Oral care compositions
An oral care composition comprising zinc phosphate, stannous fluoride, an anionic polymer, and a basic amino acid, as well as methods of using the same.
Polymer Comprising Certain Level Of Bio-Based Carbon
The present invention relates to a polymer comprising: (a) from 9.49 mol-% to 98 mol-% repeating units according to Formula (1) wherein at least 10 wt.-% of the repeating units according to Formula (1) comprise from 28 wt.-% to 100 wt.-% bio-based carbon content, relative to the total mass of carbon in the repeating unit according to Formula (1), measured according to standard ASTM D6866-12, Method B;
##STR00001##
(b) from 0.01 mol-% to 5 mol-% crosslinking or branching units; (c) from 0.01 mol-% to 88.52 mol-% of repeating neutral structural units; (d) from 1.98 mol-% to 20 mol-% of repeating anionic structural units, wherein the repeating anionic structural units result from the incorporation of a monomer comprising at least one carboxylate anion, and wherein the repeating anionic structural units are different from units (a).
COSMETIC COMPOSITION FOR TEMPORARILY SHAPING KERATINIC FIBERS, BASED ON RENEWABLE RAW MATERIALS
A cosmetic composition for temporarily shaping keratinous fibers, in particular human hair, is provided. The cosmetic composition comprises a film-forming agent comprising a homopolymer or copolymer derived from itaconic acid and a rheology modifier comprising a polysaccharide. A method for temporarily shaping keratinous fibers using the cosmetic composition also is provided.
Oral composition for tooth whitening
A tooth whitening oral care composition is made by combining ingredients comprising flakes of a water soluble whitening film, a dye with a hue angle in the CIELAB system ranging from 200 to 320 degrees, and an orally acceptable carrier vehicle. The flakes of the water soluble whitening film comprise: (a) a film-forming polymer comprising hydroxyalkyl cellulose wherein the hydroxyalkyl cellulose has a viscosity of about 1 to about 1000 millipascal seconds (mPa.Math.s) as determined as a 2% by weight aqueous solution of the film-forming polymer at 20 C using a Ubbelohde tube viscometer; and (b) a pigment with a hue angle in the CIELAB system ranging from 200 to 320 degrees.
PUMP-TYPE TOOTHPASTE COMPOSITION
The present disclosure relates to a pump-type toothpaste composition capable of being provided as contained in a pumping type container, and to a pump-type toothpaste composition improving the spreading property to a tooth as the toothpaste composition discharged to a toothbrush penetrates into the toothbrush and having an effect of ultimately delivering a medicinal ingredient continuously for a long time in the oral cavity.
In addition, the present disclosure relates to a pump-type toothpaste composition with excellent commercial value, which can ensure discharge stability without hardening and accordingly, can be used in a pump-type container equipped with a dispenser pump (dip pump), which has a remarkable problem of hardening in the discharge port due to free movement of external air because of properties of the container, and thus can ensure even the convenient use.
PHOSPHONATES AND N-HALAMINES COMPOSITIONS FOR TARTAR REMOVAL
Provided herein are compositions and methods comprising phosphonates, N-halamines or combination thereof for dental care. Specifically, for removing tartar (calculus), including mature tartar.
Water-in-oil type emulsion composition
A water-in-oil emulsion composition that is significantly excellent in emulsification stability, and also excellent in non-stickiness is provided. The water-in-oil emulsion composition includes (a) a polyoxyalkylene/alkyl co-modified silicone; (b) a core-corona particle; (c) an oil-phase component; and (d) an aqueous-phase component.
Cleansing compositions
Described herein, are personal care compositions comprising a surfactant system; an amino acid, e.g. taurine; and a deposition aid comprising a PVM/MA copolymer having a M.W. of from about 30,000 to about 1,000,000, or a vinylimidazolium vinyl pyrrolidone copolymer. Methods of making and using these compositions are also described.
Method for dyeing keratin material, comprising the use of an organic C1-C6 alkoxy silane and a copolymer of styrene and maleic acid (anhydride)
A method for coloring keratinous material, in particular human hair, includes the step of applying on the keratinous material: a first composition (A) comprising: (A1) one or more organic C.sub.1-C.sub.6 alkoxysilanes and/or condensation products thereof, and (A2) at least one colorant compound selected from the group comprising pigments and direct dyes, and a second composition (B) comprising (B1) a copolymer of styrene and maleic acid (anhydride).
Prebiotic Oral Care Methods Using a Saccharide
The disclosure relates to methods of enhancing beneficial oral bacteria and decreasing harmful oral bacteria comprising administering oral care compositions comprising a saccharide prebiotic, e.g., selected from D-turanose, D-melezitose, D-lactitol, myo-inositol, and N-acetyl-D-mannosamine; and oral care compositions for use in such methods. The disclosure also relates to methods of using prebiotic oral care compositions, methods of screening, and methods of manufacture.
