The liquid cosmetic comprises at least carbon black, water, 0.5 to 5% by mass of a dispersant comprising a film-formable resin, 2 to 15% by mass (in terms of a solid content) of a film-forming agent and 0.5% by mass or less of a surfactant, and a viscosity thereof measured at a temperature of 25 C. and a shear rate of 3.83 S.sup.1 by means of an ELD type viscometer falls in a range of 2 to 8 mPa.Math.s.
Cosmetic Products for Reducing Hair Appearance
A cosmetic product for reducing the appearance of hair. The cosmetic product includes a composition made with at least one film forming polymer present in an amount sufficient to reduce the appearance of hair on a skin surface, and a dermatologically acceptable carrier. The product also includes indicia that communicates to a user that the composition is to be applied along the direction of hair growth on the area of skin where hair appearance reduction is desired.
Rheology modifiers
Polysaccharide alkali swellable rheology modifiers include an emulsion polymer including at least one polysaccharide portion and at least one synthetic portion wherein the at least one synthetic portion is obtained from at least one anionic ethylenically unsaturated monomer, at least one nonionic ethylenically unsaturated monomer or a combination thereof; wherein at least one of the nonionic ethylenically unsaturated monomers is a hydrophobic ethylenically unsaturated monomer, as well as methods of making polysaccharide alkali swellable rheology modifiers.
Personalizing substance for application to the skin or addition to tattoo ink and methods of preparation thereof
Compositions for delivering materials, such as a biological material, sand, soil, metal, water, sea water, holy water, synthetic or biological polymers, cremated ash, ceramics, animal or plant tissue, or another physiologically compatible component having personal significance to an individual are described herein. The material(s) are encapsulated in an inert, non-bioerodible, hydrophobic, polymeric material. Methods of making microparticles encapsulating the personalizing substance and methods of use are also provided. The personalizing substance may be encapsulated in a polymeric non-bioerodible microparticle. The encapsulated personalizing substance may be combined with a carrier for delivery to an individual's skin. In some embodiments, the personalizing substance is added to a tattoo ink and incorporated in a tattoo created on an individual's skin. Following injection in the skin, the encapsulated material remains in the microparticles, and is not released over time.

COMPOSITION COMPRISING A PHOTOCROSSLINKABLE POLYMER HAVING A HYDROPHOBIC GROUP AND A COLORING AGENT
The present invention relates to a composition (C) for the treatment of keratin fibers, comprising at least one photocrosslinkable polymer having hydrophobic groups, and at least one coloring agent chosen from pigments and mixtures thereof.
The present invention also relates to a cosmetic treatment process, in particular for dyeing keratin fibers, wherein the composition (C) is applied to said fibers.
Depilatory wax additive and process
A depilatory wax additive and process. The depilatory wax additive may modify a depilatory hard wax composition to include visual, olfactory, or skin treatment components. A depilatory wax additive may include molded hard wax component and glitter, a color modifier, a scent modifier, or a skin treatment. A preexisting hard wax composition of solid particles may be heated to a liquid. The depilatory wax additive may be added to the liquefied preexisting hard wax composition, mixed, and heated to disperse the glitter, a color modifier, a scent modifier, or a skin treatment in the wax mixture.
OIL-IN-WATER DISPERSION COMPRISING HYDROPHOBIC POLYMER AND BIOSURFACTANT
The instant disclosure is drawn to a cosmetic or personal care compositions in the form of oil-in-water dispersions, wherein the dispersion comprises oil droplets having a size from about 10 nm to about 1 m. The compositions also include: (a) a hydrophobic polymer formed from a reaction product of a natural or food-derived oil and a methacrylate or acrylate polymer; (b) one or more solvents capable of solubilizing the hydrophobic polymer; (c) one or more biosurfactants, and optionally, one or more co-surfactants; and (d) water. Methods for making and using the compositions and methods for boosting foam are also disclosed.
Dissolvable solid article containing preservatives
A dissolvable solid article, comprising: water soluble polymer; a surfactant; at least one selected from diaminocarboxylic acid chelants and salts thereof; at least one selected from aromatic carboxylic acids and salts thereof; a phenolic derivative; at least one selected from , -unsaturated Aliphatic Carboxylic Acids, salts, and derivatives thereof; at least one selected from non-aromatic organic alpha hydroxy acids and salts thereof; wherein the dissolvable solid article has a pH of from about 3 to about 5.5 when dissolved with 20 parts water to 1 part of the dissolvable solid article. The present invention provides dissolvable solid articles which provide preservative efficacy even after dissolution of the articles, while controlling the concentrations of preservative ingredients in the solid articles.
