Sulfate-Free Surfactant System
Provided is a sulfate-free surfactant system which is particularly suitable for use in personal hygiene products. The sulfate-free surfactant system comprises a liquid comprising an organic phase and a solvent wherein the organic phase comprises glyceride and surfactant and the liquid comprises: 4-40 wt % glyceride wherein the glyceride is the condensation reaction product of at least 1.10 moles of a mixture of acids to no more than 2.1 moles of mixture of acids per mole of glycerin; wherein mixture of acids comprises: at least 0.275 to no more than 0.990 moles of a first acid comprising a branched acid with 16-20 aliphatic carbons; at least 0.250 to no more than 0.810 moles of a second acid comprising an alkyl acid with 9-11 carbons; and at least 0.250 to no more than 0.810 moles of a third acid comprising an alkyl acid with 7-9 carbons wherein the third acid has a lower molecular weight than the second acid; and 6-45 wt % surfactant; and wherein the liquid has a BYV of at least 50 dyn/cm.sup.2.
AN ANTIMICROBIAL MIXTURE
Suggested is an antimicrobial mixture comprising or consisting of (a) at least one monocyclic sesquiterpene alcohol, (b) at least one active selected from the group consisting of 4-hydroxyacetophenone, sorbitan caprylate, cocamidopropyl PG-dimonium chloride phosphate, tetrasodium glutamate diacetate, glyceryl caprylate and glyceryl caprate, and optionally (c) at least one additional antimicrobial agent different from components (a) and (b).
Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate Composition
A surfactant formulation comprised of: a sulfosuccinate in the range of 7 to 30 percent (active); an alkylpolyglucoside in the range of 5 to 30 percent (active); water in the range of 20 to 80 percent (active); and an optional preservative.
HAIR CARE COMPOSITIONS
Hair care compositions and methods for providing conditioning benefits to hair is disclosed. The hair care compositions may include one or more nonionic surfactants comprising one or more alkylpolyglucosides; one or more fatty alcohols; one or more fatty esters comprising caprylic/capric triglyceride; about 0.5 to about 30 wt. % of a fatty compound other than fatty alcohol and fatty ester; one or more silicones comprising polysilicone-11; one or more thickening agents; and water, wherein the hair care composition is an emulsion, and all weight percentages are based on the total weight of the hair care composition.
COSMETIC COMPOSITION
Cosmetic compositions comprising a Gardenia fruit extract are provided.
FOAM TYPE SEMI-PERMANENT HAIR DYEING COMPOSITION
Provided is a semi-permanent hair dye composition, and particularly, a foam-type semi-permanent hair dye composition which is easily applied onto the inner part of the hair due to having high foam forming ability and high foam retention and exhibits less color fading after dyeing and excellent colorability. The semi-permanent hair dye composition includes a pigment penetration agent, a cationic surfactant, and a non-ionic surfactant as well as a basic pigment.
COMPOSITION FOR REMINERALIZING TOOTH ENAMEL
The invention relates to dentistry, and more particularly to a novel agent in the form of a gel for the treatment and/or prophylaxis of conditions characterized by loss of minerals and salts front tooth enamel. The claimed agent, provided in gel foam, for the treatment and/or prophylaxis of conditions characterized by loss of minerals and salts from tooth enamel contains the following ingredients: 19 wt % glycerin, 10 wt % xylitol 2.3 wt % hydroxyethyl cellulose, 0.09 wt % guar gum, 1 5 wt % calcium glycerophosphate, 0.12 wt % magnesium chloride, 0.9 wt % non-ionic surfactant, 0.24 wt % preservative, 0.04 wt % flavouring agent, she remainder water. The claimed agent provides effective treatment and prophylaxis of the demineralization/hypomineralization of dental tissue, mild forms of fluorosis, and the adverse consequences thereof.

METAL OXIDE SUNSCREEN FORMULATIONS
Provided herein are sunscreen formulations containing a metal oxide sunscreen, squalane, and an antioxidant. The sunscreen formulations provided have increased SPF per unit mass of the metal oxide compared to sunscreen formulations that contain metal oxide without the addition of squalane and antioxidant. Also provided are methods of preventing UV damages to skin involving the application of the sunscreen formulation.
Personal Care Compositions
Disclosed are personal care compositions, e.g., natural liquid soap compositions, comprising an effective amount of a long chain alkyl (C.sub.6-C.sub.22) anionic surfactant (e.g., disodium 2-sulfolaurate), an effective amount of an amphoteric surfactant (e.g., cocamidopropyl betaine), an effective amount of one or more alkyl glucoside(s) (e.g., decyl glucoside and coco-glucoside); and water, as well as to methods of using these compositions.
