The invention relates to an alcohol-free cosmetic or pharmaceutical foam carrier comprising water, a hydrophobic solvent, a foam adjuvant agent, a surface-active agent and a water gelling agent. The cosmetic or pharmaceutical foam carrier does not contain aliphatic alcohols, making it non-irritating and non-drying. The alcohol-free foam carrier is suitable for inclusion of both water-soluble and oil soluble pharmaceutical and cosmetic agents.

Proposed is a multicomponent meso thread consisting of a core and a shell. The present disclosure relates to hair-treatment compositions, typically in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion, comprising: (a) one or more monosaccharides with amine group(s); (b) one or more polysaccharides with amine group(s); wherein (a) and (b) are solubilized in an aqueous phase of the oil-in-water emulsion; (c) one or more oils; (d) one or more nonionic emulsifiers; and (e) water. Described herein, a conditioner composition can help to increase the deposition and retention of benefit agent containing polyacrylate microcapsules onto hair. The conditioner composition includes a combination of polyacrylate microcapsules, wherein chitosan is disposed on an outer surface of the polyacrylate microcapsules, deposition polymers, conditioner agents, and a carrier.

Disclosed is a preparation for the interdental delivery of oral care agent. The preparation comprising one or more oral care agents contained in particles comprising an orally acceptable release matrix, wherein the particles are resiliently deformable and capable of being compressed so as to fit in an interdental space. The particles can thus be provided in a size slightly larger than that of an interdental space. By compression they can be inserted, particularly jetted, into interdental spaces, and their tendency to thereupon expand again provides a force retaining them in the space where they were applied, without being prone to washing away by saliva.
