VALVE BOX SYSTEM
A valve box system is disclosed for providing operators with access to utility lines such as municipal water and gas systems. This valve box system provides alignment between its multiple sections and a four-notched upper section for a better interface with an adjustment tool. The result is an efficient system which may serve as a stand-alone product or may serve to retrofit existing valve box systems.
TRIM SYSTEM FOR FLUID CONTROL VALVE AND METHOD OF INSTALLING TRIM SYSTEM FOR FLUID CONTROL VALVE
A method for installing a trim system for a fluid control valve mounted behind a wall and configured for use with a kitchen or bath fixture. The method includes positioning a locating ring against a trim assembly, where the locating ring has an adhesive layer on a rear surface thereof; coupling the trim assembly to the fluid control valve; pushing the trim assembly and locating ring toward the wall to bond the adhesive layer of the locating ring to the wall; removing the trim assembly from the locating ring; coupling a mounting bracket to the locating ring; securing the mounting bracket to the wall; and coupling the trim assembly to the mounting bracket.
Valve access conduit assembly and method of installing the assembly
The combination of: a) an underground valve for a supply line and having an underground actuator through which the state of the valve can be changed to control flow within the supply line; and b) a conduit assembly embedded in ground material and defining an access passage through which above ground access can be obtained to the valve actuator. The conduit assembly has a cap that can be selectively changed between: a) a first state wherein the cap blocks the entry opening; and b) a second state wherein above ground access can be gained to the valve actuator. The conduit assembly has an upper conduit part and a lower conduit part. The upper and lower conduit parts are interconnected and configured so that they move axially guidingly against and relative to each other so as to vary an effective combined axial length of the upper and lower conduit parts in response to forces generated by the ground material.
HANDLE ASSEMBLY
A faucet handle assembly includes a faucet handle, a handle adaptor, and a bonnet. The handle adaptor includes a plurality of end stops extending radially outward therefrom, and is configured to rotatably couple the faucet handle to a fluid control valve disposed within a valve body, and rotatably couple to the valve body by the plurality of end stops. The bonnet includes an inner ring having a plurality of locking features, and is configured to be removably coupled to the valve body by the plurality of locking features.
Height adjusting mechanism for an inlet valve
A height adjusting mechanism for an inlet valve includes a valve body, and inlet pipe, a retaining member and an actuator. The inlet pipe is sleeved in the valve body and connected to the valve body; the retaining member is assembled in the valve body; and the actuator can drive the retaining member to move to make the valve body fixed to the inlet pipe or moved relatively to the inlet pipe in the axial direction. The actuator drives the retaining member to move in order to let the valve body and the inlet pipe to be fixed or moved relatively to each other in the axial direction. There is no need to rotate the valve body during adjusting process, and the float won't affect the tank wall when the water valve body is rotating.
Liquid process apparatus and liquid process method
A top plate is provided with a top plate rotation mechanism configured to rotate the top plate in a horizontal plane. An outside cup peripheral case disposed around a cup is configured to move between an upper position, in which a top end of the cylinder is positioned above the cup, and a lower position located below the upper position. A nozzle support arm configured to support a nozzle is moved, in a horizontal direction, between an advanced position, in which the arm is advanced into the outside cup peripheral case via a side opening formed in a side surface of the outside cup peripheral case when the cylinder is located in the upper position, and a retracted position, in which the arm is retracted outward from the outside cup peripheral case.
System and method of cooling valve with material in cavity
A system includes a reciprocating engine, the reciprocating engine includes a poppet valve having a first valve end and a second valve end. The poppet valve includes a valve head having the first valve end. The valve head may open and close a fluid passageway within the reciprocating engine. The poppet valve also includes a stem extending from the valve head and having a first length. The stem has the second valve end and the second valve end is substantially opposite the first valve end. The poppet valve also includes a cavity aligned with a centerline axis of the poppet valve. The cavity includes a first region disposed within the valve head and a second region disposed within the stem, and the second region has a second length that is shorter than the first length. The poppet valve further includes a metal alloy disposed within the cavity. The metal alloy is in a liquid-phase during operation of the reciprocating engine and may transfer heat from the valve head to the stem.
Device for sealing a fluid delivery system and method
A device for semi-permanently sealing a leaking fluid delivery system comprising generally cylindrical resilient tubing comprising a material that permits delivery through a portion of a fluid delivery system at a first diameter and application to an interior wall of the fluid delivery system at a second diameter when exposed to temperature and pressure gradients, and further configured to undergo a change from the second diameter to a third diameter when exposed to reduced pressure to enable removal of the cylindrical resilient tubing from the fluid delivery system for replacement by a second length of generally cylindrical resilient tubing that permits delivery at a first diameter and application to an interior wall of the at least a portion of the fluid delivery system at a second diameter when exposed to temperature and pressure gradients.

Magnetic docking faucet
A faucet that includes a spout and a sprayhead movable between a docked position, in which the sprayhead is in contact with the spout, and an undocked position, in which the sprayhead is spaced apart from the spout. The faucet also includes a hose assembly that includes a tubular portion having an inlet end and an outlet end and configured to provide fluid through the spout to the sprayhead and a magnetically responsive end portion coupled to the outlet end of the tubular portion and freely and rotatably received within a portion of the sprayhead. A magnet is located in the spout such that when the sprayhead is in the docked position, the magnet magnetically attracts the magnetically responsive end portion so as to retain the sprayhead against the spout.
