Skin Engaging Member Comprising Ethylene Vinyl Acetate
A skin engaging member suitable for use in a hair removal device, said skin engaging member comprising ethyl vinyl acetate having a low level of vinyl acetate and a water soluble polymer.
Dye composition based on copolymers derived from the polymerization of at least one crotonic acid monomer or crotonic acid derivative and of at least one thickening polymer bearing (meth)acrylic acid unit(s), and process for dyeing keratin fibers using same
The present invention relates to a composition for dyeing keratin fibers, comprising at least (i) one or more copolymers derived from the polymerization of at least one crotonic acid monomer or crotonic acid derivative and of at least two different vinyl ester monomers, (ii) one or more thickening polymers bearing (meth)acrylic acid unit(s), and (iii) one or more pigments. The invention also relates to a dyeing process in which said composition is applied to keratin fibers, the operation optionally being followed by drying. The composition makes it possible to obtain temporary dyeing having the advantage of forming a transfer-resistant deposit, leaving the treated fibers individualized, with an improved cosmetic feel.
Cosmetic composition comprising a pullulan derivative
The invention relates to a composition comprising: (i) a trialkylsiloxysilylcarbamoyl pullulan compound, (ii) a polymethyl methacrylate polymer, (iii) a mattifying substance, and (iv) at least one volatile hydrocarbon oil. The invention is also targeted at the use of such a composition for making up and/or caring for keratinous substances, the skin and the lips, and more particularly in mascaras, foundations and lipsticks.
Copolymers in cosmetic compositions
The present invention concerns the use of a specific copolymer to homogenize compositions that include coloring pigments and/or pearlescent pigments and film-forming polymers, as well as the cosmetic compositions containing said copolymer.
Nanofibre and bioactive compositions and related methods
Described herein are compositions in nanofiber form including one or more bioactive compounds releasably incorporated thereon. In one embodiment a composition is described comprising at least one nanofiber and at least one bioactive compound. The nanofibers are formed from a base material that is solubilized with the bioactive or bioactives in an aqueous based solvent solution and the base material and bioactives are together spun via electrospinning to form dry fibers with the bioactives chemically bonded to the nanofibers and the bioactives remaining stable during storage of the composition under ambient conditions substantially free of moisture. On exposure to moisture, the nanofibers dissolve, thereby releasing the bioactives.
Depilatory Wax Additive and Process
A depilatory wax additive and process. The depilatory wax additive may modify a depilatory hard wax composition to include visual, olfactory, or skin treatment components. A depilatory wax additive may include molded hard wax component and glitter, a color modifier, a scent modifier, or a skin treatment. A preexisting hard wax composition of solid particles may be heated to a liquid. The depilatory wax additive may be added to the liquefied preexisting hard wax composition, mixed, and heated to disperse the glitter, a color modifier, a scent modifier, or a skin treatment in the wax mixture.
COATING FILM FOR SKIN
A fiber layer containing a fiber assembly and a liquid preparation for applying to a skin, the fiber layer being adjusted such that the basis weight of the fiber assembly and the permittivity of the liquid preparation are in a predetermined range, having controlled vapor permeability.
A coating film for human skin, the coating film comprising a fiber layer, wherein the fiber layer comprises: a fiber assembly in which fiber of a water-insoluble polymer with a fiber diameter of 50 nm or more and less than 10,000 nm is deposited; and a liquid preparation X present between fibers and on a surface of fibers in the fiber assembly, the fiber assembly has a basis weight Q of 0.08 to 1.0 mg/cm.sup.2, and the liquid preparation X has a basis weight P of 0.5 to 2.3 mg/cm.sup.2 and a relative permittivity of 1.0 to 27, and comprises a component (a): oil agent in a liquid state at 20° C. and has a relative permittivity of 0.5 to 20, and a component (b): polyol in a liquid state at 20° C. in which the content of the component (b) in the liquid preparation X is 50 mass % or less.
Sprayable sunscreen compositions and methods
Disclosed is a sunscreen composition that includes a sunscreen active composition, a volatile, oil phase solvent, and a rheology-modifying ethylene copolymer. The sunscreen composition is in the form of a thixotropic gel. The sunscreen composition may be dispersed to the skin using an aerosol- or non-aerosol-based spray apparatus. The sunscreen composition is provided to prevent ultraviolet radiation from causing damage to skin. Methods for preparing a sunscreen composition are also disclosed.
COMPOSITION FOR MUD PACK AND MUD PACK COMPRISING THE SAME
The present invention provides a composition comprising a mud rich in various active ingredients such as natural minerals, wherein the composition has a sufficiently low viscosity so as to stably provide a sheet-type mud pack, and a mud pack comprising the same. The mud pack comprising the composition is excellent in sebum control ability and pore shrinking ability, and is very effective for improving skin smoothness.
MOISTURIZING FILM COSMETIC MATERIAL
There is provided a cosmetic which can moisturize the skin and exhibit a beautifying effect in low humidity environments while reducing sticky uncomfortable feelings in high humidity environments or sweaty states.
A moisturizing film cosmetic of the present disclosure comprises a polyvinyl alcohol film
