Clasp system
A clasp system for attaching two elements, comprising first and second parts (A, B) each having a body (10, 11) for attachment to a respective one of the elements. The first and second parts having a fastening means comprising first and second fastening portions (1, 6), the first part including the first fastening portion and the second part including the second fastening portion. The first fastening portion and the second fastening portion are respectively configured for clipping engagement to fasten the first and second parts together. The unfastening comprises a relative twist movement of the first and second parts to unclip the first and second fastening portions. The first and second parts further comprise magnetic material (2, 3, 4, 5) arranged to pull the first and second parts together into the clipping engagement when the first and second parts are relatively oriented in a predetermined manner and spaced less than a predetermined maximum distance apart.
VEHICLE ENCLOSURE AND METHOD AND SYSTEM OF INSTALLATION
A vehicle enclosure (14) and method and system of installation using an adhesive-backed attachment device (1) having a base (4) with an adhesive backing (10) and a stud (12) or a socket (2) that engages a conventional a conventional snap (8). The adhesive-backed attachment device is preferably flexible so that it may be attached to uneven surfaces of a vehicle, such as a golf cart (15). The adhesive-backed attachment device eliminates unsightly brackets, drilling or screwing into the golf cart and cuts down on installation time of golf cart enclosures. The studs and sockets may also be integrated into a new roof (14) for retrofitting an existing golf cart.
MAGNETIC BELT ASSEMBLY
A magnetic belt assembly is provided. The assembly includes a first belt portion having a first coupling member and a second belt portion having a second coupling member. Each of the first coupling member and the second coupling member includes a plurality of magnets that is structurally flexible such that each magnet of the plurality of magnets is angularly positionable relative to each other magnet of the plurality of magnets to form a non-planar surface.
BUCKLE
Provided is a buckle including a plug member and a socket member. The plug member includes a plate extending forward from a lower end of a base and having a first magnet embedded in a middle portion thereof, and a holder protruding from a front end of the plate. The socket member includes an upper plate extending forward from an upper end of a base and having a second magnet embedded in a middle portion thereof, side plates formed on opposite sides of the upper plate, and a accommodation region formed inside the upper plate and the side plates so as to accommodate the plate therein. The upper plate has a holder aperture formed therein so that the holder is seated in the holder aperture when the plug member and the socket member are coupled to each other.
COVER FOR AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A magnetic attachment mechanism and method is described. The magnetic attachment mechanism can be used to releasably attach at least two objects together in a preferred configuration without fasteners and without external intervention. The magnetic attachment mechanism can be used to releasably attach an accessory device to an electronic device. The accessory device can be used to augment the functionality of usefulness of the electronic device.
Clothing Clip Apparatus and Method for Using Same
A nursing apparatus is configured to hold a garment in a gathered position to expose a breast for nursing. The apparatus has a strap with a first end and a second end. A fastener is disposed at the first end and is configured to connect the first end to a piece of clothing of the wearer. The fastener has a body portion attached to the strap and a movable part. A ring is disposed at the second end of the strap and configured to retain the strap in a closed loop shape to hold the garment in the gathered position. A method includes manufacturing the strap with the fastener at the first end and the ring positioned at the second end of the strap. The method includes instructing the wearer to lift the garment to form a gathered portion of the garment, form a loop shape with the strap around the gathered portion, and utilize the ring to retain the strap in the loop shape to hold the gathered portion in a fixed position relative to the wearer to expose a breast for nursing.
Magnetic Fastener Clip
A magnetic fastener clip includes a cup having at least one hole, an overmold is attached to the cup and a magnet. The overmold has: a cup cover is injection molded on an outside portion of the cup, and an inner ring is injection molded on at least part of an inside portion of the cup. The inner ring is attached to the cup cover via the at least one hole. The magnet operably attaches into the inner ring. According to one embodiment, a turn coupler attaches to the cup cover. The magnetic fastener clip is operative for blind attachment into a structure, such as a vehicle chassis i.e. a pillar, door frame, chassis or roof.
SIGNAL-ACTIVATED LINGERIE
A lingerie comprises an upper panel, a lower panel, and a signal-activated fastener. The upper panel is generally oriented horizontally and the lower panel is generally oriented vertically with respect to a wearer's body. The upper panel includes a first strap and a second strap and the lower panel includes one or more frontal straps and a back strap. The signal-activated fastener is coupled with one end of the first strap and one end of the second strap, the first ends of the one or more frontal straps are coupled with the upper panel, one end of the back strap is coupled with one the first strap and second strap, and the signal-activated fastener is responsive to a signal and operative to unfasten causing the lingerie to fall off from the wearer's body.
Systems and apparatus of magnetic clasping
Example embodiments of the systems and methods of magnetic clasping disclosed herein include a a self-aligning interlocking magnetic clasp. When the two halves are placed within close proximity of each other, the magnetic attraction of the magnets within the clasps orient the parts, and the mechanical features of a key, a keyway and a sliding face align. These features hold the two clasps together with the opposed sliding faces coincident and the keys and keyways interlocked, forming a bead shape, for example, with a hole through the middle.
Magnetic clasp animal leash assembly
A magnetic clasp animal leash assembly for connecting to an animal collar having at least one metallic leash attachment ring defining an aperture. The assembly having a first member and a second member moveable with respect to one another between a closed position and an open position. The two members have an internal surface creating an aperture in a closed state. Outer ends of the two members are spaced from one another creating a clear passage with respect to the internal surface defining the aperture in an opened state. A magnet is located opposite from the clear passage proximate to the internal surface of the aperture. An actuator assembly is engageable with the two members to drive the two members toward the open position.
