Nano-complexes for enamel remineralization
The invention relates to nano-sized complexes formed by associating amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP) and/or amorphous calcium fluoride phosphate (ACFP) with an amphiphilic polymer surfactant. The amphiphilic polymer surfactants can form nano-sized assemblies in aqueous solution, serving as a nano dispersant preventing ACP and/or ACFP from aggregation, and as a nano carrier associating or attaching ACP and/or ACFP, stabilizing ACP and/or ACFP against the conversion to a crystalline form as well, thus maintaining calcium and phosphate/and fluoride ions in a bioavailable state for dental re-mineralization and prevention of dental caries, dental calculus and dental hyper-sensitivity. A method for the nano-sized complex preparation and compositions comprising the nano-sized complexes are also provided.

Oral Composition for Tooth Whitening
A tooth whitening oral care composition is made by combining ingredients comprising flakes of a water soluble whitening film, a dye with a hue angle in the CIELAB system ranging from 200 to 320 degrees, and an orally acceptable carrier vehicle. The flakes of the water soluble whitening film comprise: (a) a film-forming polymer comprising hydroxyalkyl cellulose wherein the hydroxyalkyl cellulose has a viscosity of about 1 to about 1000 millipascal seconds (mPa.Math.s) as determined as a 2% by in the CIELAB system ranging from 200 to 320 degrees.

A composition comprising: A) a transparent gel base, comprising: a) a polymeric thickener, b) a solubiliser, c) a pH adjuster, d) a calcium sequestrant, e) water, f) an optional protein, g) an optional active material, which is selected from disaccharides, lactones, inorganic salts, diacids and mixtures thereof, h) an optional dye preferably comprising violet, blue, red or mixtures thereof, wherein the solubiliser comprises a mixture of at least two components, said mixture comprising at least one high HLB component having an HLB value of from 10 to 20 and at least one low HLB component having an HLB value of from 1 to less than 10, and B) a hydrogel particle, comprising: a) a matrix, and b) a silicone or blend of silicones, wherein the silicone or blend of silicones has an average molecular weight of greater than 400 Da, and wherein the particle has an average diameter of 0.1 to 15 mm and wherein the silicone is present in an amount of from 5 to 40 wt % by total weight of the particle. A method of treating a substrate includes contacting the substrate with the composition and applying a releasing force to the hydrogel particle to release the silicone.
