The first surface has thermal bonding properties superior to thermal bonding properties of the second surface, and at least one of the two separators is bonded to the core via the first surface thereof.
System and Method for Additive Manufacturing of a Three-Dimensional Object
A method for additive manufacturing of a three-dimensional object includes: a) identifying a set of sequentially extending planar cross-sectional shapes of the three-dimensional object; b) cutting a metal sheet into a plurality of planar metal pieces, each metal piece cut to a metal piece shape corresponding to a respective one of the cross-sectional shapes, wherein the metal sheet has a first face with a first plurality of barbs extending therefrom, and an opposed second face with a second plurality of barbs extending therefrom; c) cutting a substrate sheet into a plurality of planar substrate pieces, each substrate sheet cut to a substrate piece shape corresponding to a respective one of the cross-sectional shapes; and d) positioning the metal pieces and the substrate pieces in facing relation in an alternating pattern and in sequential order, and pressing the metal pieces and substrate pieces together to force the barbs to penetrate the substrate pieces.
SAMP coated cooperating surfaces, method of treating cooperating surfaces, and method of installing cooperating surfaces into crude oil service operation
A device having cooperating surfaces, method of treating cooperating surfaces of a device, and method of installing device having cooperating surfaces, wherein the device may include a first cooperating surface and a second cooperating surface, and wherein the first and second surfaces form cooperating surfaces, and wherein at least one of the surfaces comprises a Self-Assembled Monolayer of Phosphonate (SAMP). The method of treating cooperating surfaces includes applying a coat of a Self-Assembled Monolayer of Phosphonate (SAMP) composition to at least one of said cleaned and dried surfaces. The method of installing may include installing said device into a section of a crude oil service operation.
Method and kit for treatment of components utilized in a crude oil service operation
A method and kit for treatment of a stainless steel or other nickel alloy component utilized in a crude oil service operation including cleaning a surface of the component to remove surface contamination; drying the cleaned surface of the component; applying a coat of Self-Assembled Monolayer of Phosphonate (SAMP) to the cleaned and dried surface of the component to form a treated component; and installing the treated component into a section of a crude oil service operation. The coating reduces paraffin/asphaltene deposition on the component. The kit includes a cleaner wipe impregnated with a cleaning substance for cleaning the component; a nano-coating wipe impregnated with a SAMP for applying a nano-coating of the SAMP to the component; and instructions for treating said component utilizing the cleaner wipe and the nano-coating wipe.
Car dumper dust collection method and apparatus
An apparatus for rotary dumping of rail cars, including a material receiving pit. A rotary rail car dumper includes a rotational frame supporting at least one baffle. The rotational frame is configured to dump a load from a rail car during rotational motion of the rotational frame between an upright position wherein the entire load is in the rail car and a dumping position wherein the load can exit the rail car. A backside airflow diverter is located beneath the rotational frame and includes a curved upper surface. A lower margin of the at least one baffle contacts the curved upper surface during at least part of the rotational motion of the rotational frame.
