Remote apparatus for displaying, monitoring and controlling shower, bath or faucet water parameters
The present invention is a remote display that communicated with a water parameter sensors engage to or in close proximity to a water supply piping or incorporated within a shower, or bath or faucet head, in an aesthetically pleasing format. The remote water parameter sensors includes power source, microprocessor and/or microcontroller, temperature sensor and/or water flow sensors, timing circuits. The remote display apparatus can communicated with the water parameter sensors by wired or means. The remote display apparatus can be a substantially round housing encircled with an interface ring having a centrally located display, or can be a square, rectangle, circle or other configuration touch-screen display mounted on a housing that has soft button for menu derived operations. Both embodiments have a back portion designed to adhere to various surfaces.
IV set system with bypass manifold
An intravenous (IV) set system comprising a primary IV set defining a primary flow line of the IV set system. The primary flow line can include multiple access points along its length and feeds to a merging fluid pathway proximate to the distal terminus of the primary IV set. At least one secondary IV set with corresponding flow lines can be separably joined to the primary IV set to cause the secondary flow lines to be in fluid communication with the primary flow line. At least one of the IV sets can have a unique set of uniform marking indicia to facilitate rapid identification of the IV sets from other IV sets within the IV set system. Such marked and identified primary and/or secondary IV sets can be allocated to specific medical functions and/or can be for use by specific medical personnel to thereby minimize risk of error in administration of an IV to a patient. The IV set system can further comprise a merging fluid pathway about a primary IV set.
Systems for monitoring hand sanitization
The present systems and methods relate to a hand sanitizer system that includes a proximity detector, a dispensing system and an alarm feature, and is operative to provide an indication corresponding to a person in proximity of the system failing to dispense antiseptic or other solution from the dispenser within a predetermined period of time after moving within a predetermined range of the detector.
Water meter and leak detection system
The present invention is a water meter and leak detection system that has a residential or industrial/commercial facility water supply interruption system. The system is comprised of a remotely controllable base station with shut-off/on mechanism that is in wireless or wired (X10, Zwave, UPB) communication with a convenient controller. The base station with shut-off/on mechanism is interposed within a water line from a water main to the living or operating quarters portion of a residential or an industrial/commercial facility or building, such that activation of the base station with shut-off/on valve operates to prevent flow of water from the water main to the living quarters when the residential home or industrial/commercial facility or building is vacated or unsupervised. In this manner, damage to the living quarters or the industrial/commercial facility or building from failure of water pipes running through the living or working quarters is prevented during times that the shut-off mechanism is activated.
IV Extension Set or IV Set System with Bypass Manifold
An intravenous (IV) set system comprising a primary IV set having a plurality of access points facilitating access to one or more fluid pathways of the primary IV set, and an IV extension set removably coupled to the primary IV set to form an extended primary IV set, the IV extension set comprising an extension flow line defining an extension flow path, and a plurality of access ports on the extension flow line, at least two of the access ports comprising access ports located between first and second ends of the IV extension set. The IV set system further comprises a bypass manifold externally and removably coupled to the extension flow line of the IV extension set via the intermediate access ports on the extension flow line, the bypass manifold comprising a bypass flow line adjacent the extension flow line, and one or more access points that facilitate access to the bypass flow line, wherein the bypass manifold and the bypass flow line are operable to provide a bypass flow path through the IV extension so.
Magnetic sensor arrangement for determining a position of an actuator
A magnetic sensor arrangement for determining a position of an actuator may include a magnetic sensor to determine the position of the actuator, where the actuator may be configured to reciprocate along a longitudinal axis of an actuator housing of the actuator, such that at least a portion of the actuator may cross an end plane of the actuator housing when reciprocating along the longitudinal axis, and the magnetic sensor may sense a set of components of a magnetic field generated by a magnet, and determine, based on the sensed set of components of the magnetic field, a position of the actuator along the longitudinal axis of the actuator housing of the actuator, where the magnet may be connected to or forms part of the actuator, and where the magnetic sensor may be connected to the actuator housing, and where a portion of the magnetic sensor may be positioned at least in a first actuator position beyond the end plane of the actuator housing.
INFLATION CONTROL VALVE
Systems, methods, and devices are described for providing a fluid control means for an inflation system. The control directs fluid flow from an inlet to one or more outlets of the control. The outlets are independently connected in fluid communication with the inlet by through the control. The control allows a user to create a fluid path between the inlet and a selected outlet by positioning the control in an orientation corresponding to the desired outlet. Each outlet is independently connected in fluid communication with the inlet in various orientations of the control.
Gas purge valve with actuation sensor
A gas purge valve (114A-D) is provided within a fluid system, the valve being configured with one or more sensors (134B) each for sensing and generating one or more signals indicative of parameters associated with the valve. The fluid system further comprises a power source and a transmitting system for transmitting signals from the sensors to a remote control station (130).
Electrically operated valve
The invention provides an electrically operated valve which can more accurately detect a position of a valve body. An electrically operated valve is provided with a valve shaft, a valve body, a rotor member which is movable together with the valve shaft in a parallel direction to a first direction, a stator member which applies a turning force to the rotor member, a permanent magnet member which turns together with the rotor member, an angle sensor which detects an angle of rotation of the permanent magnet, and a guide member which guides a relative movement of the rotor member or the valve shaft in relation to the permanent magnet member. A distance between the permanent magnet and the angle sensor is fixed when the permanent magnet member turns.
