SOLUBLE ADDUCTS OF BORIC ACID OR DERIVATIVES AND PRECURSORS THEREOF WITH CHITOSAN OLIGOSACCHARIDE DERIVATIVES
Disclosed are adducts of boric acid and chitosan wherein the amino groups of the D-glucosamine units are bonded to residues of polyol or alditol oligosaccharides, the molar ratio between boric acid and the repeating chitosan unit ranging between 0.001 and 4.
COSMETIC AGENT FOR TEMPORARY DEFORMATION OF KERATINIC FIBERS USING POLYMER COMBINATION II
The application describes a cosmetic agent for temporary deformation of keratinic fibers. The cosmetic agent includes, in a cosmetically acceptable carrier, a) at least one copolymer A formed from at least one monomer A1 selected from acrylic acid and/or methacrylic acid and at least one monomer A2 selected from acrylic acid esters and/or methacrylic acid esters, b) at least one cationic polymer B different from copolymer A selected from cationic guar derivatives, c) at least one polymer C different from copolymer A and polymer B, selected from cationic cellulose derivatives, and d) at least one propellant.
COSMETIC AGENT FOR TEMPORARILY SHAPING KERATIN FIBRES WITH POLYMER COMBINATION I
The application describes a cosmetic agent for temporarily shaping keratin fibres. The cosmetic agent includes, in a cosmetically acceptable carrier, a) at least one copolymer A formed from at least one monomer A1 selected from acrylic acid and/or methacrylic acid and at least one monomer A2 selected from acrylates and/or methacrylates, b) at least one cationic polymer B different from copolymer A and selected from cationic guar derivatives, c) at least one polymer C different from copolymer A and polymer B and the at least one polymer C is selected from homopolymers or copolymers of vinylpyrrolidone, and d) at least one propellant.
COSMETIC AND PHARMACEUTICAL FOAM
The invention relates to an alcohol-free cosmetic or pharmaceutical foam carrier comprising water, a hydrophobic solvent, a foam adjuvant agent, a surface-active agent and a water gelling agent. The cosmetic or pharmaceutical foam carrier does not contain aliphatic alcohols, making it non-irritating and non-drying. The alcohol-free foam carrier is suitable for inclusion of both water-soluble and oil soluble pharmaceutical and cosmetic agents.
Multicomponent meso thread containing hyaluronic acid and method for producing same (variants)
The group of inventions relates to the field of aesthetic, plastic and reconstructive cosmetology/medicine, and more particularly to meso threads used for remedying aesthetic and age-related changes to the skin, and to methods for producing such threads. Proposed is a multicomponent meso thread consisting of a core and a shell. The core is realized in the form of a fibroin thread, and the shell contains hyaluronic acid or a salt thereof or a polyelectrolyte complex of hyaluronic acid or a salt thereof and chitosan or a salt thereof. Also proposed are a variant of the thread having a plastifying agent in the shell, and methods for producing the proposed meso threads.
HAIR-TREATMENT COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF USE
The present disclosure relates to hair-treatment compositions, typically in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion, comprising: (a) one or more monosaccharides with amine group(s); (b) one or more polysaccharides with amine group(s); wherein (a) and (b) are solubilized in an aqueous phase of the oil-in-water emulsion; (c) one or more oils; (d) one or more nonionic emulsifiers; and (e) water. The compositions strengthen hair fibers and provide additional cosmetic improvements to the hair such as conditioning, detangling, softness, suppleness, moisturizing, and manageability. Methods of treating hair with the compositions are also described. The methods include applying the composition to wet or damp hair, drying the hair (for example, with a blow dryer) and treating the hair with heat (for example, with a hot iron).
CONDITIONER COMPOSITIONS WITH INCREASED DEPOSITION OF POLYACRYLATE MICROCAPSULES
Described herein, a conditioner composition can help to increase the deposition and retention of benefit agent containing polyacrylate microcapsules onto hair. The conditioner composition includes a combination of polyacrylate microcapsules, wherein chitosan is disposed on an outer surface of the polyacrylate microcapsules, deposition polymers, conditioner agents, and a carrier.
COSMETIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING LUTEIN AND A POLYSACCHARIDE
The invention relates to algal-derived compositions comprising lutein and polysaccharides. The invention also relates to the use of the compositions as foodstuff, cosmeceutical, cosmetic, nutraceutical, nutritional supplement or pharmaceutical composition.
A PERSONAL CARE COMPOSITION COMPRISING PARTICLES
Disclosed is a personal care composition comprising: a) particle comprising chitosan salt at the outer surface of the particle; and b) silicone component selected from dimethicone, aminosilicone or a mixture thereof, wherein the silicone component has a viscosity of at least 5,000 cSt at 25 C.
ORAL CARE PARTICLES AND SYSTEM FOR THE ADMINISTRATION THEREOF
Disclosed is a preparation for the interdental delivery of oral care agent. The preparation comprising one or more oral care agents contained in particles comprising an orally acceptable release matrix, wherein the particles are resiliently deformable and capable of being compressed so as to fit in an interdental space. The particles can thus be provided in a size slightly larger than that of an interdental space. By compression they can be inserted, particularly jetted, into interdental spaces, and their tendency to thereupon expand again provides a force retaining them in the space where they were applied, without being prone to washing away by saliva.
