Chuck
The invention relates to tool mount with a base body and a receptacle that is joined with the base body for torque transmission and anchored in the base body in an axially movable manner with a spring preload. The base body exhibits a shank section with a recess that is open on the machine tool side, and a bushing section that axially lengthens the shank section, with a guide borehole that is open on the tool side and separated from the recess of the shank section by a radial dividing wall. The receptacle exhibits a guide section that is guided in the guide borehole of the bushing section in an axially movable manner. The receptacle is anchored by means of an anchor that passes through an axial opening in the radial dividing wall and can be actuated for setting the spring preload via the recess of the base body.
Power tool adaptor and a reversible tool bit holder adaptor for a power tool adaptor
A power tool adaptor for holding a tool adapted thereto including an adaptor body, a tool insertion cavity formed in an end of the adaptor body for receiving the tool, an elongated tool bit insertion cavity formed as a continuation of the tool insertion cavity, means for fixating the tool by protruding into one or more fixation recesses on the outer surface of the tool and means for attaching the power tool adaptor to a power tool; a reversible tool bit holder is further disclosed for holding two changeable tool bits, which reversible tool bit holder is adapted to fit into the power tool adaptor, along with a kit including a power tool adaptor and a reversible tool bit holder adapted to fit into the power tool adaptor.
Handheld machine tool
A handheld machine tool having an output shaft on which a tool holding fixture is developed, which has a multi-faced inner receptacle and a multi-faced outer receptacle, the multi-faced inner receptacle to connect to a tool insert, which can be locked using a locking device assigned to the tool holding fixture; the locking device having a locking sleeve which is displaceable for unlocking the tool insert against a spring force applied by an associated spring element in an axial direction facing away from the handheld machine tool, from a locking to an unlocking position, the locking sleeve has an operating element and a holding element connected to each other via a threaded connection, the holding element driven by the associated spring element in the direction of the locking position of the locking sleeve and the operating element enables displacement of the locking sleeve from the locking to the unlocking position.
Chuck tool and bits
A tool arrangement and chuck apparatus for quick change of a range of tools; particularly, a quick change chuck adapted to engage various diameter drill bits, tools and tool holders. The tools are rotatable in a chuck or adaptor and have at one end a centering shaft portion having a constant diameter for multiple tool end diameters and shapes, a drive shoulder portion and a lock portion. The chucks have a tool centering arrangement for accommodating the constant diameter centering shaft. The chucks are also described as having tool bit release mechanism operable to disengage the tool from a retention mechanism when a force is applied inwards of the body of the chuck by the user to allow the tool bit to be removed longitudinally from the chuck but also arrange to allow the tool bit to be inserted longitudinally into the chuck without requiring any other user operation.
