Flow diverter for a fertilization system
10362728 · 2019-07-30 ·

A fertilization system may include a flow diverter to divert a portion of water from a ground irrigation system through a tank containing fertilizer and back into the ground irrigation system by creating a high pressure region up stream of the flow diverter and a low pressure region down stream of the flow diverter to provide hydraulic operation of the fertilization system.

Slurry control system

A system for regulating an amount of fresh lime slurry introduced to a spray dry absorber. The control system includes a controller configured to receive input from a continuous emissions monitoring system (CEMS), a valve in communication with the controller and a spray dry absorber suction pump, the valve adapted to regulate an amount of fresh lime slurry provided to the spray dry absorber suction pump and a valve in communication with the controller and a pre-mix tank, the valve adapted to regulate an amount of fresh lime slurry provided to the pre-mix tank.

Dispensing systems

A system for limiting the flow from a dispensing valve when a dispensing cartridge is replaced with the system including a dispenser cartridge with a cam and a water socket with a flow limiter therein that is activeable in response to the position of the dispenser cartridge in the dispensing valve and operable in response to an upstream fluid pressure in the dispensing valve.

Dispensers

An inline dispersal valve that can be used with or without a base. One embodiment includes a rotatable member that is rotatable from a fluid stream obstructing condition to an out-of-the-way condition to prevent fluid diversion into the dispersal valve. Another embodiment includes a lever handle for quickly setting the amount of fluid being diverted into the inline dispersal valve. Another embodiment includes an indicator that can be viewed from a position above the inline dispersal valve. Another embodiment includes a cap that can be secured or removed without the aid of tools. Another embodiment includes a clip that allows one to disassemble the inline dispersal valve for servicing. Another embodiment includes a dispensing valve that can be reversed and still properly divert fluid into a dispersant chamber. Another embodiment includes an inline dispersal valve with a bleed valve positioned to allow one to bring the air volume in the dispersant chamber to the proper level.

Inline air treatment device

An airflow treatment device configured to be installed inline in the ductwork of an air handling system (e.g., HVAC system) in a manner that is substantially free of obstructing the airflow through the ductwork or requiring any supplemental power to treat the airflow passing by the treatment device. The disclosed airflow treatment device can also be maintained substantially free of any interruptions, disassembly or downtime to the air handling system after initial inline installation of the disclosed device. In one arrangement, the airflow treatment device is capable of accepting a threaded odor neutralizer container at its base. Ductwork need only be disassembled once to attach the disclosed device inline in the airflow path of the ductwork. When the odor neutralizing agent needs replenished, the container can be detached from the device, replenished, and reattached to the device free of disruption to the air flow of the air handling system.

Dispensing system for cakeable materials

A dispensing system for delivery of a dispersant from a canister containing an erodible but cakeable water dispersant wherein the cakeable water dispersant in a one piece caked condition falls to a bottom of a divergent walled canister so the water flowing through a bottom portion of the canister continues to maintain erodible contact with the dispersant as the water disperant is consumed.

A fertilizer device is described in one example, that is configured to connect to an irrigation system and direct water past fertilizer. The fertilizer device may include a cap rotatably disposed on a base portion. Depending on the rotational position of the cap relatively to the base portion, different amounts of water are directed against or past the fertilizer within a chamber of the device. The device also may include a water path around the fertilizer such that, even if water flow to the fertilizer is cut off, water without fertilizer will still pass through and out of the device.

Device for metering an additive into a fluid
12084368 · 2024-09-10 · ·

The invention relates to a device for metering an additive into a fluid, containing a valve body, a fluid inlet, and a fluid outlet. A first channel system extends between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet in the valve body, and a second channel system extends between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet in the valve body such that in the operating state fluid can flow from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet either through the first channel system or through the second channel system. The valve body contains a docking element which is configured for docking a cartridge for the additive. A switchover device is provided which can be switched if the cartridge is docked such that the second channel system is fluidically connected to the cartridge when the cartridge is connected to the docking element.
