Multi-material pivot return for shaving systems
Replaceable shaving assemblies are disclosed that include a blade unit, an interface element configured to removeably connect the blade unit to a handle, on which the blade unit is pivotably mounted, and an return element disposed between the blade unit and interface element. The return element provides resistance during shaving and positions the blade unit in a rest position when not in use.
RAZOR CARTRIDGES
Replaceable shaving assemblies are disclosed that include a razor cartridge comprising: an elongated housing defining a central open area, and, adjacent each short edge of the housing, a clip-receiving aperture and a clip-receiving channel; a plurality of blades disposed within the open area of the housing, and a pair of clips, each clip having a first leg and a second leg, the first leg extending through the clip-receiving aperture and being bent against a lower surface of the housing, and the second leg being wrapped around the housing and seated in the clip-receiving channel. Shaving systems including such shaving assemblies are also disclosed, as are methods of using such shaving systems and methods of manufacturing these cartridges.
Cutting insert, cutting tool, and method of producing machined product using the same
In a cutting insert according to an embodiment of the present invention, an upper surface sequentially includes a first rake surface and a second rake surface. The first rake surface being inclined toward the lower surface as going inward from the cutting edge at a first rake angle on a basis of a perpendicular plane perpendicular to a central axis extending between the upper surface and a lower surface. The second rake surface is located more inward than the first rake surface and is inclined toward the lower surface at a second rake angle different from the first rake angle on the basis of the perpendicular plane. An intersecting part of the first rake surface and the second rake surface includes a protruded part located at a highest position in a region of the intersecting part along the second side surface. A cutting tool with the cutting insert, and a method of producing a machined product by using the cutting tool are also provided.
SHAVING SYSTEMS
Replaceable shaving assemblies are disclosed that include a blade unit, an interface element configured to removeably connect the blade unit to a handle, on which the blade unit is pivotably mounted, and a return element disposed between the blade unit and interface element. The return element serves as interface piece, connector and pivot all in one. Shaving systems including such shaving assemblies are also disclosed, as are methods of using such shaving systems.
Punching device with illuminated receiving plate
A punching device for processing samples applied to a sample card is provided. The punching device includes a movable gripper unit and an image capturing device and at least one punching head having a punch and a lower die. The punching head has a receiving opening into which a sample card is introducible by means of the movable gripper unit and is positionable relative to the punching head. The punching device further includes a punching drive which is couplable or coupled to the punch of the punching head. The punching device further includes a receiving plate supporting the receiving container and having a light source illuminating at least a part of the receiving plate. The light source is arranged such that at least a part of the receiving container located on the receiving plate can be illuminated from the direction of the receiving plate. The punching device further includes an image processing device configured to use data about positioning of the receiving container relative to the image capturing device to determine an analysis set of receiving recesses of the receiving container.
WOUND PACKING
The present invention relates to a wound packing material, suitable for use in negative pressure wound therapy, comprising a body of a porous material, the body comprising frangible regions defining a plurality of portions, the frangible regions allowing the portions to be selectively removed from the body. The invention further relates to methods of manufacturing the wound packing material, and to methods of its use.
Organ perfusion systems
A disposable set of components for an organ perfusion system comprising a fluid supply duct for supplying fluid to the organ, a fluid removal duct for removing fluid from the organ, and a surrogate organ removably connected between the fluid supply duct and the fluid removal duct so as to form a fluid circuit, so that fluid can be circulated in the circuit in preparation for connection of the organ.
Stepladder having a ladder top with conduit holder slot and method
The present invention pertains to a stepladder. The stepladder includes a ladder top having a plane having a front side and a rear side and a left side and a right side and a front side flange and a rear side flange and a left side flange and a right side flange. The stepladder includes a conduit holder slot for holding tubing, pipe and conduit. The conduit holder slot extends along the entire length of the top and in the right side and the left side. The conduit holder slot has a cross-section in the ladder top which is non-symmetrical. The stepladder includes a front section. The stepladder includes a rear section. A method for cutting a tube.
Blind packaging and methods of cutting window coverings
A package for a size-in-store window covering comprises a box having a first portion that extends for the width of the window covering and a second portion that extends for less than the width of the window covering. The window covering extends beyond an end of a bottom wall a first distance and the head rail extends beyond an end of a first side wall a second distance. A method of cutting a window covering comprises providing a window covering in a box as described above and positioning the box with the exposed portion of the window covering facing down and the exposed portion of the head rail facing a clamp. Methods of packaging a window covering comprise reducing the total number of loops in the window covering, and positioning inserts between adjacent components.
