Oral care compositions
The various aspects presented herein relate to oral care compositions comprising: a) a bioactive component in an amount from 0.01 to 10 wt % of the oral care composition; b) a non-ionic surfactant comprising (i) a surfactant selected from the group consisting of: poly(oxyethylene)-poly(oxypropylene)-poly(oxyethylene) block copolymers, poly(oxyethylene)-modified hydrogenated castor oils, and poly(oxyethylene)-modified fatty acid monoesters of sorbitan, and (ii) a surfactant selected from the group consisting of polyol esters and sugar esters; c) at least one orally acceptable solvent; and optionally, d) a C.sub.2-C.sub.4 monohydric alcohol, wherein the ratio of the surfactant selected from the group consisting of: poly(oxyethylene)-poly(oxypropylene)-poly(oxyethylene) block copolymers, poly(oxyethylene)-modified hydrogenated castor oils, and poly(oxyethylene)-modified fatty acid monoesters of sorbitan to the surfactant selected from the group consisting of polyol esters and sugar esters is from 1:10 to 10:1; and wherein the ratio of the non-ionic surfactant to the bioactive component is from 0.5 to 3.
CLEANSING/SANITIZER COMPOSITIONS, METHODS AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to the field of cleansing/sanitization, cosmetic technology, chemical and general sciences. In particular, the disclosure relates to saponification free cleansing compositions comprising at least one cleansing agent optionally along with adsorbing agent, excipient or a combination thereof. The disclosure also provides process of preparing said composition and its applications for cleansing/sanitizing skin and/or inanimate objects amongst others.
VISCOUS COMPOSITION
Provided is a viscous emulsion composition that contains a relatively high concentration of a carboxyl-group-containing water-soluble copolymer but is not so viscous as to lose handleability.
Anhydrous cosmetic compositions and uses
Described herein, an anhydrous cosmetic composition includes one or more water-absorbing components; a malodour-controlling component; a cosmetically acceptable carrier; wherein the anhydrous cosmetic composition has a burst resistance pressure greater than about 137.9 mBar (2 psi); wherein the anhydrous cosmetic composition has a water vapor sorption per 100 g of the composition from about 2.0 g to about 15 g; and wherein the anhydrous cosmetic composition is essentially free of aluminium-based antiperspirant actives.
Liquid Thickener Composition Comprising Polyalkoxylated
The subject application relates to a liquid thickener composition comprising polyalkoxylated polyols polyester having Guerbet acid moieties. Compounds contained herein relate to polyalkoxylated polyol polyester having a viscosity that allows a product to be poured, yet retained on a desired surface to which it is applied. Embodiments of the compounds may be exemplified by the formula:

MULTI-PHASE WATER-BASED SMUDGE-RESISTANT MAKE-UP REMOVER
A cleansing composition includes at least three visually distinct phase layers. The first visually distinct phase layer includes at least one cosmetic solvent and has a Hilderbrand solubility parameter δ value that is greater than 15 cal..sup.1/3. cm.sup.−2/3 and includes at least one cationic surfactant and at least one inorganic salt. The second visually distinct phase layer includes at least one cosmetic solvent having a Hilderbrand solubility parameter δ value less than 7.5 cal..sup.1/3. cm.sup.−2/3. And the third visually distinct phase layer includes at least one cosmetic solvent having a Hilderbrand solubility parameter δ value that is between 8 and 10 cal..sup.1/3. cm.sup.−2/3.
TWO PHASE WATER-BASED SMUDGE-RESISTANT MAKE-UP REMOVER
A cleansing composition includes at least two visually distinct phase layers that include a first visually distinct phase layer including at least one amino-acid derived cationic surfactant, and at least one inorganic salt, and a second visually distinct phase layer including at least one plant-derived alkane or plant-derived alkylether. The at least one cationic surfactant is an amino acid based cationic surfactant that may be selected from a derivative ethyl lauroyl arginate or a salt thereof, and ethyl cocoyl arginate or a salt thereof (PCA ethyl cocoyl arginate). The first visually distinct phase layer may be present at about 50% to about 95% and the second visually distinct phase layer may be present at about 5% to about 50%, by weight, based on the total weight of the cleansing composition.
Method using a cosmetic ingredient containing cretanoside, acteoside and 1,3-propanediol
A cosmetic ingredient comprising crenatoside and acteoside when applied to the skin is useful to provide cosmetic and perfumery benefits.
Hair dyeing method using a dye composition and an oxidizing composition, said compositions comprising a scleroglucan gum
The disclosure relates to a method for dyeing keratin fibers, in particular human keratin fibers such as hair, involving the application of a dye composition (A) on the fibers, said dye composition comprising one or more oxidation dyes, one or more scleroglucan gums in a total weight content greater than or equal to 0.5% relative to the total weight of the composition (A) and one or more alkaline agents, and the application of an oxidizing composition (B) comprising one or more chemical oxidizing agents and one or more scleroglucan gums preferably in a total weight content greater than or equal to 0.5% relative to the total weight of the composition (B); the oxidizing composition (B) being mixed with the dye composition (A) just before use (application on said fibers). The disclosure also relates to a multi-compartment device suitable for implementing the method.
Method for producing nonaqueous composition for external use on skin
A method for producing a nonaqueous composition for external use on the skin including a strongly hydrophilic amphiphilic solid active ingredient-surfactant complex dissolved or dispersed in an oil phase, the method including the steps of: dissolving a surfactant in an oil phase to obtain a surfactant solution; mixing the obtained surfactant solution with a strongly hydrophilic amphiphilic solid active ingredient to obtain a suspension; and allowing the obtained suspension to stand still to obtain a transparent composition. Unlike conventional methods for preparing S/O formulations, the strongly hydrophilic amphiphilic solid active ingredient can be solubilized in an oil phase without the process of emulsification and freeze drying.
