip, such that said plurality of magnetic elements of said second strip are embedded within said plurality of cavities between said second strip and said second membrane; when said first and second strips and are brought together from the side of said first and second membranes, magnetic elements of said first and said second strips magnetically attract each other, such that a sealing is provided.
Cover for an electronic device
A cover is described that is magnetically attached to a tablet device. The cover includes at least as flap. In the described embodiment, the flap includes a plurality of segments where the first segment includes a first plurality of edge attach magnets arrayed along a first edge of the flap and where a second segment includes a second plurality of edge attach magnets arrayed along a second edge of the flap opposite the first edge.

Various embodiments relate to a method for closely connecting an organic optoelectronic component to a connection piece, including forming a first cavity in the organic optoelectronic component, wherein the first cavity has at least a first opening, introducing a connecting structure through the first opening into the first cavity, wherein the connecting structure has a first fixing area, wherein the first fixing area is configured partially complementarily to the form of the first cavity, forming a second cavity in a connection piece, wherein the second cavity has at least a second opening, wherein the second cavity is configured partially complementarily to the form of the second fixing area, and introducing a second fixing area through the second opening into the second cavity, and forming a friction-fitting connection of the organic optoelectronic component with the connecting piece once the connecting structure has been introduced into the first and the second cavity.
