Antimicrobial sanitizer compositions and their use
The present invention relates to antimicrobial sanitizing compositions for use as skin sanitizers, especially sanitizers for the hands and feet, and air sanitizers and deodorisers. The sanitizing compositions comprise a combination of three ammonium compounds (ie. an alkoxy silyl ammonium compound, a benzalknonium chloride or benzethonium chloride and a polymeric biguanide) in a non-ionic surfactant carrier. The non-ionic surfactant system comprises an alcohol ethoxylate and an alkylglucoside or alkylpolyglycoside. Methods of use of the compositions are also described.
Cosmetic anti-blemish composition, use of the composition and anti-blemish treatment method
The present invention relates to cosmetic anti-blemish compositions, in the form of a silicone-containing emulsion, which are particularly useful to fill deep wrinkles, particularly around the lips.
PERSONAL CARE COMPOSITIONS
Described herein are personal care compositions comprising a stability control system comprising a non-ionic opacifier, and a cationic polymer. Methods of making and using the compositions are also described.
FOAMING COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a composition comprising: (a) at least one ether oil; (b) at least one amphoteric surfactant chosen from (C.sub.8-C.sub.24)alkyl betaines, (C.sub.8-C.sub.24)alkylamido(C.sub.1-C.sub.6)alkylbetaines, and mixtures thereof; (c) at least one anionic surfactant; (d) at least one polyglyceryl fatty acid ester; and (e) at least one alklypolyglycoside. The composition according to the present invention is stable and capable of forming good foam, and can remove make-up well.
COMPOSITION FOR ORAL CAVITY
Provided is an oral composition that has excellent stability over time although a hydrocarbon oil is contained therein. Specifically provided is an oral composition comprising a hydrocarbon oil, a polyhydric alcohol, and a surfactant, the oral composition comprising (1) glycerol, and a polyglycerol fatty acid ester and/or an alkyl glucoside, (ii) propanediol, and a polyoxyethylene hardened castor oil and/or a polyoxyethylene hardened castor oil fatty acid ester, (iii) butylene glycol, and a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether and/or a polyoxyethylene hardened castor oil fatty acid ester, or (iv) polyethylene glycol and a polyoxyethylene hardened castor oil fatty acid ester.
Concentrated rinse-off cleansing composition
The present disclosure relates to a concentrated rinse-off cleansing composition that includes a high concentration of surfactants and conditioning agent(s). For example, the cleansing compositions may include: (a) surfactants system comprising: (i) one or more anionic surfactants selected from: (i-a) alkyl sulfates; alkyl ether sulfates, salts thereof, or a mixture thereof; and (i-b) optionally, one or more non-sulfate anionic surfactants; (ii) one or more alkyl polyglucosides; and (iii) one or more amphoteric surfactants; (b) one or more conditioning agents; and (c) water. The cleansing compositions are particularly useful for cleansing hair.
COSMETIC PREPARATION
The present invention relates to a cosmetic having the innovative, unprecedented property in which the ultraviolet protection effects do not decrease, but conversely increase, due to coming into contact with moisture such as water or perspiration, and due to heat applied in the usage environment. The cosmetic of the present invention contains (A) an ultraviolet protectant; (B) at least one compound that is water-soluble and that has an IOB of 5.0 or lower, selected from among (i) alkylene oxide derivatives and (ii) polyhydric alcohols; and (C) an oil phase thickener; wherein the mass ratio of component (A)/component (B) is 20 or lower; and the (B) (i) alkylene oxide derivatives are polyoxyalkylene/polyoxyethylene copolymer dialkyl ethers represented by the following formula (I):
R.sub.1O-[(AO).sub.m(EO).sub.n]-R.sub.2 (I) wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, each independently, denote a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group having one to four carbon atoms, AO denotes an oxyalkylene group having three or four carbon atoms, EO denotes an oxyethylene group, 1≤m≤70, 1≤n≤70 and m+n≤40.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR THE ANTISEPTIC TREATMENT OF BIOFILMS ON MAMMALIAN TISSUE
Compositions and methods for providing the hybrid benefit of treating biofilms on the surface of mammalian tissue, especially biofilms that occur in association with chronic wounds and burns, and simultaneously providing an antiseptic cleansing and maintenance of the stratum corneum of the tissue and other tissue surfaces, and an opportunity for the tissue to improve by engaging its own natural barrier and immunological defense properties. The compositions and methods prevent the re-establishment of biofilms by facilitating the reduction or eradication of the pathogen producing the biofilm before the biofilm can be established.
Deodorant cosmetic compositions comprising calcium silicate and sodium bicarbonate
The present disclosure relates to deodorant cosmetic compositions including calcium silicate and baking soda. Furthermore, the present disclosure relates to a cosmetic product containing such compositions and the use of the compositions or products for reduction of the body odor released by perspiration.
High-Potency Vitamin C Topical Formulations
Topical formulations of L-ascorbic acid dissolved in a combination of a urea agent and a non-aqueous skin-compatible solvent are provided. The formulations are storage stable for an extended period of time without significant degradation of the L-ascorbic acid in the composition, are have desirable physical properties. The topical formulations can include high concentrations of the L-ascorbic acid. Topical compositions of this disclosure find use in treating or preventing a variety of cosmetic and/or dermatological conditions as well as to reduce the appearance of chronological and/or environmentally-caused skin aging.
