Dyeing process starting from ortho-diphenol
A subject-matter of the invention is a process for dyeing keratinous substances, in particular keratinous fibers, comprising the application, to the said keratinous fibers: of at least one composition A comprising at least one non-ionic alkylpolyglucoside surfactant, at least one metal salt and at least one thickening polymer and of at least one composition B comprising one or more ortho-diphenol derivative(s).
Cationic and Nonionic Surfactant Cleansing Composition
An aqueous cleansing composition comprising a cationic surfactant, a nonionic surfactant, and a thickener comprising an alkoxylated methyl glucose ether, wherein a weight ratio of cationic surfactant to nonionic surfactant is greater than 0.9:1. The combination of the cationionic:nonionic surfactant ratio with the alkoxylated methyl glucose ether thickener provides the composition with cold weather stability. Cold weather stability is observed when the composition remains transparent after cold storage.
Cosmetic composition comprising a cationic derivate of fructan and an anionic or non-ionic surfactant
The invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising at least one cationic derivate of fructan and at least one anionic surfactant, non-ionic surfactant or amphoteric surfactant. The cationic derivate of fructan has preferably a molecular weight of less than 30000 g/l and preferably a solubility in water at a temperature of 25 C. of at least 20 wt %.
The invention further relates to a method for treating hair with such a cosmetic composition.
CLEAR SULFATE-FREE SURFACTANT BASED CLEANSER COMPOSITION WITH THICKENER
A cosmetic composition and a method of preparing the cosmetic composition are provided. The method includes mixing at least one sulfate-free surfactant, at least one thickener, at least one hydrophilic emollient to form a mixture; and adding solvent to the mixture. The cosmetic composition is a clear, flowable semi-solid, and converts to a non-flowable semi-solid upon rubbing.
Thickened cationic and nonionic surfactant cleansing composition
An aqueous cleansing composition comprising a cationic surfactant, a nonionic surfactant, and a thickener comprising an alkoxylated methyl glucose ether, wherein a weight ratio of cationic surfactant to nonionic surfactant is greater than 0.9:1. The combination of the cationionic:nonionic surfactant ratio with the alkoxylated methyl glucose ether thickener provides the composition with cold weather stability. Cold weather stability is observed when the composition remains transparent after cold storage.
TOPICAL COMPOSITION AND USE THEREOF
Described herein are methods of improving the appearance of skin, or at least one sign of skin aging, using Micrococcus luteus compositions. The invention also relates to topical compositions, kits useful in such methods, and to methods of manufacturing topical compositions.
10-HYDROXYSTEARIC ACID COMPOSITIONS
The present invention relates to topical compositions comprising 10-hydroxystearic acid or a salt thereof and at least one nonionic emulsifier. The present invention also relates to a method to retard or inhibit the re-crystallisation of 10-hydroxystearic acid or a salt thereof in a topical composition, said method comprising formulating 10-hydroxystearic acid or a salt thereof in the presence of at least one nonionic emulsifier.
Personal care compositions
Hair care compositions and methods for using the same are disclosed herein. According to one aspect of the disclosure, a hair care composition is provided that includes from about 1 to about 20 wt. % of an anionic surfactant; from about 0.5 to about 5 wt. % of an amphoteric surfactant; from about 0.1 to about 7 wt. % of a nonionic surfactant; from about 0.1 to about 5 wt. % of a thickening agent, wherein the thickening agent is a natural gum; and from about 0.05 to about 4.5 wt. % of a silicone wherein the hair composition is an emulsion and all weight percentages are based on the total weight of the hair care composition. Additionally, the hair care composition may have a weight ratio for the total amount of anionic surfactant to the total amount of amphoteric surfactant that is about 5:1 to about 20:1.
Transparent aqueous cleansing composition comprising a nonionic and cationic surfactant mixture
