Rectangular pump attachment interface providing a portable fixed link between a pump line coupled to a mobile tank and a line disposed in a reservoir
A portable and relocateable pump attachment interface provides a fixed link between a first line in communication with a fluid reservoir, and a second line in communication with a mobile storage tank via a pump of a pump truck. The interface includes an interface body that supports a fixed conduit entirely above ground. The front end of the conduit is for coupling to the first line, and the back end of the conduit is for coupling to the second line. The interface body has a fitting access space and a spill containment catch basin disposed under the fitting access space, and the second end of the conduit is located within the fitting access space and over the spill containment basin to catch any spillage from the second line when it is coupled to and uncoupled from the conduit. The interface body can be a concrete block, or be molded plastic filled with sand or water and is massive enough to substantially isolate line one from line 2. A metal conduit cover controls access to the front end of the conduit by enclosing the fixture access space.
Method of accelerating the curing process in resin overflow systems for the use in casting processes
A casting apparatus is provided. The apparatus comprises a resin overflow container for use in casting processes, comprising: a curing accelerator for a resin in the overflow container. The resin overflow container may include a compartment arranged within the overflow container. The compartment may be adapted to release the curing accelerator after the overflow container has been at least partly filled with resin. The apparatus may also include a mold; and a drain connecting the mold and the overflow container or being part of an overflow container outlet for drawing off resin of the overflow container.
Valve assemblies with internal protective elements and methods of using same
Valve assemblies which comprise a valve housing; an inner valve element; an outer valve element spaced apart from the inner valve element; a valve stem on which both the inner valve element and the outer valve element are located; a portion of the valve stem between the inner valve element and the outer valve element is threaded; and a protective element located within the valve housing and covering the threaded portion of the valve stem.
Safety device against fluid leaks for household appliances
An anti-flooding safety device includes two connection bodies, a valve arrangement that includes a valve member, a retention member for withholding the valve member in a respective opening position, and an inner hose and an outer hose impermeable to water. The inner hose hydraulically connects the two connection bodies and extends at least in part within the outer hose so that defined between the two hoses is a gap designed to withhold inside it any possible leaking water. A connection body has a control chamber that is at least in part delimited by a movable element, and a control member is coupled to the movable element so that a displacement of the latter will cause a displacement of the control member towards a respective position of release, wherein the valve member is free to pass into its closing position. The gap is in fluid communication with the control chamber, to obtain a substantially closed volume therewith.
Chemical Dispense System with Reduced Contamination
An apparatus includes a production tool and a pipe connected to the production tool. The pipe includes an inner pipe formed of a metal-free material, an outer pipe encircling the inner pipe, and an inlet connected to a channel between the inner pipe and the outer pipe. The apparatus further includes a chemical supply system connected to the pipe. The chemical supply system is configured to supply a chemical through a channel encircled by the inner pipe to the production tool.
Apparatuses and methods for connecting to objects of different sizes
According to one embodiment, an apparatus, connectable to objects of different sizes, comprises: a first connection body comprising a first plurality of spaced-apart connectors and a second plurality of spaced-apart connectors; and a second connection body comprising a first connector and a second connector, the first connector connectable to and disconnectable from a first one of the first plurality of spaced-apart connectors, and the second connector connectable to and disconnectable from a first one of the second plurality of spaced-apart connectors. When the first connector is connected to the first one of the first plurality of spaced-apart connectors and when the second connector is connected to the first one of the second plurality of spaced-apart connectors, the first connection body and the second connection body define a region having a first size between the first connection body and the second connection body. Methods are also disclosed.
Device for detecting and isolating fuel leaks in a vehicle
A device for detecting fuel leaks in a vehicle is provided. The device includes a body configured to be mounted in sealing engagement around a portion of a fuel line in the vehicle; and a collection chamber configured to collect fuel that leaks from the fuel line within the body. The body is configured to direct the fuel leaked from the fuel line to the collection chamber. At least a portion of the body or collection chamber is transparent to enable presence of the fuel leaked from the fuel line to be visually verified. The collection chamber is operatively connected to a drain connector.
Diverter and lid assembly for use with a rain barrel device and system
A diverter for a rain barrel includes a scoop portion configured to fit within a gutter downspout, a rain barrel fitting portion configured to fluidly attach the scoop portion to the rain barrel, and a wing extending outwardly from the scoop portion to direct a flow of water in the gutter downspout towards the scoop portion.
