Table saw

A table saw includes a base, a work table having a cutting opening, a tank for receiving cooling liquid, a blade partly extending out from the cutting opening, and a guard assembly. The guard assembly includes a guard for covering the blade and for moving upwards under the action of a workpiece. In a working condition, at least a portion of the guard abuts against the workpiece, and the workpiece can slide relative to the guard. The guard has a guiding wall which abuts against the workpiece in the working condition and which guides the cooling liquid into a kerf in the workpiece formed by the blade. The table saw effectively controls the cooling liquid splashed during the cutting operation of the workpiece and prevents the cooling liquid from splashing to dirty the operator, the work table, and the workpiece.

TILE SAW

A tile saw includes a base, a frame assembly disposed on the base, a first rail disposed on the frame assembly, the first rail having a longitudinal axis, a table slidingly disposed on the first rail, a support assembly disposed on the base, a saw assembly supported by the support assembly, the saw assembly comprising a motor, a cutting wheel driven by the motor, the saw assembly being pivotable about a horizontal axis substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis, and a switch electrically connected to the motor and disposed on the support assembly so that, when the motor assembly is pivoted about the horizontal axis, the switch remains stationary.

A tile saw includes a base, a frame assembly disposed on the base, a first rail disposed on the frame assembly, the first rail having a longitudinal axis. A table is slidingly disposed on the first rail and a support assembly is disposed on the base. A fence assembly is attachable to the table and has a first fence and a second fence for contacting the workpiece. The second fence is pivotably attached to the first fence and pivotable about a substantially horizontal axis. A saw assembly is supported by the support assembly and includes a motor, and a cutting wheel driven by the motor.

Hydrodynamically guided circular saw blade
09623500 · 2017-04-18 ·

A circular saw blade includes a supporting body, cooling channels provided in the inner region of the supporting body and running in the radial direction, and teeth provided in the region of the outer periphery of the supporting body. The cooling channels emerge from the circular saw blade in the region of the tooth bases or in the region of the flanks of the teeth. Furthermore, the circular saw blade has pockets which, starting from a tooth base or a flank of a tooth, extend inwardly into the region of the supporting body.

DYNAMIC SAW LUBRICATION SYSTEM

A lubrication system for a saw may include a lubricator that is mechanically linked to a traveling arm of a saw, such as an up-cut saw. Movement of the saw blade through a first path may result automatically in movement of the lubricator through a second path transverse to the first path. This coupled movement may result in a relatively consistent distance between the lubricator and the periphery of the saw blade, especially as compared with a stationary lubricator.

Lubricant flow control management for saw guides

A saw guide for a saw arbor guide assembly comprises a head, a body, and one or more passages. The head has one or more intake channels adapted to supply lubricant to the saw guide. The body is connected to the head, with the body located between adjacent ones of the saw blades. The body has first and second faces, with the body further having a plurality of lubricant openings located on one or both of the first and second faces for supplying the lubricant to the saw blades. The passages extend through the head and the body and connect each of the intake channels with the lubricant openings, with the passages configured to carry lubricant from the one or more intake channels to the lubricant openings. For each of the lubricant openings, a flow control valve is located in the passage proximate to the lubricant opening to control a flow of lubricant through the lubricant opening. The flow control valves are configured to differentially control the flow of lubricant to the lubricant openings.
