An eyelash curling device includes a mechanical eyelash curler and a carrier strip. The mechanical eyelash curler includes a first portion and a second portion configured to move relative to one another. The first portion includes an upper jaw. The second portion includes a lower jaw. The movement of the first and second portions relative to one another causes the upper and lower jaws to move from a first position in which the upper and lower jaws are located at a distance from one another and a second position in which the upper and lower jaws are in contact with one another. The carrier strip is coupled to at least one of the upper and lower jaws. The carrier strip includes at least one active agent therein on thereon. The at least one active agent is configured to aid in retaining a curl in eyelashes when it contacts the eyelashes.

The invention provides non-crosslinked and crosslinked block copolymers comprising at least one block A comprising repeating units derived from monomers comprising one or more C.sub.1-C.sub.3 alkyl (meth)acrylamides and/or (meth)acrylates and at least one block B comprising repeating units derived from monomers comprising one or more C.sub.4-C.sub.40 alkyl (meth)acrylamides. A nail composition including a base composition and a dispersion of acrylic polymer particles. The dispersion of acrylic polymer particles is a dispersion of C1-C4 alkyl (meth)acrylate polymer particles stabilized with a stabilizer in a hydrocarbon oil, where the stabilizer is selected from the group consisting of: isobornyl (meth)acrylate homopolymers and statistical copolymers of isobornyl (meth)acrylate and of C1-C4 alkyl (meth)acrylate. The nail composition does not comprise a UV-curable material.

An aluminum-free antiperspirant/deodorant composition in the form of stick, cream, or flowable gel includes a carrier that includes a polyhydric alcohol or is a mixture of a polyhydric alcohol and water; a thickening agent including a C.sub.14-22 fatty acid salt; and an antiperspirant active and optionally a film-forming polymer dispersed in the carrier. The antiperspirant active is primarily a zinc-based antiperspirant active.

The disclosure deals with a lubricative skin engaging member with progressive release of lubricating polymer from a water-insoluble matrix containing thermoplastic elastomer compound and maleic anhydride copolymer and lubricating polymer in concentration less than 30%. The disclosure lies in the use of the maleic anhydride in grafted form on polyethylene and the incorporation of water-soluble lubricating polymer in concentration less than 30% in the thermoplastic elastomer compound, leading to a lubricative mixture, and to a skin engaging member, with increased homogeneity and water absorption ability that assist in the lubricating polymer release in a progressive and controllable manner.

Described herein are oral care compositions comprising (i) a magnesium alkali metal silicate complex clay, and (ii) an orally acceptable anionic polymer, in a dentifrice base, which compositions are useful for alleviating dental sensitivity.
